Paraphrased from the end of Tali's Trial...
I'd just managed to get her a not guilty verdict, without ruining her father's reputation.
Was talking to her about the way the judges treated her, and then...

Shepard: You deserve better than that.
Tali: I got better, Shepard. I got you.

This was mine as well.

Really anything to do with Tali. With no facial features to rely on, she had to do all emotion with her voice. And you could feel how much she cared for you from the moment she first realized you were still alive. Even hearing her logs on the recruiting mission made you feel how much she cared about you and wished you were there to share discoveries with her.

She tugged at my heartstrings in ways that no one else from ME1 ever did.

You summed that up perfectly my friend.  B)

I left a post earlier in this thread on page four about a conversation in engineering i had with Tali.  VERY emotional. :)

For me it was the entire end battle, just trying to keep everyone alive was intense, too much of that and i probably would have had a stroke, then theres a part where miranda says something like "shepard you have to see this" my heart sunk and im thinking "S#%* who died".

Tali's entire love subplot. I almost started to tear up.

And that racist asari on Illium who broke down in tears really got me.

Altrhough the vast majority of Tali's moments had me choking up (One on the verge of tears... So what? It was an emotinoal moment!), when Garrus slid off the platform and I thought he wasn't going to make it, I almost leapt out of my seat. Good thing Shepard caught him though.

So true. They really had to make her voice and body language convincing, and they succeeded. Hopefully she doesn't crap out of the game as a character as Ashley/Kaidan and Liara did. I want her in my squad forever!

When I gave Tali a hug because her father died in her loyalty mission.
I actually cracked a tear. Image IPB

This right here....I actually needed to be consoled after that one. I just wish Tali was a femshep romance...

Same, and when she said "I'm scared" it made my heart break :crying:

Also I found meeting Liara for the first time in 2 years to be pretty emotinal. I can imagine my femShep feeling hurt and confused to have her awkwardly turn away before she could go in for another kiss.

Hmm...apart from that the only other thing that comes to mind is Samara's entire loyalty mission. I can't imagine how hard and upsetting that must be for her to know she has to kill one of her daughters for what she is.

The most emotional moments for me are those involving my ME 1 squadmates. For some reason I feel I've invested much more in them as opposed to most of the ME 2 characters. I honestly think I've spent alot less time with the ME 2 characters, on missions and talking, than I did with the few in ME 1. I might get around to writing my very long opinion on this matter but staying on topic here.

Probably being there to see what Liara had turned into (NOT literally, though I'd have to read the rest of the comics to gain insight, afaik its the drell what done it!) and the cold shoulder from a certain someone on Horizon.

Meeting Wrex again was great, because there was still such friendship and respect there. And that's just the ones that aren't on your team this time.

I played paragon all the way but I let Garrus have his revenge because it just felt so personal for him, I didn't want to deal with taking that away from him.

Tali, I just did what I could for her really. Paragon argument for her case at the end, not revealing anything about Rael's work. Then getting the snide message from the (I foresee her to be) evil**** Admiral Xen.

And a few others but really, the old crew's moments really stand out for me.

I'm going to add one that I have not seen mentioned.

Using the Cain for the first time against two giant mechs. I shot at one of them, hoping to take down it's shields so I can start wittling it down.

There was terrible silence.

There was a terrible noise...

... and then there was light.

After I blinked away the afterimage, not a sliver of metal remained. I was very emotional for a while after that... at least until I figured out you needed 100% charge to fire it again :(

There are too many to point out a single one. I had a major wtf moment when I found out the sniper on the collector ship was a "GETH!" wtf was he doing? It's a geth! do you activate him? SHOULD I? WTF! I still find it kind of hard to deal with, finding out I'm personally some what prejudiced toward geth from ME1.

Keep in mind I found this out soon after doing Tali's loyalty mission.

Two most emotional moments for me where all of Tali's scene you could really feel that she loved you from ME1 and missed you a lot. Also Miranda and romancing her, you found out that she is not such a ice queen and that she has a lot of emotional issues from her father, also if you take her with you in the last fight you get to see her tell the Illusive Man off and that she quits. I was like holy s***, Miss Cerberus just told the boss to go F himself,, you go girl.

Most emotional moment was watching the entire crew die, and then commander shepard die again. That was really sad. (I youtubed it. I don't want to put myself through that lol)

Mine was the Collectors attacking Normandy 2. The bit where Kelly is dragged off. The VA just absolutely nails a horrified scream. To say nothing of the fact that Kelly was a character I really liked; no mental issues like half the crew and one you got to know well over the playthrough. The final nail was EDI going "They're gone Jeff, The collectors took them" Suffice to say after that I went through the relay ASAP. The crew in this game really came into their own, the engineers Ken and Gabby I wanted to get back as soon as possible too. They were awesome.

Yea, I had to let her go because she knew shepard's resurrection hurt her and opened her wounds.

The way Kaidan looks at Shepard right before he hugs her, and the hug. *sigh* I got teary eyed.

The platform scene(Thane for me) when he's falling off the edge was different, it was a freaked-out emotion like, "DEAR GOD CATCH HIM."

Shepard's intimidate on the Quarian admiralty board. Most potent case of righteous Shep rage ever.

Jack's subplot was pretty good emotional wise.

I'd say it's a tie between that, or the opening.

Don't know why everyone think everything involving Tali where super emotional because I sure didn't.
