Jesus, this thread is terrible. And I'm someone who agrees with the topic title.



First off, you have the people who are going out of there way to shoot it down, and saying that people saying they want it should basically shut up and be quiet. Which makes a boat load of sense, because it sure as hell didn't work at getting Tali and Garrus into ME2 as love interests.



Then you have the folks that seem against Talimance in general, which just begs the question of "why come to the thread"

To be blunt, I would like to see FemShep/Tali in the 3rd game. Tali strikes me as the most interesting love option in the game, but it's just one persons opinion. I wouldn't mind if it's a "subtle" like the Kelly one (Which wasn't that subtle, but subtle enough to get it through). I don't need a sex scene, but I'd be happy with a relaxed admission that Tali considers Shep the most important person in her life (which is basically canon anyway). I don't think it'll happen, but I don't think it hurts to throw it out there.

'tis true. I was very appreciative of the thought behind Tali offering to link suits. I recognized how profound that offer, that she'd do that, was.

I wish Talimancers (+5 Spellpower?) the best in getting BioWare to expand the Talimance opportunities. Now, if only they hadn't left Liara out to dry for ME2. >.>

and I just did the Paragon speech for Tali's trial, it seemed more epic with the Blood dragon armor on. the fact that the cheek armors light up when he talks like the quarians made it fit.

Perhaps, Kyero. Or, perhaps, go the opposite way. Make the romances in ME2 available for both genders, but make them more difficult to attain. Make it an actual achievement to romance a character.

I actually had noticed that there was a fairly large group that liked the idea of Garrus/Male Shep. Personally I've disliked Garrus since ME1 and can't see the like, but to each their own. I hope they get it somehow if that's what they want.

It's a lot of fun to do the speech as a Renegade too, what with your face falling off you are sort of intimidating.  You can even support Tali's wishes by mixing up the paragon/regenade options.

I indeed would have liked the option to have my Sheppard to swing any witch way but loose but I can also agree that its more realistic that some characters would be just one sexual orientation not every one in the world is indeed a wica callit bisexual. I don't think that anyone here was whining to have bioware cowdown to every minority for the sake of appeasement as some in here have accused. They were simply expressing disappointment at the lack of choice. This fake southern gentleman is goin to go back to his veranda and his bloody marry.

Thank you! That's basically were my thoughts on them being great together have kinda come from. It's kinda clear that no matter what your gender is, Tali is bordering on idolizing you. If you did things the Paragon way through and through, you have saved her from the ambush by Saren, took her on your ship and treated her as an equal in a galaxy that treats Quarians quite badly, gave her information to end her pilgramage, let her take Veetor back to the Fleet, rescued her from a Geth ambush, was there for her when she found her father, listened to Tali's wishes of not telling about her fathers mis-deeds WHILE being able to keep her among her people. I don't think you can argue against Tali holding Shepard in the highest reguard.

The question is could you jump all of that into Tali having a romantic interest in you? I think the answer to that is a yes, reguardless of what sex you are. If she's willing to jump the "across species" barrier, the "across gender" line, you'd think, wouldn't be that much bigger of a jump.

I guess more or less it comes down to the homosexual relationship aspect. Which, even though I disagree, I get. Which is why I say just have them acknowledge their feelings without really talking about it much in detail. It's basically already acknowled with Tali. Just to show that Shepard holds her in very high reguard to do it. I don't think it'll happen but.... It'd be nice.
