1) More armor: Including 'full" sets of other types of armor that were also mixable and matchable (like Colossus armor etc.

2) More casual clothing

3) The ability to change weapons AND Armor at weapons racks.

4) Some wave type kill quest of the following:Geth, Collectors, Vorcha.
It would also be nice if they were repeatable, it would give me something to do after the final mission was completed.

5) A new space station or outpost quest that actually had female Salarians, Bactarians,Turians,
Elcor( at the very least give the females a feminine voice) and Volus.

6) The ability to go back to certain locations specifically: Feros, Citidel (Full presidium, the old wards). Ilos.
Especially Ilos, I would love to see that world covered with security and archeologist.

7) A  Mission where you can possibly run into the rachni and they assist you(if you saved them), or if you did not save then someone is cloning rachni and you've got to stop them.

'The Presidium & Wards DLC'

That being, just in case anyone at BioWare has any doubts, "The Full Presidium". Not the "Anderson's Office" Presidium we already have. I mean I can see how you could get the two confused. I bet he has people warping into his office all the time when they actually wanted the Consort.

I think i read that ME: Redemption would tie to DLC, so a big Liara/Shadow Broker Expansion would be Awesome.

Oh and i need that Incisor Sniper Rifle, its the only thing i'm missing :(

Here we discuss what we'd all like to add to our Mass Effect 2 experience. Here's my list:

1- Purchaseable/researcheable gun models: so the shops sell gun mods, but no actual guns? This DLC would add several gun models to the shop's inventory, allowing players with particular weapon specialities to purchase a weapon to suit their playing styles. Vanguards not aware of the location of the Scimitar, for example, would potentially be stuck with the basic shotgun throughout most of the game. This would fix this problem.

2- More weapon variety (MOAR DAKKA): It's pretty much a given bioware will do this. What i do hope is that they'll cover a wide range of weapon statistics and not make a single weapon overwhelmingly better than all the others
(*cough*spectregear*cough*). I'd really like to see:

-an electro-laser assault rifle (high damage against synthetics, stuns organics but otherwise doesn't harm them, doesn't work outside of an atmosphere)
-a semi-automatic carbine (for assault rifles)
-a high capacity shotgun
-a medium range, small spread, low capacity shotgun
-a particle stream shotgun
-a variable charge pistol: hold the trigger, then release. kinda like Kyle Katarn's bryar pistol.
-a precision pistol with a low rate of fire and a 2x scope, and a 5 percent bonus to headshots.
-weapons with a default ammo setting. the ammo powers would grant a bonus to these, or override them entirely. considering their impact on gameplay, they'd be the most expensive to buy/develop.
-an EMP heavy weapon to stun synthetics.

3- Romance sidequests. The characters are interesting and all, but the romances kinda boil down to: "I really like you!" and "I really like you too!" and they really don't impact the story except when you go through the omega relay (although i hear yeoman chambers is an exception). Would be nice if we could, you know, DATE them before we sleep with them? just sayin'...

alright, that's my list. What's yours?

1.) Reconnecting with old squad, specifically Liara/Williams, assuming you didn't cheat. (Post completion)
2.) Renewable source of money. (Post completion)

And I'd like to respond to your third bullet and say yah, Sheperd is really an ass. Never says I love you to anyone before he sleeps with them. And he completely forgets about the love interests from one.

Some very good suggestions in this thread.  I'd like to see:

1. An inventory screen where I can see the stats of all my weapons and armor like rof, damage, upgrades applied, etc.

2. Upgradeable Normandy scanners.  Scanning is tedious during the first playthrough, I'm dreading having to do it all over on my next run.

3. A training simulation room (like a Holodek) on the Normandy that recreates battles you've taken part in during previous missions with selectable loadouts, fighting with different team members or alone.

I'd like to see some patches to update a few things. Just did a mission where a character was levitating, and the other squad member kept running into fire and complaining, and then subsequently dying. Not too impressed with that...

