And... dunno if anyone else will ever mention that: Mordin talking about his nephew. It was something so personal and so touching that I never expected. Made me hold my breath and remember what Shepard is fighting for.

I'm surprised Mordin's loyalty quest(as a Paragon Shep) hasn't been mentioned it, I nearly cried when he was trying to justify his actions standing over the female krogan on the lab table
Yea... that was really crazy. He was about as frantic as he gets right then, scrambling at bullet-speed to rationalize it.

There's a section at the end, where the platforms are shifting, and Grunt was falling, and I didnt know if I would save him...I was on the edge of my seat, literally... it was pretty nuts
It was Miranda for me, and she's my LI. I was kinda silently freaking out.
Same here.

Doing his loyalty quest cemented him as one of my favourites from ME2. Just when you think he's a cold, logical scientist he utters the words "Such a waste" with anguish when he's stood over the female Krogans body. The following conversation really flips your idea of him, that was a 'wow' moment for me.

I'd prolly say the beginning of the damn game. Watching as your suit springs a leak and fall into orbit was prolly the most depressing start of a game I've ever witnessed.
I have to say, that probably hurt like hell.

I wanted to kill Miranda and Grunt for them being Aliens or "Cerberus ****es" and take Ash back to the Normandy.
I wish you could have done just that. TIM- Illusive, Manipulating, Simply Mean, But he gets the job done. He brought you to Horizon to try and force you to break up with Ash, and he even says that.
But the worst part is that the Council thinks that Shepard is insane....and the Alliance does not want you back.

I was thinking about how Garrus is my Shepard's oldest living friend at that point in the game. He met Tali after he met Garrus (and wasn't quite as close with her), and Kaidan was pissed at my Shepard for working with Cerberus.
Seeing Garrus die in such a...I mean he'd done his job right and everything
I lost Garrus and Legion, and I feel like I may have lost another but I'm not positive.
Legion, even though I liked him a lot...Sentient or not, I didn't feel bad. He got dragged away by the seeker swarm. He was one of my most powerful squadmates, but I didn't feel that bad when he got dragged away. Thank God Grunt didn't get dragged away, I would have been a wreck haha.
But yeah. My most emotional moment, losing Garrus. By far.
Seeing Jack lead me through her old cell and talk about each object/blood splatter was also a really emotional moment...And everything involving Jacob! I was thrilled when he turned out to be as reliable as I had hoped.

Finding Tali's father.
This, and the letter from the slave girl in ME 1 is a distant second.

This might come off as kind of lame, but...Garrus was my tech specialist. He was helping me close the door, and as we were doing so he got hit in the face, and died immediately.

Not lame. That right there...my heart aches for you. (Depending on who you are, I guess that makes ME lame: Deeply sympathizing with a stranger over the internet about some character who isn't even real...but that's so sad.)

The Volus saying "fear me human, I am a biotic god!!!"
That was the funniest thing ever.
My fave moment was when Liara finally told Shepard why she's angry at the Shadow Broker. Liara's the best!
Oh, and Miranda's loyalty mission was also moving, for the Paragon. I didn't play it Renegade so I don't know.
