And yes, there should be more Ashley in the second one, and certainly in the third. I chose her in the first one because she was different, she believed that there was some sort of creator. Wow, a creationist in a Sci. Fi. video game! Crazy!

But what the heck, she'll just dump her values and sleep with you because it's the end of the world. How about each character's relationships advance differently. If you're with Liara you sleep together and you have a relationship, with Ashley you develop something like you do in ME1 and you have to get married because she wouldn't do it any other way (and neither would I!) and something else for the male characters who I will not romance.

I'd also like to add that turning enemies into bullet sponges on higher difficulties is not ideal. A headshot should be just as satisfying to pull off for those looking for a higher challenge, as it is for those playing on lower difficulties. In call of duty games the enemies are never packed on with more health in higher difficulty. The reason for that is simple. The gameplay would simply become unsatisfying.

I found a really nice quote that explains my biggest want in ME3.

4) Squad Banter
Simple.  It just brings out a sense your squadmates aren't mutes who don't have feelings towards each other.  In ME2, they just seemed like mindless servants obeying orders when you couldn't even have the opportunity to talk to them on a mission or post-mission about your in-game decisions.  Granted, I am not ripping on the incredible character development that was present by talking to your squadmates about their personal lives in ME2, but what the mission and how they get along with the rest of the crew?

NICE! Cross-Thread References!  That just made my day!

Anyways, well, I can't disagree with my original post.  This goes along with my dear request to bring back that "in-game movie" feeling, the "immersion" aspect that felt so choppy and interrupted in ME2.  ME2 with the load screens, Mission Complete Screens, amongst other small details felt more like a standard FPS, versus a unique gaming experience that was envisioned in ME1.  My full argument is here

After playing some ME2 recently, I thought of an idea that may be neat for ME3. Something that is essentially fluff really, but could be neat if the rest of the important stuff is polished and substantial.

Regarding Shepard's quarters and missions, specifically sidequests, I was thinking it may be neat to perhaps have a few more momentos that you could display related to quests. For example, in the Normandy Crash Site DLC you find your helmet and then its on display in your quarters. It might be cool if a few more quests provided little trinkets and items that help remind you of said quests and how you did them. This could be accomplished by having characters in the odd quest not only saying "thank you" for helping them, but also saying "take this" and giving you a little trinket (rather like The Consort in ME1, but items that don't have much of a use beyond display purposes). One could even have a weapon rack on a wall that filled with the weapons of named boss characters as a reminder of who has been defeated.

i think ME2 is too mild and doesn't have any intensity. I don't know about you guys but cus i'm a hardcore FPS player it feels a bit dull. The weapons need a lot more variation and power, the armor is a bit dull as well, destructible environments will be nice. Bioware if you're reading this, the recipe for intensity is weaker enemies but make a whole lot of them. There is nothing more intense than seeing a rain of bullets.

In ME2 there is a lack of conequence of what we do, if we do something wrong only our crew will die. ME3 should be more like dragon age where our decision affect every soul in that we meet that means our decision could kill the entire universe for example species will go extinct or a war will broke out. Our decision should cause mass effect, not just kill a few souls.

Character creation also needs to be enhanced. Presets are ugly and hair styles are very few. If you want us making beautiful characters you should consider adding things such as tattoos and more variety of eyes.

"Intensity" can be misunderstood DA_legend.Personally, i prefer lots of powerful enemies, cause if i'm overrun, then i'll have to think my way out of it. ME should be about tactics, not weapons and brute force and i think Bioware did a great job with ME2 in this category. The rest,i agree with you.

Slightly more customization and variability of weapons would be nice. I also like Terror_K's idea on mission mementos and the 'weapons rack'. Great idea.

One last thing, it would be good if the downloadable weapons and armor were as customizable as the standard armor. With the standard armor you can improve it with 'add-on' pieces obtained throughout the game. We should be able to apply these bonuses to the premium downloaded content as well.

That'd be quite cool. Something as simple as being able to change the colour of the glow on the Terminus Armour would be nice. Nothing drastic, just 1 or 2 colour sliders.

helmet toggle is very important also. No more shep drinking and kissing through helmets.

Make the heavy weapons a 'normal' feature and usable by squad members. When I first heard about heavy weapons I thought 'great I'll give it to Wrex and during battle he'll occasionally pop up and save the day in the most gruesome fashion imaginable' /end thought

But instead it's a reserve weapon with limited non recharging ammo. I'd even be OK with a cut in power to balance out it's increased usability.

What i mised in Mass effect 2 is that there where no great movie experience like it was in the first Mass effect. For an example the first time you come the Citadel and fly in to dock whit the citadel its a really wow experience whit commentarys about the Destiny Ascension such epic cut scene i whant to see in Mass effect 3.

Ship customisation and ship combat. That would make ME3 great. I would also like the Mako back

Liked the new armor in Mass effect 2 but i would really want to be able to by more parts to it and in different style. But i was really dissapointed that you could buy a armor like the one in the first mass effect that heavy N7 armor.

Add to that the option to abandon that ship alltogether, for ships of different alien designs, made available depending on how I resolved the loyalty quests.

Couldn't agree more. The krogan and heavy mechs should be the only ones taking so much damage.

Personally I feel a deeper morality system would be appreciated.

I always saw Paragon vs Renegade being the sliding scale of cynicism - The Paragon is an Idealist, the Renegade a cynic.

The problem is that Renegade just comes off violent racist jerk. This fanfiction http://www.fanfictio...6262/1/Renegade shows what the Renegade should have been, at the very least. Yes, this is a promotion, but its hard to describe it with my limited wording.

I'd just like to see Renegade be an option I can actually take seriously, rather than something I can just play through when I feel in need of a laugh or sprinkle paragon playthroughs with. The whole idea of Mass Effect is that you play Commander Shepard, a hero. Not some prejudiced sociopath.

I was very satisfied with ME2 and there are only a few things I would like to see in ME3.

+ The option to purchase weapons rather than simply find or download them. Mainly for variety purposes. I would have really enjoyed purchasing a customized black market assault rifle, shotgun or sniper rifle.

+ Somesort of visual or holographic read out of minerals on a planet. Even with the advanced mineral scanner, scanning is quite tedious despite it's obvious benefits. However, I will take this method over driving around in the Mako any day.

+ Specific character upgrades. Instead of leveling up regeneration and power by a percentage, perhaps give the option to upgrade either Renegeration or Power. I found playing as a biotic my powers couldn't recharge fast enough. I'd gladly exchange power for attack rate.

+ More variety in armor appearance. The customization is very nice, but having more than 2 or 3 parts to choose from would be great. Having the option to add or edit teammate armor would be nice as well.

ME3 needs an improved resources gathering system, if they wont fix that in ME2.

Becouse i loved the planet scanning at first, but after a while, even with the scanning upgrade, it's booring and just a pain in the ass.

more ship upgrades or something to really improve the scanning speed, please!

There is a planet you can go to in ME1 that if you use the Consort's "trinket" you find out it's a key to an ancient ruin that shows the Protheans or Reapers I forget doing experiments on a primitive race so it was actually functionaly you just needed to land on the right planet to use it. You unlock it and you pass out and it downloads the experience into your brain like one of the beacons.

I second both of these suggestions so hard.

I think there is an "in" on the "more epic consequences" front with one of the missions and I hope that it does actually work out that way.

It would also be nice if there were more activites to do with your squad mates on the ship. Maybe play a game of space cards or other fun little mini games with certain members or a group of them. I think having things like this would make it really hit home if one of them were to die and you realize you can never play that game with them ever again.
