When i start the game up the bioware and EA clips play through without any audio at all.
Then the title screen pops up with "press any key", once pressed a sort of space ambience plays over the main menu.
Then finally once the game is loaded up i only get audio for voices and nothing else, so in the opening movie sequences i am only hearing the voices, not one bit of music or other sound comes through!
Anyone else experiencing this, or know how i can fix it?
Cheers
Jack
Only voice audio, not one other sound or any music plays!

Note the game i'm referring to is mass effect 2, installed and played from a physical disc.
Version:
MassEffect2.exe - v1.00
MassEffect2Launcher.exe - v1.01
MassEffect2Config.exe - v1.03
Uninstall Mass Effect 2.exe - v1.03
PC Specs:
Intel Quad Core Q6600 @ 2.40 GHz - Clock speed 2396 MHz
4 GB DDR2 RAM
ATI Radeon HD 2900 XT - VRAM 512MB - Driver Version: 8.561.0.0
Speakers (Realtek High Definition Audio) - Driver Version: 6.0.1.5745
And also in the device manager in control panel under sound video and game controllers it has these three sound devices:
Realtek High Definition audio
ATI T200 Unified AVStream Driver
ATI HDMI Audio
My Operating System is:
Microsoft® Windows Vista™ Home Premium Service Pack 2
DirectX 10.0 (Nov2008)
And as I said in my previous post here is the problem:
When I start the game up the bioware and EA clips play through without any audio at all, I thought I wasn't receiving any.
Then the title screen pops up with "press any key", once pressed a sort of space ambience plays over the main menu so i'm now receiving sound.
Then finally once the game is loaded up i only get audio for voices and nothing else, so in the opening movie sequences i am only hearing the voices, not one bit of music or other sound comes through. Same thing goes for gameplay. Just voices. Now the exact same parts my brother plays through on xbox with a lot more going on in the sound department.
Anyone else experiencing this, or know how i can fix it?
Cheers
