I just recently bought a new computer, and with it, Dragon Age Origins and Mass Effect 2. Having now beaten Mass Effect 2, I popped in Dragon Age Origins for a spin. Now, I know that the recquirements for both games are not the same, I realize that they are close, but, I run Mass Effect 2 conistantly at 60+ fps on everything maximum but when I run Dragon Age Origins on max, I'm lucky to get 10, at max with 4x AA I get around 30 and at 2x AA I get 40-60. I've heard that it may be my processor, though, I've looked around and I can't find anything on my processors model.

My specs are as follows:
Processor: AMD Phenom II X4 965 Processor at 3.4ghz (AM3) Black Box Edition
Memory: 4gbs of Patriot Sector 5 DDR3
Motherboard: ASUS-M4A79XTD EVO
OS: Windows 7 x64 bit Home Edition with DX11
Video Card: XFX Radeon 5770 XXX Edition: 875mhz GPU Clock, 1GGB DDR5 Memory, 5,2ghz Memory Speed
Power Supply: OCZ ModXStream Pro 700W 20/24pin (using 24)
Display: Two Samsung T220HD's (main screen plugged in via HDMI)

From previous searches through the internet, I think I've narrowed it down to a problem with my processor although I can't be sure. Any insight and/or help is much appreciated.

Thanks for your time,
Ransem

PS Although my processor is a black box, I have yet to overclock it so that is definently not the cause.
