What caste do you call the ones that have been waging a war for centuries and yet can't finish their opponents?

The surfacers can hardly handle a darkspawn attack every few centuries. I'd love to see them handle an on-going conflict.

These humans and mages are nothing more than elfs with their ears rounded. When they stand toe to toe with the enemy they will gain a little bit of respect. Until then, we'll do the heavy lifting.

Tsk. You have such pride in fighting the Darkspawn, but you can't end them. Misplaced pride, dear dwarves. So very misplaced. If the Circle had taken a personal hand in it, at least then you'd be able to find them. Honestly, I've yet to understand why we haven't just cleansed the tunnels with fire yet. It's such an elegant solution.

...Yes, I mean the dwarven tunnels, too. We're not running a rat farm here.

Exactly, if the circle had been trusted to deal with the darkspawn. The only Hurlocks left would be those in the stories to scare the children. As would the "mighty" dwarves.

The point is, were our positions reversed, they would end you.

That's hardly definite, dwarf. Were our positions reversed, I'm certain I wouldn't be a smelly, thick-browed, tiny-brained rat. Were our positions reversed, it's entirely possible we'd still be in this situation - or we'd have ended the Blight once and for all by now.

If someone would have taken care of you're precious costume parties earlier, there won't be no darkspawn in the first place

Guys! Not everyone can be perfect.

The rest are all human.

(And elves.)

History is against you, elf. Not only have you very nearly crumbled under each isolated Blight, but your race was so easily brought to its knees so long ago by the Chantry. Crushed and enslaved in one fell swoop by the humans! It's laughable that you think your weak race could survive in the Deep Roads.

Still it where the dwarves who stood up for your silly mistakes and it's the dwarves who are fighting the aftermath of your stupidity on a daily basis. I won't be so eager to look down on the only insurance that your pretty silken ass hasn't been pierced by darkspawn spears yet. You'd surely have a hard time reading those ludicrous books of yours if you had to fight for existance from day one.
Maybe we should just open up the deep roads and see how you handle fire with flames, thinbone?

You surface dwellars seem to forget that our halls are stained with the blood of our ancestors, that have defeated and repelled FOUR seperate blights.

We'll make sure when the next one starts that we run to the front and sacrifice ourselves while you dance happily underneath the starlit sky.

We do not need you to fight our battles. In fact, if it were up to me, the circle would cleanse the deep Roads of ALL inhabitants

Note: Only the first Blight hit the dwarfs. It's all been against the humans since then.

Excuse me? The very definition of a blight means that you, the mighty midgets, have failed in your task as the, self proclaimed, benevolent protectors you so desperately seek recognision for.

That's true. However, three of the blights occured north of Ferelden. The dwarven kingdom is in a constant warring state with the Darkspawn.

Count the dead. How many darkspawn have fallen to dwarven weapons and how many have fallen to the "Cool Breeze" of the mage, or the secondary efforts of the human's.

I didn't think dwarfs could count that high.

Any competent mage could bring the earth crashing down on Orzammar, "dwarven engineering" be damned. What good is magic resistance if you're buried alive, eh? Having said that, you dwarves pretty much do that for yourselves with your surface phobia.