As for content, I'd love to see squad members talking. Yeah sure they are all loyal to me but come on, I can't have two of my all star team in the mess shooting the breeze? Instead I have the same crew members talking in the crew quarters and in the mess, what is their job anyway?

I'd love to get loyalty of other crew members for the Normandy 2. Joker has a backstory, as do Chakwas, Kelly, Gardener and that engineering duo. Maybe even investigate other human colonies that disappeared, or visit one to personally evacuate useless crewman #2's family from New Canton.

Like everyone, new gear is always nice. Patters, pieces, weapons, armor sets. I'd like to see the level cap raised and squad mates get new powers. I found it iritating (though quite ironic and humorous at first) that Tali and a certain other squad mate with which she has some connection are virtually the same, but with a different specialty skill and weapon.

That being said, I'd like to change it up and be able to teach squadmates my powers. If I'm an infiltrator I could teach people to use the sniper rifle, my ammo powers, AI hacking, Cloaking and incinerate.

Why is it only Shepard can score on the Normandy? Why can't Kelly fall for Garrus or Thane? Jacob and Miranda are friends but I never see them talk. All he has to do is stop by a few times in between missions and he can keep Lawson company. I'd like to see relationships blossom for the other characters, and not just Shepard and whoever I choose.

I'd like to see content explaining what the old squadmates were doing. Something like with Liara. You do some missions for her, you talk with her, it's fun. Not a two sentence exchange with Ashley and Anderson. Heck, I'd love to see Wrex's nemesis from ME1, Aleena I think her name was, an Asari bounty hunter or something. If she is on par with Wrex, I don't know why I'm not gunning for her on my team!

Presidium, Wards, Ilos, Noveria, Feros, I miss those places. I loved the Mass Effect universe from the first one, I want to see it again.

I agree with the people that say scanning just get's to be a tedious time sink after (even during) the first playthrough.

Council missions! I'm a spectre back from the dead, and after everything only Anderson believes me about the Reapers again. As frustrating as that is for Shepard (and somewhat for me...) I'd enjoy some of the perks of being Special Tactics and Reconnaissance.

The Nikita missile launcher.

Deployable shields like Collectors and Geth can use.

A volus squad member.

It'd also be cool to have something relating to Kahlee Sanders, since there were so many Ascension references in the game. And speaking of Ascension, maybe something about those quarians they decided to send out on long term missions.

I'm pretty sure one of the side-quests has someone from Ascention. Well, I haven't read the book, but it's implied she's a character from there. Of course, nothing wrong with more novel tie-ins. I'm probably gonna read them all while waiting for ME3. In that respect, I'm glad I haven't read them yet.

Really? Which side-quest is that? I did all the ones listed in the Prima guide and I don't recall any of them featuring anyone like that. Perhaps it's one the guide missed? If you can't remember specifically, then I mean, what was it about?

Well this is a non-spoiler board, so I'll just say that I did a search for the ship mentioned in my E-mail I got after I completed the mission, and it brought up a page from the Mass Effect wiki relating to Ascention. So yes, there is an Ascention-related side-mission in the game. However, the E-mail doesn't say the name of the planet and I honestly don't remember where it was. It's there, though.

I did a search on both of the GameFAQs boards for the name of the ship and someone in the mission, but there were no topics with those words in them. Which isn't surprising because it's a fairly simple mission.

As far as free patches:

2) Fix these character import bugs: http://social.biowar...06/index/831456

-The barber: A late addition to the Normandy's roster, Todd Figaro will alter your hairstyle and coloring throughout the whole game, saving you the trouble of starting up a new character for purely aesthetic reasons :)

This DLC would also add more hairstyles into the game.

-Fell the Tatto Artist: set up in Omega, Fell Dabus is an expert at creating elaborate electro-tattoos that complement the faces of gang members and mercenaries. He can make hard men seem gentle and innocent girls look fierce... for a fee, of course.

