Miranda watching her sister with her family. And thinking how she doesn't have any of that, then started to cry.

For me one of the most emotional moments in the game was a conversation i had with Tali in engineering.

Her response was something like this.....

Tali:  You saved the colony on Ferros two years ago.  I watched your face as Chief Williams died on Virmire.  I watched as you stood strong against everything the galaxy threw at you.  I've watched you for so long, and I never imagined you would see past ... ((touches helmet)) this.

Yea.... this part (esspecialy the part when she touches her mask) made me choke....and I'm a guy ... lol

I mean, I did'nt cry or anything.... but i did that whole choke thing... ya know.... like when your trying to act tough and macho by not getting all sappy.  and it's worst when your by youself. lol

Yea thats right...  I'm a big sissy ....  I'll admit it.

Oh well... nothing wrong with being a softy i guess. lol B)

Tali was killed in my first play-through. I cried. Damn. "Just a game" my a**.

Same thing here. I had her leading the diversion team. When she walked through that door and was clutching her stomach, my heart just sank. "Too many holes... in my suit..."

By far the saddest moment iv ever had in a video game. I finished the mission, but it seemed to have such a dampener on it because she was dead. It sounds pretty stupid, but I didnt think I could care about a game character that much.

there were so many it's too hard to pick just one, i can't even remember which one affected me most. if i had to choose though, probably hearing the endgame music up until the point where it became different than the music from the first game's end, always gives me chills

When you try to court Samara. I think you need high paragon, finish the game, blow up the collector base.

She pretty much just says yes but then at the last second (she even starts glowing) she jerks away and you capture a glimpse of her regret of morinth, and feels that being a justicar is her punishment/redemption...then sad music plays and she walks out of the room.

and you're just alone in the room...staring into a void...of nothing...........

Overall it was a very emotional experience. I felt that the romantic scene with Thane before the final mission is kind of sad. I won't go into any details as to not spoil it for anyone, but it was just... sad. (before the hot inter-species sex, of course)

What slave? I don't remember that part in ME1. I have terrible memory, and I'm sure I did every mission possible.

Can someone refresh my memory?

first off the destruction of the normandy, had goosebumps, then the crash site, tali learning what her father was doing, mordin second guessing himself thinking about the suffering he had caused, didn't like Mordin until that point, then I loved him, Grunt joining clan urdnot and coming into his own, Legion dying, seeing mordin almost die after the final boss, and finally telling TIM to shove it

This. I actually never really thought of Tali as an LI until her Loyalty mission, and then when it came up and this conversation happened I pretty much went "Bye, Ash." I'd planned on staying loyal, but Tali surprised me in this game.

Then she wound up getting a missle to the face during the suicide mission. I stared at my tv for about five minutes.
Another pretty harsh moment is watching Kelly Chambers get juiced. I was like, "No, Moneypenny cannot die!"

Ash on Horizon. One of my favorite characters, Actually, No, My favorite character from Mass Effect. Wow, So powerful. I wanted to get up and go kill TIM right then and there, and apologize to Anderson for being a dick because he would'nt let me talk to the Council.

I wish you could have done just that. TIM- Illusive, Manipulating, Simply Mean, But he gets the job done. He brought you to Horizon to try and force you to break up with Ash, and he even says that.
.

Glad I wasn't the only one that wanted to put a bullet in TIM for that, and I am usually the calm guy.

I lost Tali and Garrus on my first play-through, you can image how that felt, to loose two old friends

Destruction of the normandy, normandy crash site, seeing Ash, Tali looseing her father, Miranda seeing her sister, The assri crying about her children, Thane's memories, Garrus getting hit by the gunship, loosing Garrus to the swarm and Tali to a gunshot, before going through the omega 4 relay shepard looking at the picture of Ash.

Tali finding her dad and the embrace that follows, as everyone has said.
Also, one line that Tali has on her quest that stuck with me was after the trial, and you tell her that she deserved better, she replies:

"I got better Shepherd... I got you."

The way the line is delivered is so genuine, it really struck me.
Liz Sroka is awesome, can you win an Academy Award or a Golden Globe or something for video game acting?  Cuz' she is f-ing unbelievable.

While the hug interupt is certainly worth mentioning, there's also that one vid log of a Quarian's message to her son/daughter. "Mommy loves you!" moments before getting blasted.

Ouch.

Oh man, yeah... that little video clip made me kind of upset.

Also... the Asari rep for that company, who gets all upset about losing her kids... that was rough.  Especially since I knew exactly who she was talking about.  Saphyria was the Asari who worked at the embassy, and Nelyna was the consort's greeter.  Sad :(

I actually got pumped after watching that, Pumped with REVENGE! I slaughtered the geth with my Anti Matter Sniper rifle  at point blank range in the head

Thane's perfect memory moments are done well I think. I never felt bad about doing anything in a game until I smacked mouse around and Thane has his memory flash afterwards... I felt like such a dick. And shepherds "charge" when talking to the drugged up volus. Best delivered line in the whole game.
