You also get a Personal email from the Asari Consort as well.

Well, if they DON'T fix it, then the entire point of decisions that cross over is a little less credible. So I would think they would at least take note of it.

It's pretty funny though, since Conrad returning was the first "fluff" element they revealed as an example of how your choices would have effect on even the minor things. And that's the very one that ended messed up.

"Conrad will remember how you treated him."

Err, no. Try again, Bioware.

On my Renegade play through he was in the bar (shot him in the foot). My paragon however in ME1 stopped talking to him. I didn't like how he sounded when he took that picture of me holding my gun, and thought he was going to frame me or something.

So with the Paragon import he is no where to be found.

i would appreciate if someone could confirm but on my renegade play through i never encountered conrad. i remember in the first game after being as rude as possible when i was in the elevator an announcer said that he apparently tried to harass some aliens in a restraunt or something and died.

so maybe renegade = he never made it to 2 paragon = still crazy

He's a bit crazy, but I highly doubt he's crazy enough to think I shoved a gun in his face when I didn't, furthermore as mentioned earlier, this was one of the choices BW said would port over - that Conrad would remember. Him always being there and saying "You stuck a gun in my face!" is hardly living up to that.

I just wish we could get an actual comment about this, is he crazy or is it a bug?

It's clearly a bug. They took him as an example of how things would carry through. So far it seems you encounter him even if he died and he always refers to the renegade persuasion.

And there are several other things not transferring well. The result of the Sirta Foundation mission, The consort and people coming across people that died in their import.

Agreed on the Consort being a bit iffy. My Shep heard news reports of her leaving the Citadel due to bad press, but she also received an email referring to the "gift of words" the Consort had given her. Bamboozling!

the sirta foundation mission was broken back in ME1 anyway. I made sure not to kill a single civilian but the news always reports a "blood bath"

The Consort one..I dunno. He DID accuse her of an information leak before you figured out what was going on.

And here I was about to play through ME1 for a 4th straight time after getting a new xbox to get my sirta foundation save fixed (seemed to always kill just one person - always a blood bath) but if its not fixable thats a bit lame.

Yup, not fixable, I killed nobody, got the impressed speech from Hackett, news guy still says it's a blood bath.

Well in the consort's case they at least explain her departure as being the result of YEARS of bad press, not just one incident. So it merely could be that while you saved her reputation in that one instance something else happened later on that caused her current circumstances.

I can't find any good excuse for what happened with Conrad however. You could try and explain it away as him being delusional, and he certainly is, but as others have said the Dev's TOLD us that his reaction would be based upon our choices from the original game and I certainly don't remember aiming a gun directly at him.

by the way did everyone get the message at some point on the citadel that the alliance are having trouble recruiting or something ... was that affected by anything?

I think the message about recruitment dieing down over fears of keeping up with geth tech is related to the mission in ME1, to turn over Batiah's body for testing or return it to her husband.

You can just avoid him in Illium, not that hard. When they do fix it, go talk to him.

Um, i picked the paragon options on Conrad in ME1, and Shepard DID stick a gun in his face when telling him the galaxy was dangerous and he needed to take care of his family (saying that's what keeps Shepard going, knowing people are depending on him). At least i'm 95% sure that's what happened...

He's a man on the edge. He's got nothin' to lose!

Part of me is wondering how a Paragon Conrad is even going to compete in with Renegade Conrad in terms of hilarity.

You're wrong. Paragon Shepard just says that what keeps him/her going is knowing that the men and women of the Alliance are keeping humanity strong at home. Conrad realises he's being obsessive and agrees to go home to his wife.

Hmm, maybe i picked a middle-ground option then? I remember being surprised that a "good" option in dialogue choice ended up with me brandishing my gun...
