It seems to me it would have been way easier to just use the dragon age forum database both for that forum and for this one on the community site.
This seems like a lot of dubble work to me, plus, lot's of us are now monotoring two forums.
I am sure there is a good reason why it happened like this, presumably because this forum cannot read the database of the other one, but if it were me I would have thought of that before i made the community site:P

So explain to me the logic in this decision, or guess.

I think BioWare has a policy of shutting down pre-release forums upon release. If that's the case, those forums won't be available much longer anyway and it doesn't matter.
