Here we discuss what we'd all like to add to our Mass Effect 2 experience. Here's my list:

1- Purchaseable/researcheable gun models: so the shops sell gun mods, but no actual guns? This DLC would add several gun models to the shop's inventory, allowing players with particular weapon specialities to purchase a weapon to suit their playing styles. Vanguards not aware of the location of the Scimitar, for example, would potentially be stuck with the basic shotgun throughout most of the game. This would fix this problem.

2- More weapon variety (MOAR DAKKA): It's pretty much a given bioware will do this. What i do hope is that they'll cover a wide range of weapon statistics and not make a single weapon overwhelmingly better than all the others
(*cough*spectregear*cough*). I'd really like to see:

-an electro-laser assault rifle (high damage against synthetics, stuns organics but otherwise doesn't harm them, doesn't work outside of an atmosphere)
-a semi-automatic carbine (for assault rifles)
-a high capacity shotgun
-a medium range, small spread, low capacity shotgun
-a particle stream shotgun
-a variable charge pistol: hold the trigger, then release. kinda like Kyle Katarn's bryar pistol.
-a precision pistol with a low rate of fire and a 2x scope, and a 5 percent bonus to headshots.
-weapons with a default ammo setting. the ammo powers would grant a bonus to these, or override them entirely. considering their impact on gameplay, they'd be the most expensive to buy/develop.
-an EMP heavy weapon to stun synthetics.

3- Romance sidequests. The characters are interesting and all, but the romances kinda boil down to: "I really like you!" and "I really like you too!" and they really don't impact the story except when you go through the omega relay (although i hear yeoman chambers is an exception). Would be nice if we could, you know, DATE them before we sleep with them? just sayin'...

alright, that's my list. What's yours?

A few things I'd like:
-More armor selections, and tied in would be the ability to hide helmets for the full suits like Blood Dragon Armor, etc.
-Definitely something in the medbay that restores medigel between missions like in the first.
-Returning to the Normandy should refill normal ammo and heavy weapons ammo. As much as I love some of those weapons, the outright rarity of Power Cell containers being the only source of Heavy Weapons ammo really gets irritating.

oh yeah, i forgot:

4- a cybernetics cosmetics suite. for 50000 pieces of platinum, I would want more than just a face lift. How about being able to alter your appearance (i want blue in black cyborg eyes!), or even add implants for gameplay bonuses, like a prosthetic ear that gives you a radar HUD, or eyes that grant you a slight zoom for all your weapons in aim mode?

Cybernetics would be nice, I wouldn't mind some of those Illusive man eyes, or the scars to be blue instead.

We need more armour pieces though. Having only 4 helmets (not including helmetless) to choose from is just dissapointing and limiting. Especially when you fight those mercs with their sweet looking helmet so often, I'd like to see what kind of amrour Cerberus could create, perhaps as a reward for helping their research divisions somehow.

Why not allow all weapons to be purchasable after the end of the game (or have some sort of weapon merchant side mission) at the end of the game i wasn't able to purchase all the gun stuff i wanted either.

 going through line by line...
-an electro-laser assault rifle (high damage against synthetics, stuns organics but otherwise doesn't harm them, doesn't work outside of an atmosphere)
no, thats to complex and useless in certain situations the player may not be aware of. breaks the paradigm of armor,sheild/barrier, and health.
-a semi-automatic carbine (for assault rifles)
no, thats actually one of the sniper rifles.
-a high capacity shotgun
yes, i like this, especialy if its rapid fire
-a medium range, small spread, low capacity shotgun
no, that' breaks the shotgun paradigm
-a particle stream shotgun
interesting concept, but may need some working to get it to fit.
-a variable charge pistol: hold the trigger, then release. kinda like Kyle Katarn's bryar pistol.
yes, I like this
-a precision pistol with a low rate of fire and a 2x scope, and a 5 percent bonus to headshots.
no, its an interesting concept bu i don't think people would use it and it kinda treds on the sniper rifles
-weapons with a default ammo setting. the ammo powers would grant a bonus to these, or override them entirely. considering their impact on gameplay, they'd be the most expensive to buy/develop.
no this could screw game balance up too much
-an EMP heavy weapon to stun synthetics.
why not kill them? this weapon seems useless

i agree that they should expand the romances in some DLC

alright, that's my list. What's yours?

for DLC;

Romance DLC; it would be nice if Bioware extended some of the romances. you know, I've never been on a date with a quarien. a dinner or lunch is out of the question (helmets),movies tend to devolve to you two just watching the movie... hmm it would be interesting. And here is a twist, what do you do if someone starts hitting on your new hubby, or an old friend starts making passes?

