In various discussions in several forums I see pictures of and refrences to a character named "Bella", not to be confused with the woman who gives you the duelist skill. She seems an entirely different and attractive character that some seem to have in their party. I have played the game through now 7 times and never encountered this person. So... Who the heck is Bella and where the heck is she found? I have always played as a human... mostly male, but once as a female just to see what difference it makes. If Bella is only encountered when playing as another race please tell me that.
Thanks for any information you can give me... I'm about to start another character and would like to find this other character if possible.
Who is Bella and where is she?

Thanks for that... Would you believe in all the play throughs I have done so far I have never even BEEN in that tavern until you mentioned it? I had simply ignored that building on the hill, never seeing the path up to it. When I went there this time all Bella would say was "Is there something I can get you?" I guess I went past all the triggers for her to say something else. Oh well... wait'll next time! Thank you sooooo much (in Lilliana's words) for the tip.

She has never spoken to me. Never engaged in a conversation. Only given me a single comment, whatever it was.
By the looks of the wiki I would have to engage the bartender?! Something to do next time around I guess.

I didn't think it was creepy. She actually takes it quite well...offered to kiss the entire bar if we won, in fact.
Though I didn't make her do it. My PC was always asking for kisses as a joke.

Yeah in order to have dialogue with Bella you have to approach the tavern owner before the Redcliffe standoff. You can also shake him down for the tavern.

My friend said that in his ending, Bella opened a brewery in Denerim because he gave her money. Is this only for a male Warden? Because I've never seen the option to give her money, of ALL the playthroughs.

She can do that when the Warden is female, also. You have to speak with her before the Battle of Redcliffe, tell her that she's too good for a place a like that, and Lloyd has to survive the night. Then you can speak with her after the battle, and give her the money to leave.

oh cool I usually just berate Lloyd into fighting (he turns over the bar to Bella) and then get everything in her stock for free (not a lot just some potions and recipes but meh every penny saved)...She is a hottie and I think next time I will give her the money although without it, it says she renames the bar in Redcliffe something like "the Gray Warden's Rest"? I think she takes over that one.

I've done this twice and it's never come up in my epilogue.
