The surfacers can hardly handle a darkspawn attack every few centuries. I'd love to see them handle an on-going conflict.

Exactly, if the circle had been trusted to deal with the darkspawn. The only Hurlocks left would be those in the stories to scare the children. As would the "mighty" dwarves.

That's true. However, three of the blights occured north of Ferelden. The dwarven kingdom is in a constant warring state with the Darkspawn.AClockworkMelon wrote...
