I prefer the feelling of love between equals I get in romancing Miranda and I'd be very disapointed if I weren't able to pursue my relationship with her in ME3. Besides, she's an awesome squad mate. Her Overload, Warp and class bonus are great. Her Warp is particularly useful against Harbinger.

I think we're vocal and there are a ton of us.

IMO, whatever love between Tali and Shepard may exist would be largely platonic. I don't see the obsession with seeing her face. It could be very intense love, but if I was Shepard and loved Tali I wouldn't risk her unless medical technology had advanced to the point where her immune system could be acclimated to normal standards.

I must be living in a different world because I didn't get that vibe from Miranda or Jack at all. I did get that vibe from Tali. Infact, Kelly will specifically mention that Tali wants to jump your bones(okay, thats a bit of an exaggeration) right after you recruit her. So even Kelly got that vibe from Tali.

Tali tells Shepard she likes him. You have the option to turn her down or pursue her.

Jack doesn't like Shepard. You have the option to tell her you want to **** her or that you care about her.

I for one wasn't too into Tail before but after talking with her last playthrough (LI was Jack last playthrough) she seems more interesting and more likely a choice for my Paragon. I was actually think which LI I should keep for ME3 and I'm having a hard time because they are all so interesting.

(points to her mask/helmet)" Thats probably why people like Tali so much, and why I prefer her as a LI in ME2, because they can see past all that she is because underneath is the only genuinely nice person whom I could trust... Just don't tell my wife

I was browsing through some of the polls and an astonishing number of people seem to prefer tali as a squad mate and LI. Someone fill me in. What am I missing? Of all of the options, what sets her apart? Imo, if you wanted looks, you would go for miranda. Jack had the most interesting back story, I thought. I dont like Ash at all. Miranda looks really weird, her face looks really underdeveloped, reminded me of someone suffering from down syndrome actually, I just did not find her attractive at all, I found looking at her somewhat disturbing actually. Kelly is just a fling. Tali has alot of personality and shes a returning character who seems much more developed. liara scares the crap out of me now and I killed Ashley because I couldn't tolerate her past Virmire (I REALLY tried to choke it all down, but her personality+her horse like face I just couldn't.



Tali is the obvious choice if I had to choose imo.

No, she isn't God's gift to ME. A lot of us just like her. I'm still a Liara fan, but BioWare changed her and I struggle to her as much as I used to.

To synthesize it, she's more believable than some of the other characters... aside from being a Quarian, and all.

I like Tali mainly because of how much she has changed in the first game. She started out as this weak, talkative, young girl who looked to please Shepherd in any way possible. IN ME2, she still has a little bit of that, but you know she has been through a lot since the first game. Now she is a bit more mature and a bit colder.

It is hard not to like someone who has been with you since the first game, and is loyal enough to come and help even after all the changes both of you have been through. Compared to Ashley and Kaiden, Tali is the best character from the first game. I mean even after everything, she is still on your side. Where are the other two? Pouting over the fact that you are working for cerberus. At least Liara and Wrex have a reason to not come back.

So there you go. Her loyalty, her progression as a person, and the fact that Kaiden and Ashley ****** me off, are the reasons that I like Tali so much.

Plus, she hates Cerberus to begin with, but she'll still work with you.  She finished her mission on Haestrom, an important one where she studied the rapidly aging star, lost all of her squad(except for one, depending on your choices), tied up the job and still joined you.  Ash didn't even have that much of a job on harvest, all she was there to do was make sure the planetary guns got installed.  She didn't even have that much reason to be pissed at me, especially after I saved her.  At least Tali was grateful.

Tali is a great person, plus she's from the first game, and it's only natural to move from good friend to dating in the sequel.  She's really cute and shows innocence, but doesn't take any crap at the same time.  She's really caring for others and wants to make you happy, even at her own expense.  She's also got a really cute voice.  Hell, she's even got style.  Her suit looks awesome.
Miranda is hot.  There's no getting past that.  However, under the veil wasn't really my kind of woman.

She has a very strong character development since she was in ME1. Thus, we already have a preexisting relationship with her - and she is sweet and kind, but also tough enough to hold her own on the difficult quest you are on. It's not hard to see why so many people like her.

Liara > Kelly > ME2 Love interests > Garrus > Ashely Williams from ME1.
