Most of the Tali stuff was engaing, though they spent far too much time with the whole "oh I'll get sick" if you romance her.  Aside from that I was pretty indifferent to most of the stuff that happened.

Mostly like the first hour of the game.



- The intro, of course, sacrificing yourself to save Joker's life. (You broke my ship. MY SHIP. SOMEONE IS GOING TO GET PUNCHED FOR THIS.)



- We can rebuild him. We have the technology.



- The end of the first mission, where Joker is re-introduced, and you see the Normandy SR2. It's good to be home. **** yes. Suddenly I don't hate cerberus anymore. Lets go kill some alien.



- And socking that reporter again. God that feels good.

Playing as Joker, 'knowing' that one wrong step and CRACK, very dramatic. It was a combination of worrying about my crew as they were being taken away, Joker just trying to survive, and raging as Shepard when he got back to the ship. I was so enraged at the collectors, I wanted to obliterate them. They took Kelly and the Doc. YOU TOOK KIND Doc Chawkwas! YOU WILL PAY!

Oh, wow, that makes it even more personal.  

So, most emotional moments for me? 

- Hugging Tali after she finds her dead father.
- The video log of the female Quarian scientist leaving last words for her family.
- Kelly getting pulped, because in my first try at the final mission I lingered doing too much stuff before going through the relay. Truly a horrifying moment.

I guess I should qualify that all as the "moments which got me most choked up".

As for the positive incredible moments, the whole Tali romance, Mordin singing, the whole reveal of that "human reaper" in the Collector base.

I felt the Brandy scene with Chakwas was the most touching moment in the game. Pity you don't have the option to hear her talk as much as Joker.
Asari pureblood on Illium was rather well done too.

Exploring the Normandy crash site was pretty emotional for me. Seeing her majestic form destroyed and half buried damn near had me in tears, the flashbacks just made everything hit home

That intro!!! Oh my goodness, that intro!! Listening to your breathing while you get spaced into nothingness and start entering the planet's atmosphere.



Kaidan showing up in the Horizon, the hug and the speech. And looking at the conversation wheel and seeing the "Don't go, join me" It broke my heart!

Thane and his son's reunion was pretty emotionally intense for me. It was very well done.

Wow, too many to name. I think the most was walking through the Normandy as it was going down. I spent so much time on that ship and to see it getting destroyed was crushing. I also thought a touching part was when Joker shows you the new Normandy. I couldn't help but smile. Also, the paragon hug with Tali, no one should find their father like that. And the whole Tali romance was great. Of course the suicide mission when I lost Legion. That whole mission was intense and emotional. Although most of what I was thinking was Tali can't die so she stayed with me with every fight. Then I thought Thane died after we killed the human-reaper. I was like oh HELL no! haha Like I said, there are so many emotional moments in the game. Those are some of mine I think are the most emotional.

The last scene in Thane's loyalty mission (after Paragon interrupt) and the last scene in his romance.

1. Thane's Loyalty mission with his son. The regret of a father with the pain of the son.



2. Garrus getting blasted from that gunship. I thought he died.



3. First encounter with Liara.



4. Tali's Loyalty mission and the death of her father.



5. The Suicide Mission. I was shaking in the beginning because I had no idea what to expect.



6. The Romance Scene where you stayed loyal to Liara. The sense that you would not be able to see her again. Staring at the picture frame.



7. The Final Cutscene: The reaper invasion is coming. Holy S#%$!

This was mine as well.

Really anything to do with Tali. With no facial features to rely on, she had to do all emotion with her voice. And you could feel how much she cared for you from the moment she first realized you were still alive. Even hearing her logs on the recruiting mission made you feel how much she cared about you and wished you were there to share discoveries with her.

She tugged at my heartstrings in ways that no one else from ME1 ever did.

There were lots for me. In the final mission I just watched Thane die, and then I see Garrus get s.h.o.t, He gets up and shrugs it off but I almost had a heart attack ...
