But all this DLC is coming as .exe's in my registered game promotions....

Would this not mean that people who have these could simply put the .exe's on something like drop.io and let everyone have them?



Or, most likely are they tied somehow and will bork my game if an attempt is made?

The DLC needs to be verified online, everytime you play. So no, you can't just send the .exe around.


(BTW: I'd like some codes too....)

They have to be tied to your ea account otherwise they wont show up ingame, you can install em all if you got hold of the .exe files but none of them would work.



I'm still trying to get hold of two of the promo items myself, managed to get the visor due to one kind person but the hunt for the other items continues.

Seriously, having this crap tied to things like this, giving me no chance for it etc, is what makes people look to other methods.



If your going to have this stuff, it needs to be available to all.

Yes, until you go online again, then it comes back, AFAIK.
Kinda like DA: O does if the updater/DLC service isn't running.
(It just complains that it's not verified & won't let you use the DLC until it can verify it's legality.)

This kinda crap is really starting to irk me.

Like yeah, I have seen where to get the .exe's, but what a jyp. I cannot even get the damned codes here, so it's just "Sorry you're SOL, next!"

I'd appreciate a code. I'm actually from California, but it seems my area has been shunned. I live in the Bay Area and I can't find a single store with one. My bf even called his friend in SoCal and his whole dorm tried to find a store with them in a 5 mile radius and they too had no luck.
