They won't get anything from me until everything is fix, and i get my Blood Dragon Armor.
My DAO box is just getting dust, cause i won't touch it until there is a patch.. I want what i paid for.
Btw, it's really anoying when you have to many creatures on screen and spells, and the game just slows down so ****in much -.-'
And if they take to long to fix all these, i will just sell my PS3 version of the game, and Download a "free" one from the internet to play at my PC

For ref, thats a real quick way to get yourself banned
And why not return your ps version and get the pc version instead? Its vastly better as can be documented in these forums if you have a look about. That way you still get the game
The reason its bad on the ps3 is becasue of porting and cert issues, not really a Bioware issue, Sony demanded it be made for the ps3, take it up with them.

Same here. The game has it's issues but it's fairly enjoyable. The gameplay and plot make all the minor technical details meaningless. Sure, it would be great if it had the same looks and control setup as the PC (the PS3 does allow any usb mouse and keyboard) but all the anger towards BioWare in this thread is a bit out of proportion, IMO.Farahot wrote...
Played through the game, had a great time. I wouldn't go as far as saying the loading times is killing the story. I'm actually starting again to play through the game a second time

What we can do here is clearly state what's running wrong with DAO on our Ps3's (this part is important folks, lotsa love for you PC types, but why in the world are you on this thread posting "Hey, I don't have any problems, nothing wrong here"?!)
So lets remember:

We are looking into the PS3 frame rate issues (Stuttering or short pauses) that have been reported in this thread. Could those who are experiencing these issues please provide some information which will hopefully help us to reproduce these problems on our own machines.
1) Is your game NTSC or PAL?
2) Has anyone noticed these framerate issues when playing on 480p or lower?
3) Did lowering from 720p to 480p make a noticable performacne difference. If so, approximately how noticable was the difference?
4) Does turning off networking options in the Options Menu make a noticable difference?
5) What is your PS3 firmware version. 2.70 is the minimum required/supported version but newer versions may affect performance.
6) How much hard drive space is left on your console?
7) How long after you start playing does it take for the framerate issues to occur or do they occur immediately after a load/new game?
8) Does your tv natively support the options selected on the console for video and sound?
Please keep your response specific to issues with frame rate (stuttering or pauses) during gameplay for this thread.

North American PS3.
I haven't tried the game in 480p or lower because it never occurred to me and even if it were better, I wouldn't play it like that.
Turning off networking options in the menu helps a little bit. A very very little bit, but it's there.
My PS3 is the newest firmware. Is there a way to downgrade and still be able to use PSN? If so, how?
I have about 100 gigs left on my HDD.
Framerate issues are immediate, not delayed. They are area specific, as in, if I don't have issues looking at a specific wall, then I will never have them there.
My tv supports everything required of it.
If there are any other details that might help, let me know.

So.. where did you get the "sony demanded it be made for the PS3" from? Please enlighten.

PAL
2) Has anyone noticed these framerate issues when playing on 480p or lower?
Its definitely better than in a higher resolution
3) Did lowering from 720p to 480p make a noticable performacne difference. If so, approximately how noticable was the difference?
yes, the difference was huge.
4) Does turning off networking options in the Options Menu make a noticable difference?
not really, but completely logging out of the PSN and playing offline makes a difference
5) What is your PS3 firmware version. 2.70 is the minimum required/supported version but newer versions may affect performance.
the newest one
6) How much hard drive space is left on your console?
approx. 170GB
7) How long after you start playing does it take for the framerate issues to occur or do they occur immediately after a load/new game?
they occur from the time i begin to play till the time i quit the game. in certain dungeons, houses and small environments there are no framerate issues, but most of the time there is.
8) Does your tv natively support the options selected on the console for video and sound?
yes

*sigh* There probably spending all of their time working on DLC.
I'm pretty sure different people work on PRC and fixes. So no. DLC might affect when the patches come out, and that will almost certainly affect what fixes go to which patches.

Ditto the above complaints....can anybody say anymore? Are they even working on a fix? It could be worse thou....they may have not even made Dragon Age and just made us play PSN Home AAARRRRGGGGHHHH!!!!
biggest waste of your life rofl. psn home. you can do anything on it you can do in real life using more calories and helping the obesity crisis. LOL argh.
I totally agree with them ignoring us cause they just know the standard procedure and responses which you pay for and can find on the website anyway. Good time to recruit us to piracy........ joking of course.