Bounty Hunting DLC; the galaxy is full of criminals and credits, there could be some unique combat opportunities having a specter hunt down some dangerous criminals or enemies of the citadel. I needed some extra credits at the end of the game too, and i had no idea how to get them.

Mako/ tank DLC; 3 mission where I get to drive around in a APC with a cannon on top. just make sure I don't have to do any 'rock climbing' in the damn thing. while exploring in the Mako sucked, traveling and the combat in the Mako wasn't that bad.

new weapons

heavy pistol- high power single shot, great vs armor, half damage vs sheilds

smg - lower fire speed, accurate, good against shields, better vs armor (than average smg)

shotgun- auto-shot gun, fast rate of fire but less damage

SAW- i want a squad automatic machine gun, like a assault riffle on steroids.

new class of armor

tech/biotic/scout armor- something that lets you move faster, reduce cooldown/ increase duration but offer less protection. should have 1 alternate leg, chest and shoulders to make up for protection defiencies.(maybe allow the ammo packs (others) from the N7 armor).

heavy armor- armor that actually gives you a an armor bonus that regens very slowly. this armor should slow you down, but also allow some alternates.

* you could combine all the armors into just the N7, but whats the point in that? shouldn't I get some other types of armor I can customize? (if you really want to score lore points or something maybe you should tie them into the different gangs, and have missions about how you get that armor)

there is plenty of variation to every weapon paradigm: Shotguns, for example, do use solid slug ammunition for the sake of precision, or a duck-bill for maximum carnage. A semi automatic carbine is not quite the same as a semi-automatic sniper rifle, being smaller, easier to handle but not quite as powerful. It's the difference between an AR-15 Armalite and a Dragunov, basically.

There's also the non-lethal side of the spectrum.
A weapon with a high chance to incapacitate a particular type of enemy with a single shot (instead of a weapon that kills after several) is a tactical weapon that would allow you to set up some kills for your teammates, or save yourself from a sticky situation. It could be offset by a low ammo capacity or a low accuracy rating, of course.

I would like the cut romances put back in the game (F/F Tali, and M/M Thane).

I would also like to see something connected to Kahlee Sanders and Holdan...

Hammerhead DLC missions with assault courses and uncharted worlds to explore (no climbing mountains though).

Lots of sidequests with interesting combat set-ups and backgrounds (lets say 5 or so per pack similar to the scanning ones in game). No need to have banter or character involvement.

An arena (I would actually enjoy this unlike in ME)

New weapons, helmets, body armour and full body suits as loot. I dont want it to be mailed to me by the Illusive man I want it to be incentives for doing the new quests

More unlockable powers perhaps have 2 bonus powers and increase level cap to 40 (who would love to have a red sand injection ability with inflicted health drains from using the substance).

DLC to go back to old locations. I'd love to go to C-sec or the Presidium. In fact these could be where you get given the new quests. I'd also love to go back to story planets from ME1 for brief sidequests.

I'd like to see class specific armour (available to all classes perhaps but each set favours a certain class). The infiltrator would have light, stealthy armour which aids in cloaking whilst the soldier would have heavy armour which is fully sealed against attacks etc. My absolute most wanted thing is that merc helmet though, maybe we could even have merc/bounty missions like mentioned above. Shepard is the damn best soldier in the galaxy, yet he can't make a few extra creds by killing criminals?

A romance DLC for Valintines day I think would be marketing gold, and with how often I see people say that (I am one as well) I would think Not offering it would be wasting money. Not getting it this year could more be not having time to make it, but next year should if they can :D

They have bars now, and dancing, why cant I take people out on a date, i think Jack dancing would be awesome :D

I think we could do with researchable armour unlocks too. Considering we have a highly advanced ship capable of replicating geth technology, it's odd we can't make armour more advanced than that found on a second hand scrap market.

