I am curious about one thing in the bracillien forest. When you get to the "Mad Hermit" there is a tree stump, everytime i click on it I can do nothing. What I am wondering is if anyone know what to do and how to do it?

You should get action options to put your hand in it or enter the hermit's cave. You really should have Zevran in your party for this, for lolz. The hermit may attack you. I've had him attack me if I steal stuff right after first talking to him, but not do anything if I go back after Nature of the Beast is complete.

The hermit plays a game with you so to speak.Question for question ,answer for answer.Its possible to get what you need without resorting to violence.Thats all im going to say!:-D

you can trade the book cammen gave you or the red scarf from the werewolf lady to get the acorn.



i like killing the hermit and letting the mabari hound pee on his tent.

I just wish that when the hermit asks you that lone question about love n you say maybe right now that you can get some kind of interaction from the party member that you might be in love with lol... And I always make sure that whoever I'm having a relationship with is with me when I do talk to the hermit, always hoping someone will make a comment lmao

Sorry I can't help you there.  I've only interacted with the stump once n the hermit got upset, I've never tried it again lol

Yes. You can get the acorn by reaching in. The hermit will be mad and attack you but it is a good fight. He is a blood mage.

It depends on what you trade the hermit for, there are three items in the stump.

Hmm. What do you get if you agree to kill the Great Oak Tree for the hermit? What happens if you do this *after* you first agreed to help the tree get its acorn back?

I'm not sure what the Grand Oak drops, but you will need to bring the Mad Hermit a werewolf pelt, so he can enchant it. The werewolf pelt will allow you to pass through the mist the same way the branch from the Grand Oak does.

There is also no effect from being stung by the creature living in the tree stump.