This DLC allows Shepard to tattoo his face with elaborate dark or glowing ink designs, adding a bonus to his Renegade or Paragon status.

Gameplay:

* An in-game stock market set up to sell off some of your excess minerals since it's quite easy to get several times more minerals than you have credits.

* Fiddle with the assault rifles to make them a bit more accurate.

* Make the shotguns more useful ala that shotgun mod that was posted.

* Allow us to set squad points for team members from the private terminal instead of just before a mission starts.

* Speed up planet scanning for the 360 prior to the scanner upgrade.

Upgrades:

* More ship stuff that can actually payoff in the endgame, like a multi-warhead missile that the Narada used in Star Trek, or a better point defense system (which can be shown off in an N7 mission cutscene or something).

* Definitely more stuff for the guns, especially heavy weapons. Just getting ammo increases seemed kinda cheap.

* Let us use the medbay upgrade to fix Garrus's face.

Armor:

* More pieces, possibly more patterns.

* The ability to color the preorder bonus armor.

Missions:

* Maybe an expansion with Shepard and company retaking a hijacked frigate from some mercs, starting with combat on the outer hull, then moving into the ship, with interaction with the ship's crew.

* Interesting side missions with some tough choices.

* Maybe have some missions that showcase the upgrades to the Normandy prior to going through the Omega 4 relay. It really bugs me that I don't know if the minerals I invested were put to good use until I pass the point of no return.

* Something involving hanar, like a bunch of hanar are being held hostage because they're preventing some company from nabbing a Prothean artifact or something.

How about an auto-fish feeder? Something you can buy that will make it so you don't have to run up to your room every 5 mins to feed the fish. Just put it in a free up-date.

Being able to choose armour when starting missions, instead of constantly going to the armour customization locker when wanted to choose Blood dragon/terminus etc.

Slots to save custom armour, maybe i want to wear bright pink when i'm on illium, now i want to wear black on the citidel

More armour/casual customization (obviously)

I like IggyD's idea about the tattoo (as well as piercing?) artist as well as the barber.  Add these two people on Normandy in new area?  While Shepard is getting a tattoo or a hair style change his romance interest comes in to interact with commentary and approval/disapproval.  This will add more romance content.

I think there should be an arms dealer to fill in the hole for lack of armor/guns content.  The arms dealer would be based on paragon/renegade status.  For instance if you go renegade you can pick up an arms dealer at Omega to join you on the Normandy, as for Paragon you can pick up an arms dealer on The Citadel.  The arms dealer will give you missions for certain upgrades to your gear and you can use you massive excess of materials for other parts.  He'd be stationed in the room with Jacob.  Isn't it weird all those weapons laying around and Jacob just talks about trusting Cerberus, lets just add a buddy for him to get along with or disagree with (more crew interaction).   In the armor selection add light/medium/heavy/casual selection.

Planet Scanning - few like it, few don't, few prefer old method of using mako.  Lets make it were you can do a quick planet scan where you get  a fixed amount of resources/xp or you can go down and explore riding in the Hammerhead.  This would just involve you doing the same as ME1 destroying towers, silly mercs on foot, and thresher maws while finding more materials/xp than a simple quick scan.

Krogan battle arena or Omega battle arena - option of guns combat or add melee combat to game.  Infiltrator with stealth and a knife for instant sneak kill or Vanguard using charge and stabbing a merc?  Seeing how Shepard is probably the best overall leader/marine/spectre in the galaxy I think he should have some background of melee skills.

Deeper facial editor.  Not sure how everyone else feels but it feels like the facial editor is lacking.  Possibly add a cosmetic scientist to sit in with Dr. Chokwa (no idea how to spell that).  The other scientist will help reconstruct damage done to Garrus as well as enhance your looks or let you rebuild your look.  I'm not sure about others but certain angles you see your character in cut scenes show irregularities that you might want to slightly alter and not start over.

