Anyone else having this problem? I've re-tried this mission about 10 times now, and I cannot get the option to appear un-greyed.

You need to have higher levels in persuade (i.e. your skill as a class).

Bioware axed the pursuade upgrades in ME2. I've read you have to activate a quick time by selecting the top option in the dialog tree right after Zaeed sets off the explosion, then by the time you finish the mission you will get his loyalty. I personally haven't tried this myself but soon will.

I did the paragon button, still nothing.

your not the only one i made another new game because of it and some of the paragon chat options seems to be bugged like Jack argument with Miranda and i kno that requires 30-50% Paragon and i couldn't select it same goes with Zieed mish when u decide to save the refinery

I'm having this exact same problem TWICE now on my NG+. Any luck figuring it out?

It did that for me as well.I finally got it to work on a different character by recruiting him and doing his loyalty mission before any thng else.