Free Patch DLC:

1) Ability to visit the reward from ME1's Pinnacle Station if you completed it. They'd just need to import it and maybe clean it up a little. If they added events or functionality or something (LOL tea party), that'd be above and beyond.

Purchasable DLC:

1) A repeatable minigame for making money. Since probes and fuel are consumable, and there's a limited number of places to get money in the game, it's possible (unlikely, though) that you could completely run out of fuel and money.

1b) Alternately, a Spectre mission where upon completion, you can refuel for free.

2) Missions. Longer than the side-missions in ME2, though. As long as the loyalty side-missions might be okay, though. Optimally with voice acting from the original cast, but I understand that might not be possible. I mean, why would I want to buy just extra guns? I can kill people just fine with the guns I have.

3) Extra class. Now THIS would be DLC. Give people a reason to play through the game another time. Though I don't see it happening.

Hmmm...

Some quest or whatever to find out how quarians look.

More armor/weapons (mainly armor, weapons were more or less ok for me, maybe just new skins for them)

New quests. Maybe if BW can twist it in a right way than they can be in very generic looking locations.

- simple get-in/get-out quests

- quests that concern Council

- quests that make us revisit old locations (Ilos?)

A city similar to Illium or Omega, maybe Mars, to take down some Red Sand dealers? I'd love for some more content in Illium or Omega even, or Tuchanka, something involving Wrex.

Pretty much this.

Edit:
Those romances back in the game as a DLC would be great on the "hater" side as well. You don't want it? Don't download it. Simple.

a free update for the thermal clip system:

a hybrid version of ME1 and ME2's heat management systems. Basically, regenerating ammo: Say you run out of heat capacity, you either wait for the heat sink to slowly purge itself or eject it and get back into the fight. It would add a slight resource management element to the combat, and it wouldn't be a slap in the face of the established technological backstory. Ammo regeneration rate could be proportional to the game's difficulty, that is, fast on Casual, slow on Veteran, and non-existant on Insanity.

an additional feature to consider: keep firing your gun without ejecting the oversaturated sink, and you run the risk of it exploding and killing you.

I would really love to see more of Legion. They had to add him late in the game so he didn't screw up the story. I want to know exactly how he got the armor and why he is wearing it. Legion, Legion, Legion and Shepard Commander.

I had that exact same thought, before we knew what ME2's plot for her was. I mean she even said it when you were there, "I hope I have the chance to come back and explore these ruins when we're done with all this".

Absolutely. I paid for the Pinnacle Station DLC and it didn't exactly live up to the expectations you'd have of a BioWare game. I know, that's because it was outsourced, but they could at least make up for that disappointment by including it in ME2. If not the station - with your records still unbeaten - because I don't know if they'd have programmed that stuff into the importable career file, at least the reward apartment like you said.

Absolutely. I'd love to see the Zhu's Hope expansion project I heard about, or get embroiled in some corporate espionage on Noveria. Or check out what's going on with Ilos - funny thing, the Codex was updated with an entry about the Battle Of The Citadel, but the Mu Relay entry still states that it's lost. But we know the Alliance/Council went there after it was all over, because they knew Vigil had shut itself down. Did they keep it's location classified? And what other systems does the Mu Relay connect to? Liara said it was dozens, that's dozens of unexplored systems no one has ever been to. They could create anything in those systems - a new race, a Prothean colony the Reapers missed, a Rachni world (after all, the Rachni did know of the relay when no one else in the galaxy did, including the Krogans that wiped them out).

Heck, even just wandering around the Citadel would be nice. Dr Chloe Michel sent me a message asking me and Garrus to stop by next time I was on the Citadel, I didn't have the heart to tell her I'd forgotten where her clinic was Posted Image

It'd also be cool to have something relating to Kahlee Sanders, since there were so many Ascension references in the game. And speaking of Ascension, maybe something about those quarians they decided to send out on long term missions.
