I think the Dwarven Noble Origin is the "Undisputed Heavyweight Champion" of Origins. Not only do you get to be a Dwarf(hoo-rah) you get to be the Son of a King: a prince, if you will.

So really, based on starting point alone, the Dwarven Noble Origin is of the highest caste possible in the game.

I'm sure all the other Origins are fun, but how could you not want to be the Prince of the Dwarven Kingdom?

I suppose you're right. Nothing else compares to being a golden midget.

Well if you're implying that it would be burnt to a crisp along with the dwarf inside quicker than the dwarf could trip over it, then I'll admit you have a point.

 So does the dwarf have a romance option? I mean hes shorter, so wont the romance animations have to be different?

for example she has to pick him up or bend over to kiss him? Or he has to get a medium sized box to stand on to kiss her?

I found all the achievements for this game and it only looks like 4 romances. 2 males and 2 females. none of them dwarves. I'm curious to see how this will work out.

Dwarves aren't really that short in DA:O. In the character creator, they're chest-high to humans, shoulder-high to elves. So the girls and boys really only have to lean slightly down to kiss a dwarf.

But it's been stated the romances are available for all origins. Just not the same ones for certain genders. I'm still waiting for details of who the same-sex romances are, though.

Yes. It doesn't matter if you're a human, elf or dwarf, you can still romance everyone who's appropriate for your gender. I'm curious who the same-sex partner is. I have a feeling it'll be Morrigan. I'm really  confident it'll be a female. Jade Empire had male-on-male romance but I don't forsee it happening in this game.

I'm hoping for Alistair to be one of the same-sex romance options. Morrigan's kind of a given, I think, but they may fool us and have it be Leliana. Zevran also seems more the sort, but I'm holding out for Alistair.



...Or I'll just have to mod the gender check off his romance script. >.>

That's true. However, three of the blights occured north of Ferelden. The dwarven kingdom is in a constant warring state with the Darkspawn.

Count the dead. How many darkspawn have fallen to dwarven weapons and how many have fallen to the "Cool Breeze" of the mage, or the secondary efforts of the human's.
