Just a reminder for ya people that are complaining about the lack of forum 'beta', take a look at the top middle of the site page that happens to have the word 'Beta' on it. Suprise! WE'RE the beta!

I assume that the game itself did have a beta, but puder games are only getting MORE complicated as time goes on, & the amount of puder hardware & software configurations is nigh endless. Noone can plan for everything. Even a 10 year beta could miss at least 1 bug, especially when new hardware & software configurations are coming out AS the beta continues. (Like Windows 7!) Don't hate the game makers for this, hate the puder companies that squabble & compete with each other like 6 year olds, & won't standardize stuff. (I can't get my case's Headphone & Microphone port plugged into my motherboard to use it partially because the case makers stiffed me in documentation & partially because the connection labeling is NOT standardized between the case connectors & the motherboard connectors, & a wrong move is dangerous to the motherboard. )

These forums have been a pretty cozy place thus far. With all due respect, please be civil & keep them this way.

Its nice to have a little web site like this one, but with functions like search disabled, its kind of more like a large collection of random people talking to themselves, and repeatedly asking the same (often troubleshooting) questions over and over again.

It would be nice (great) if some more resources were allocated to these pages, just to make sticky FAQs that cover off all the problems people are having. This would at least save the players a lot of time, trying to solve their problems. And it would stop soooo many duplicate posts about the same problem that just get lost into the forum ether......

So far I've spent more time on the forums trying to solve my install/other problems than I have actually playing the game. But I've only owned it for 24 hours now......

However this game really does kick some ass, and looks like its going to be a hell of a lot of fun building modules and trying out all that the superb community has to offer.

Well, it wouldn't be so bad if all the links in the game didn't send everyone here. Bioware still has an active Dragon Age forums on their other site, but it was supposed to be shutting down for this one to take over. Its still up and I have to assume thats due to the massive overload this site got. Problem being all links still point to here. So, that coupled with swamped mods ( ie no time to sticky important fixes in the tech support area ) and no search = chaos... But, we over at the Tech support area are trying to maintain some order.. just Please get the search going soon

..And this is the best way to motivate the developer to address the issues with ths SocialNetwork BETA site. 

The fact  that it is a BETA means that we are testing it and reporting problems as we find them.  The problems then have to be prioritized with which to address first based upon their severity and the resources available to fix them. 

In any case, posts such as this do not help and I would suggest you walk for a day in the site managers shoes before you shoot from the hip like this

it is not my job to motivate them, i am a customer. they are getting paid for the job. you are releasing a new game and the website does not work, beta or not this is "failure" with or without excuses. the game is great, no doubt. but all this website business was horrendous.

Just my two cents, If Im running this site getting search working would be high on my list of fixes. As already discussed we have the same topics started over and over each without the value of one longer topic that covers an issue completely. Its a win win because many users are seeking information and it cuts down on support traffic by allowing folks to find the answers they seek themselves.

We ugently need 'search' for the website. The forum is flooded with posts oan it's

hard to find anything without search.

As well it would be very useful to add subtopics as well so the post can be organized better.

Guys, turning on the search again would be class. It´s too damn tough to scroll to 80 sites in each forum, please turn it on again pls!

If that many people were having problems, I doubt the website would be inundated. It would probably have crashed.

There are not 'hundreds of thousands' of people having problems.
