Flank it, and hit it hard with attacks that rip shields and armor. It's actually very easy once all other Geth are dead.

You have to get buy the geth to an area where you can still see it when it's repairing. Then Heavy Weapon the thing until it's gone while it's repairing.

More specifically, go up and around the left side to get right up on top of it (taking out geth on your way of course) then unload onto it, I personally had the collector laser, and that was able to take it out pretty quick.

Yeah, just get it from the side. Garrus destroyed it rather easily.

Max out Lift and use it to throw the Colossus into the air!!

I just went to the left, I used a Vanguard, Garrus and Miranda. I knew I was going into Geth territory so I took Tech specialists.

I was on Insanity with Adept, Miranda and Grunt as my team mates and I went right.

Read the descriptions of the guns. Some are better vs. any given defense than others.

For shields, use fast repeating weapons like the SMG you'll conveniently find on the very same planet. For armor, use slow hard hitting weapons like heavy pistols and rifles.

I went left with Maranda and Garius. He fell pretty fast to the particle beam.

From where you start, check your right. You'll see a ramp leading up to a walkway. Fight to the end of this with your team, and you'll arrive at a platform. Nothing will follow you to this place, and the Colossus may not fire on you there. Even your small arms can be brought to bear from here.



The only thing you ought to watch for are geth soldiers on the lower level. They seem to approach two at a time, and can fire up at you.while you're shooting at the Colossus from cover.



I used this method to kill the Colossus on "insanity" difficulty.

as did i.  i tore through the shields with my assault rifle, then whittles its armor down with my sniper rifle and heavy pistol.  when it got to about 25% i took out the nade launcher and just unloaded on it.  didnt even repair.

I flanked right with the Widow rifle. It demolished the Colossus.

When in Doubt, use the Cain.



Actually when not in doubt use the Cain. Use the Cain for whatever you can, and make sure the bass of your speakers is up.



Hilarity will ensue.

It easy hide around the corner from it, then use the abilities of your team and yourself to take out the shields, then same for armor, don't stop hitting it, if you do it repairs then you gotta start over. Save heavy weapon ammo and just pound it.

Doubly so on Insanity.

I actually found this fight rather easy on Insanity compared to some of the other ones. Kill all the Geth, find a good vantage point and whittle it down.

Much easier than Horizon, or defending the mainframe on Legion's loyalty quest. Now those were difficult.

I fired the nuke cannon thing into the ceiling above it from in front of it, out of it's line of fire. That took a bite out of it.

This was hard for me because the geth didn't stop spawning, even when I was up to the colossus. I must have killed dozens and dozens of foot soldiers before I just decided to find a place they couldn't flank me at and focused on the Colossus.

i actually didnt have that bad of a time with legions quest.  i was a soldier and i took tali as my third member.  had tali on the right side of the final room, legion on the left, and i took the middle.  had legion hack turrets at the bottom when the geth were trickling into the room, and just waited for them to come up the stairs.  when the hunters arrived, id take out their shields, then have tali or legion hack them, and id sit back and pick everything off.

Actually, I killed it with the black hole heavy weapon thing. I was rather surprised to be honest, I was trying to take out the extra geth beside him so I could shoot Mr. C with out harassment but then the black hole exploded/imploded (what ever it does) and Mr. C was gone...I was like What?
