In all honesty I don't think she has any interest in alien species. She has an interest in Shepard. That's vastly different than having an interest in humans of that sort.

Sort of like the idea of a woman that likes men, but that "one" woman she likes in the same way as the men. She doesn't like other women in that manner, just the one. I find the result similar. It's not about the race or gender, it's about "that person."

Tali can't be 'human-liking' just for Shepard.  It goes against the universe...or something.

Also true, I think in the end this is a hot button issue and there is no tidy resolution but I stand by my statements that:

1) it isn't in game currently as a "complete" romance option for females, maybe flirting I guess but nothing more.

2) It does not really matter in the large scheme of things but I doubt a rewrite of any official capacity in the works.

Methinks that someone suffers from moron syndrome. Turian skin isn't hard as a rock or jagged. They evolved thin metallic plates OVER their skin to protect from radiation.

I can't argue with most of what you're saying here, but with Jack... I've known a lot of freaky chicks, and I've never seen one that was covered in tatoos, shaved her head, had been an abused child, and had never messed around with another girl.  Also, Jack gives her bio - and right after she escaped Cerberus she was taken in and taken to bed by a couple, implying that she has had some experience of naked time with another female.

He's just kinda blah. He's a nice guy but that's about the whole of his character. More of a good buddy than an LI.

There's only one possible, reasonable, response to this negative stimuli. Buy an island, preferably with a volcano. Hire henchmen. Make lab. Gain title mad scientist. Create death ray. Hold the world at ransom.

I'm not sure how this actually helps, but it'd be really entertaining.

The Asari can breed with anyone, they're not held back by such petty things as gender and physical form...mostly...though the quarian was odd...I think they put it in there specificaly for Talimance.

I agree.  Tali shouldn't be a romance option PERIOD.

I liked her when she was strictly platonic friends with Shepard.

She still is if you played it like that. This is an RPG. What is, is, and is due to a result of your actions and interactions. If you did the nono with everyone's favorite Masked Lady it's your own fault. Those things don't just fall in you know.

But the option is still there and it bothers me.  It's out of character!!!!  Tali shouldn't be into humans.

Out of character? Are you crazy or did you just ignore every piece of evidence that Shepard is the most important person in Tali's life regardless of relationships.

F*** you, first of all. Second off, that was me being polite for people who like him as a character. But since you were such a pain in the A** about it here we go.

Jacob is a whiny boring little B**** who's completely incapable of doing anything but bowing his head and saying yes ma'am. He's weak stupid and useless. He can't lead a team without dieing and if it weren't completely impossible for any team member to fail bringing the crew back, he'd fail there too.

Beyond all that he's BORING he says nothing worth listening to the whole game...except for when you find out his fathers a megalomaniac serial rapist. That's a great story to tell the kids huh. "Well your grandpa made people eat toxic plants and then raped them or killed them, or both."

He's scum.

The only reason you would have reacted to such a mild criticism like that is either A) you are just that much against a female option or You're a fan of his character. If it's B,  hope you like it.

And that's fine, doesn't bother me. I want her to be a love interest and am disappointed, others want jacob to be a love interest and are quite happy. 

If jacob wasn't an LI, I'd bet you'd here complaints too.
