How the hell you romance Kelly?

When ever i get a new squad mate she always keeps saying cheerfull stuff but no romance.
So far with my lesbian Shep she asked me about if there is a relation with Kaiden and i replied with 'no'.

How far away am i untill i get into her knickers?

About 2-3 years, and that's if she doesn't die in the opening cinematic.

Ive completed the game and got no mail from her so I guess that romancing her is lost?

I got my confirmation after the Collector Ship quest. I asked her for a hug and that trigger the invitation for dinner.

good thing about romancing kelly is that I think it won't affect your original LI from ME1 so it should set you up as loyal for ME3
