I've cleared the game and only now saw I got a code for DLC in the game case so I downloaded both DLCs but how do I see wether or not they are in my new game that I just started? Do I have to do something after I downloaded them? I rather not play through the game without the DLC so before I start I'd like to know if they are in the game or not .

Also, do I need to stay on xbox live in order to play the DLC? I only got one network cable

they will be there. as soon as you meet the illusive man you will see them in the quest logs. and no you shouldnt need to be online to play dlc.
