Just beat the game, very very good. Makes me sad I got to wait 2 or 3 more years for the next one. Anyways, a friend and me spent a lot of time while playing ME2 discussing the good and the bad. It is a great conversation. So what does everyone think is good in ME2 and isn't. What does everyone think is a great change from ME1 and what needs to be changed back too for ME3.

Thank god there are no more elevators, thank you Bioware.

The Inventory System, I like it but I don't like it. My friend and I spent the most time debating this particular aspect so I am going to focus the most on it because the inventory system is a key component to any RPG. ME1 had what could be considered the standard inventory system for an RPG, the draw back is there was too much crap. With ME2, the idea was to essentially rewrite how the inventory works and it works flawlessly to me. When I played ME1 I spent more time than I wanted to just managing my inventory, with ME2 I am sad to admit I am spending less time than I want to but that is good. An issue I had with ME1 was with so many different weapons why do they all look the same? I am sure a lot of people agreed with that sentiment. Then ME2 came along with different weapons, but wait a second...where are the weapons? I severely loathe the fact that there are not enough weapons for me to choose and use. Even if they do the same thing, I love that feeling of completing a particullarly hard mission and getting a cool new weapon for it. Getting some credits and exp just isn't the same as that. So when ME3 roles around I hope Bioware gets a balance, I would love an easy to use inventory like ME2 but I want a large amount of diversity, not on the insane scale of ME1 with too much stuff but enough that I am satisfied but am not drowning in weaponry.

While I miss landing on a planet and exploring I like the whole scan a planet thing better, could use a little more side missions on random planets though.

Don't crucify me but I miss the Mako, while I don't miss the stupid controls I do miss cruising around in it.

Choices, Bioware certainly delivered when they said your choices will have a greater effect on what happens and I LOVE that. I love the fact that if I let someone live later on it could come back a nip me in the butt or it could potentially help me. Even after beating the game once, I definitely have to go back and experience some of the things I didn't do. Normally with RPGs I despise, I even hate doing a second play through simply because I know everything that happens and that is boring for me, but even more now with ME2 I can't play it again and come out with the same results!

Anyways I could continue typing and more typing. If your reading this congrats you made it to the end of my post. You deserve a medal if you read through all my stuff and if you just skipped through all my stuff I don't blame you :o