More in depth character builder where you get talent points and stats.  Talent points are spent as they already are on learning abilities while stats add modifications to those abilities: increased damage / duration / area of effect / recovery time.

Difficult but would add a nice addition - This is asking a lot, but on the paragon/renegade options during the cut scenes add in options once you select the paragon/renegade choice for instance: You are going through your mission to gain Miranda's loyalty and the merc talking trash walks up to you, click renegade and you snap his neck (atm), but if you had say Grunt as your third member you can select if you want him to deal with it and out of nowhere the guy crashes to the floor after taking a hook from Grunt.  Would make it where the squad mates you take on the mission are very important to the story.

Yes, Arms Dealer would be fun. Like the guy on your ship in ME1 who you could buy things from. With Cerberus's connections he should have access to a good few items, and you could then do missions for him which result in you getting new pieces of equipment. Raiding equipment caches or whatever.

I think it was a conversation with Jacob, Shapard talking about getting a bar in the Normandy...

I think a small quest to get our favorite bartender to man the Normandy...

Random Event quests heres the link: http://social.biowar...03/index/993427

And mass expansions that will tie into ME3

I'd like a barber too, Iggy. And even the tattoo parlor idea. Although I don't know if being tattooed would make you a better negotiator...

Purchaseable DLC Mission:

5) Recover personal items. Adds a new mission where you return to a storage device on the Citadel, or Arcturus Station to recover additional personal belongings. Personal effects from the Earthborn/Colonist/Spacer and Sole Survivor/Ruthless/War Hero origins. Small medal case for your desk showing appreciation from the Citadel Council and/or Alliance, Feros' colony, Noveria, and the Salarian Union for the help on Virmire. Perhaps a new set of clothing made from an appreciative tailor from the Citadel. Extra music for the radio. For imported characters, small rewards for the collection missions: A bookshelf for the volumes of Matriarch Delinaga's writings, a medal case for the League of One Medallions, Turian colonial insignia paint jobs for your armor, perhaps a plaque for helping colonial expansion with gathering resources in ME1, and a data analyzer for the Prothean Data disks that EDI analyzes with her unused resources (to help her get through those more boring minutes).

I always wanted to get a look at some of those items. Then again, if I lost those Prothean Data disks or Delinaga's original writings by the SR-2 being destroyed or something, I'd kick myself.

kregano wrote...

You can get that upgrade as soon as you get onboard the Normandy... What do you mean, "prior?" I had that upgrade before I scanned any planets.

You can see the ugprades on the bridge, and if it's not clear enough, just talk to everyone. If you still see "Upgrades" and doesn't go away when you talk to them about it once, you don't have it yet. If you don't see "Upgrades" or it disapprears after you talk to them once, you do. Or you could like... listen to the character. All the upgrades are in the Prototypes section or Ship Upgrades section.

Since no one reads the ME2 spoiler forum I'll add my two cents here as well. Liara Expansion, larger than a regular DLC centered around taking down the Shadow Broker and reuniting Shepard with his LI (if she is yours).

More guns/gun mods
More armor/helmets (that you can choose from in your cabin)
More Normandy upgrades
more missions/sidequests: longer, much longer than Bring Down the Sky
More casual uniform choices
More Fish
More starmaps

As to specific sidequest types: More on Omega, more on Illium, more on the Citadel. Some UNC requests from Admiral Hackett, more ways to sabotage/strengthen the work of Cerberus from the inside.

Don't bring back the Mako, those were the most boring missions I've ever played. More involved missions that aren't quick in and out quests.

The Hanar/Drell homeworld would be nice but then that is more a ME3 request.

More missions that are not only based on combat, but more on roleplaying. (Just dont make them fetch quests )

A geth armor like the one saren used on the first game.

The scars should react to the player being a paragon like they do when you are a renagade, your eyes should become blue like the illusive man's.

More after end game dialogue and quests, something to give a reason to keep playing.
