How can she be the best when Tali is already the best?

I completely agree... I hate everyother female character so far... but Tali is just incredible <3. Plus Quarians are the coolest race anyway. She better be in your squad still in the third one or I'll be really pissed.

Another one who's so obsessed with Tali he doesn't even try to know the others. I found Miranda and Jack to be much more interesting characters (and useful as squadmates, especially Miranda) than Tali.

I still think tali is better, she just appeals to me more. They're all different, but a violent bald woman aint my thing, and miranda just seems to have so much baggage.

I preferred Pressley as my XO, hell I preffered the old normandy, it just seemed busier, like it had a purpose and everyone seemed to be doing something. Also the briefing room and engineering and cargo bay areas were much better.

Sry, but after talking to her, Tali, and Jack I found Tali to be the best out of the three( for me anyway.)

I like Miranda. I haven't picked up Tali yet in my game but I thought she was a great character in the first game. But yeah I have done Miranda's loyalty mission, I think shes a great character with a few surprises.

My biggest gripe with Miranda is that she is hideously ugly. Nice body, but her face looks like it has been hit with a shovel.

No.

Also FemShep is the best.

I dont find it believable a woman can save the universe.

My female paragon vanguard Shepard is the only one i accept as "canon" :D Well, possibly my female neutral Infiltrator too. They save the universe and look good doing it. And sound good too. I think the femshep VA did a better job than the male one, or maybe as a man i simply like a female voice more.

As for Miranda, i expected another Morrigan, but she's is actually likeable. Was that skin-tight clothing absolutely necessary? Not that i'm complaining :o (Morale boost +30% for males?)

Her face just somehow looks strange..

Oh also Jack wins worst female character ever.

Now you're pushing it. Why don't you try paragon romancing Jack to see which LI has the best romance

I quite like Miranda's basic character set up, but I think she has a lot of untapped potential (no pun intended), and hope we get to see some more of her post-thawing-of-the-ice-queen in a future expansion or ME3 - and not in a "we'll write this character to be so unpleasant you won't want to romance her any longer" kind of way, either...

Miranda is an interesting character, I'm ambiguous to her mostly. She's definitely got the ice queen personality going and her past is pretty interesting but it just doesn't seem to measure up in my book between the three. Out of the 3 LI of Male Shep I'd rank Tali > Jack > Miranda.

Tali seems right coming from a ME1 character as she had been through a lot with Shepard and the emotion in her acting when interacting with Shep is amazing. She's definitely shown the change in maturity from ME1 now that she's 24. I was a bit of a Tali fan before but it just got stronger as the game went on and gave more story for her. Anyone who's willing to risk their life to just have a night with Shep is a winner in my book. Overall Interesting character with killer voice acting/script. Very fun commentary when she's in your party and endearing.

Jack is a beautifully done character who makes a player want to get to know/get closer with her. I had a tough time on planning what I wanted my 'official' romance to be as Jack was that well done. She's ruthless, vulnerable, and looking for her place in the world. She changes the most out of the three and it gives a great effect. Haven't finished the game that has her set as the romance but I'm looking forward to seeing it.

Ashley (ME1 LI in my case honestly did like her in that game as it progressed) Can go jump out an airlock compared to these two. Wondering how bad in ME3 she's going to beat me for dumping her.

Especially when she asks Shepard to do her loyalty quest. The way the camera fixes on her ass, while you pick your choice, makes it almost impossible to say "No".

Makes it almost impossible to make a choice...<3

I actually enjoy Miranda's character quite a lot. You get the whole serious business lady attitude at the start but once she opens up, she's actually a good person. While she does work for Cerberus, she believes in the good that it can do, and in it's ability to act quickly and effectively when presented a problem. When you do her loyalty mission you get to see the more human side to her as well. I really enjoyed her "I'm supposed to be perfect, so that's what people expect of me, but I'm human and make mistakes too" speech, it seemed heartfelt and something that my Shepard could relate to.

Also, compare her to Ashley from ME1 (the only other human female squad member we can compare her to) and she's better by leaps and bounds. Ashley was horribly racist (speciesest?) and wasn't shy about it either. Miranda on the other hand works for the human pushing extremist group, but is much more open about accepting your alien squadmates.

To the OP. Not even.

She was interesting when I got to talk to her and do her mission. I felt bad for her and started to like her more. Best female in any game? I laugh.

My first playthrough I picked Miranda as my love interest as a renegade shepherd. She's cold, skeptical, self-absorbed seemed like the right choice for a badass. She does have a great arse and other parts of her body dont demand any change ...based on Yvonne Stachowski...makes you wonder ;) Personally I wanna find out how to survive mating with Morinth

It's not racism, not really. If you were out hunting and a bear attacked you, wouldn't you sic your dog on it to save yourself?

As far as looks, Miranda has got to be one of the ugliest Bioware female characters (yeah, she has a great ass, but when was the last time Bioware made a fat female party member? They all have great asses, yes?). I much preferred Jack, and of course Tali is a sweetheart.

Miranda is certainly better than Ashley. She doesn't recite poetry.

Also, Suze being a good person deep down? Saw it coming from a mile off.

But Miranda doesn't beat Tali.

Looks are the eye of the beholder and so whats ugly to you can differ greatly from person to person. Yet still, what aspect of miranda is ugly exactly you didnt specify. How about personality did you consider miranda from this angle at all?

Obviously I was talking about her face. Her face is really ugly, and fat. If you didn't know better, her face makes her look like she weighs 250 lbs.

As far as personality, I found her to be pretty boring, maybe the most boring of your crew.

That said, on Insanity difficulty her Warp and Overload are really useful, so she is on my squad.

Female Characters that better than Miranda:

Tali vas Normady
FemShep
Samara
Alyx Vance (Half-Life)
Bayonetta (Bayonetta)
Samus Aran (Metroid)
Cortana (Halo)
Zoey (L4D)
Zelda (LoZ)
Midna (LoZ)
Morrigan (DA:O)
Leliana (DA:O)
Lilith (Borderlands)
Captain Dare (Halo 3: ODST)

The list goes on, but I'm bored, so I'm going to stop now.

The only thing interesting about Miranda is that her backstory is eerily similar to the story in Witchblade.

Haha. Tali is related to the "enchantment!" retard in DAO, surely. Engines! Engines! Engines!
