I can't take screenshots. I have  remaped the key several times and it simply doesn't work.

Tips?

After you press your screenshot button, have you pressed escape and gone to Player profile? If you look there will be a tab for screenshots. You can specify if you want all of em, the ones the game takes, or the ones you made yourself.

There's no user's screenshot on my player profile. Strange isn't it?

I had that problem too, I solved it by simply remapping printscreen to another key.

After ya Print Screen, have ya tried opening up Paint or similar program & 'Paste'ing it in to see if the Screenshot comes up? Or is this in-game? It seems like sometimes Print Screen only takes the Screenshot to the Clipboard.

I looked for the screenshots I took in the player menu and in the files (My Doc./Bioware/DragonAge...) and didn't find.

Guys, when you take screenshots on your game there's any kind of warning ("picture taken or something like that)? Because I've not seen anyone.

Ahh, so ya meant in-game? Those are supposed to auto-download to a pre-made Screenshot Folder in your Albums. I've heard of loads of other people having buggage & problems with this as well. This, I don't know how to solve. My apologies.

My screenshots don't work for any freakin' BioWare games ever.

They used to. But they broke it somehow and just swept it under the rug.

I still didn't try the "ctrl + v" solution. I'll post it here if it works.

Oh, I thought of another thing. I've recently learned how to screen shot my Desktop by hitting 'Alt + Print Screen'. I'm on XP till I get my new puder done.I dunno if this command is universal. Maybe this command isn't standardized. I learned this command on the Windows Help & Support Center. (The 1st time in it's entire service it's ever been useful for anything more than that Network Connection Scan thing.)



Try going into the Windows Help & Support Center & type 'Print Screen' into it's Search function & see if it leads to an article specifying a button command for screen printing & test it on your Desktop. Then go into Paint or similar program, & 'Paste' & see if a Pic shows up outta nowhere. If so, try this same procedure in-game. Worth a try.

WOOT! I tried your Alt+PrintScreen and it WORKED! thanks!

However, when I do this, the img is very distorted. Any way to do this so it works properly and the screens are uploaded directly into my Profile in game?

I know you said that you have tried to remap your keys several times. I was having the same problem, and the alt plus print screen wasn't working for me. So I remapped the print screen to the enter key.Try that. Hopefully it will work for you!

I've studing a lot, so I haven't played on the last weeks. My test is tomorrow, so I'll return to the game as soon as I can.

Hey guys,



I've tried nearly everything, been to a million sites looking for answers. I have tried remapping the key to something else, tried alt + prntscr, tried pasting it in paint. Nothing. Although I got very close with the alt + prntscr. I was able to use that, then paste into paint (because there are still no files in my user screen shot folder) and i got just a black picture. Close, but not quite there. Anyone have any more ideas? I'm so close!

Have you tried FRAPS neat little download that will let you do movies while you play by hitting F9 or screenshots by hitting F10 hmm 1 button vs 3-4 works great for me
