if possible, it would be helpful if we had a multiquoting function.

You can already add as many quotes as you like in the forums - were you hoping for something more automatic?

I'm guessing he means the multiquoting functionality of vBulletin (and phpBB3?) where you select text and click the multiquote button, and the selected text is copied (with appropriate quote tags) to the quick reply form.
