I'm going to do it on one play-through. I'm not sure if I'll do it on the first play through.
I don't know how they handle the Reaver specialization in this game. If it's some evil deal that forces me to make evil decisions in game, I'll probably skip Reaver. If that's the case I may just run with this group:
Two-Bull the two-handed weapon wielding Berserker/Champion
Shale the whatever Shales first specializtion is/Champion
Leilana the Bard/Ranger
Wynne the Shapeshifter/Spirit Healer
My question is this. If you have three people in their group and you pop "buffs" at the same time, will they all stack? If so, you could do some serious damage with all the bonuses to hit. I just want to see how much damage a guy can do, when he's super high strength, swinging a giant hammer, and buffed by three different party members.
That brings up my other question? Does a champion or bard's buffs apply to everyone in the party, including themselves. Or do their buffs only affect the other members of the party?
So I'm seriously considering having three buffers in my group...

I don't know about stacking, but I believe it's possible to play a good reaver. Reaver and blood mage require that you make a pact with some sort of demon but it's entirely possible to play a person who makes a pact and then immediately regrets it and champions off across the land, trying to redeem himself or something. :3

That's what I'm hoping as well, Demonic powers, with good character. Use the Demons for the cause of good.
