I made her my LI just because I wanted to see what was under that damn helmet. I was disappoint.



I'll go for Jack with my second playthrough.

out of all the mass effect characters, Tali is really the one that sticks out in my mind that both has one of the most emotionally invoking storylines/dialogue and is a carry over from the last game so already had a idea of what her character was before.



in ME1, you had Liara or Ashley. in dealing with Liara, i didn't really feel connected emotionally to the character even though she is more akin to being in my field of expertise (im a history major and anthropology minor in college right now). the same was more true with Ashely, at this point however, Tali started to crop up in my head as a possibility (the combo of personality, accent, and shape really bring this character to life).but then again, she's stuck in that stupid suit...



in ME2, we have Jack and Marinda. Jack (which is basically Carrie thrown into the Mass Effect universe) provoked a bit of a parent/big brother aspect in me in treating her like a hurt kid. i did have an emotional attachment to Jack but it was just in a different way that the game was set up for.



Miranda was attractive but reminded me of a corporate jockey and the closest emotional attachment to her was "just be friends"



however, Tali had the same emotional concoction that i liked in the first game (and evolved a bit but not to the point of Liara) and her story line deepened the emotional connection i that had with her. at the end of the game, i had to end up telling my self that i was romancing a character and not a person.



all and all, i like tali and hope to see her continuing to play a major role in the next game.

and that drone she has is ****ing awesome because it pulls hate, I dunno how many time I've killed enemies because they where too busy looking at the drone and shooting at it, or it stopped enemies from shooting me because they where more interested in shooting it. Also it goes around cover to attack enemies. Also she can hack enemy Synthetics so they work for you. I hard her and Legion with me at all times, the enemies where too busy shooting each other and attack drones, while I just mowed them done.

Yeah I was an Infiltrator with the heavy disruptor rounds on my SMG and I had Tali and Legion with me for the Legion loyalty mission. The amount of devastation we inflicted was NOT funny.

She's adorable .. I don't care about her face.



Miranda just look too much ****ty..That remind me of those ****ly girl in college.

Jack she's ..weird.

I think its personality. I had her as a LI and squad companion. People "love" her because she has a personality that they (myself included) want to have in a girl. Shy, cute, passionate and fiercely loyal. People admire those traits in real people, so they latch on to it in a video game a lot more.

Simple reason; she reminds me of my girlfriend (minus the suit, shotgun and combat drone, I wouldn't mind, however, if my girlfriend decided to invest in a combat drone...hmm, I should bring that up).

This, and she is also the geeky shy girl type that a lot of guys (and gals) like.  She is confident, but not overly so.  Intelligent, but non threatening.  Supportive, but not overly needy.  Basically the Geek Goddess type.

Tali is intelligent, selfless, innocent, and practically worships Shepard. What's not to like?

Lol you mad? She's as close to a robot as any of the other love interests. She's lived her entire life in a suit, not too mention she has no immunities. Calm down, it's a video game. Also we've never seen her face or anyone of her races face, so how do u know she isn't a robot?

....Because they reproduce? Because they eat and share the same amino-acid make up with Turians? because she removes her mask and does the nasty with Shepard? because it says so in the codex, and is explained in the game?
