Okay, so I got tired of fighting with my three-and-a-half year old Xbox last week when I couldn't properly import my 'Mass Effect' character into ME2 (I was suffering from the "Play DVD" error). Bought a new Xbox last week and slapped my old hard-drive on there, and now I have to re-download all my old DLC add-on content. So far, this hasn't been a problem, but because I got the Stone Prisoner DLC for free via code when I pre-ordered DA:O at Gamestop, the Xbox Live Marketplace doesn't recognize that I own the content, and therefore won't let me re-download it without dropping the 1200 MS Points. Even worse, I can't even access any of my saves until I download the content again... is there a remedy here? I won't be pleased if I'm out $15 on top of the $211 I paid for my new Xbox, just to play a game I've been enjoying for months.

You can redownload it via the Downloadable Content screen within Dragon Age: origins. You just need to make sure you're logged in with the xbox profile that you used to redeem the content.

To add a little to this, I've noticed that there are actually two "Stone Prisoner" DLC available on the Xbox live marketplace. One is the 1200 point content that you have to pay for and the other has the same title but is listed as free if you've inputted the code. Try going to live marketplace, dragon age, all downloads, and scroll down and see if you see a second "Stone Prisoner".

I had the exact same problem as you (down to the buying a new xbox to play mass effect because of the "play DVD error"). Here's how I've gone around solving it:
go to your xbox hard drive in the settings screen. Look for all the downloadable content and delete it. Then Boot Dragon Age, go to downloadable content and it should say "purchased" instead of "downloaded" next to all the stuff you previously owned. Now you should be bale to redownload everything from that screen without problems. That said, you'd think they would make this easier.
