I would expect BW to fix what has already been released BEFORE adding more content. It just simply does not make sense to create more DLC and a retail expansion before fixing the core product (day one DLC aside). I can understand fixing the achievements first simply because it is probably an easier fix, but why are they just getting to it now, month's after release? Fix the dex bug, fix the save/vender glitch, fix everything so it is as intended on release day THEN give us more fun stuff to play with.
Why would you upgrade your car stereo (READ: DLC) if the damn car has a leaky tire that could blow any minute (READ: vender/save glitch) and the transmission is stuck (READ: DEX bug)?
1. Bug is fixed as of 1.02.
2. People who work on fixing bugs are not the same as the people who work on new content.
In summary stop whining about bugs that have already been fixed, and stop making assumptions about how software should be developed when you know nothing about software developement.
Two questions:
1. Was this ever an issue for the 360 version? If not, I appologize for my post as it pertains to the DEX bug.
2. As far as I know there has not been a "patch" (READ: title update) for the 360 version with the exception of the bad title update that was released and then pulled on January 13th. Is this true?
And in responce to your point #2:
I am fully aware there are teams who work on different aspects of the game/games. There's a patch team, DLC team, DA:O team, ME2 team, Xbox team, PS3 team, PC team, etc. So I understand that new DLC and/or games doesn't take away resourse for patches and bug fixes. A subject I never brought up in my original post. So I'm not sure why you're bring it up now. However, doesn't it still make sense to fix what is broken before adding more content? Doesn't adding more content compound the problem for the patch team beacuse now they have X amount of additional content/code to work with and test the patch against?
Lastly, since I didn't see the BioWare icon on your post I'm going to assume you don't work for BioWare either and therefore you're making just as many assumptions about how BioWare does/should do things. These are my opinions and your summery isn't going to make me STFU. If your ego demands you come down on me for my opinion and whine about my whining, then so be it. Am I to assume you work in software developement and that this somehow gives you the advanced knowledge nessesary to comment on this forum and make the baseless claim that I should STFU because I must not work in software developement? Even if all that were true, you do not work for Bioware, so it makes your comments no more important than mine or anyone else. I thank you for the info on patch 1.02 and the info about teams, but your summary you can shuve up your ass. It was enough to address my concern's. There's no reason to belittle me or anyone else in the process.
