Mass Effect 3 Wishlist

1. In Mass Effect 2 we have a complete Universe that does not sell weapons or armor.
2. Then there is the limit on which weapon you can use. If you can aim - you should be able to use a sniper rifle.
3. I guess Bioware wanted to shorten programming time on the ME2 version.
4. Programmers at Bioware need to learn how to use if statements as if your completed character has more perks earned then the benefits given by starting a new character - the program should use the greater .
5. The lack of carry over of new character's conversational points is a joke.
In short I will not buy anymore EA games unless the console access problem is fixed.

And no more disconnecting loading screens and leaving a planet just for changing a piece of armor.
Bring back the docking bay for the normandy and something that hides loading (such as elevators) but make it as interesting as possible to hide the "waiting time". More squadmates talk, news and possibly other things to do, see or hear while loading. Also add some kind of loading bar in the elevator that indicates how long the loading will take. Not as hud element but realisticly integrated into the elevator.

Other than this I really like the game. I have never played the original version (I might buy it to play just for fun) and think that ME2 is amazing. From reading above I think that a vehicle or two would be fantastic and expanding some of the areas to explore and also maybe adding lots more side-quests would be really great too. It took me 56 hours to finish the game and to be honest it wasn't all that challenging on the normal mode. I've upped it to the next difficulty setting and it's a little harder but still not a huge challenge.
I'm a fan though, keep 'em coming.

Also i'd like to see the reaper brain-wash thing (indoc-something), play a bigger role in ME3, maybe a mission, where one of your squad members will be affected by it - or even shepard.
And the ME1 squad to return (i know i posted it before - but i was too lazy to find my comment and edit it - and it can't be said enough).

I don't know if it has been suggested yet but I'd like to have an sword as seen in the new imagined Star Trek to chop up the zombie at close range rather than shooting them. A sword is also useful against a charging Krogan.
YAY lets have swords for every one! And let's use ALL weapons akimbo style! Want to dual wield CAINS!! And I want to be able to transform into a vampirewerewolfgethprime Shepard!
Any kind of medieval weapon have NO place in ME universe. That's just a retarded thing to ask for. Same thing goes for any kind of melee combat (excluding the current elbow/gun butt hit we have in ME1 and ME2).

Much like ME2, only with more customization from the player. A menu identical to armor customization, with a tab for each weapon class. Each class would have a base weapon, that we can mod and customize. The base weapon we start the game with would be very plain.
Example:
Weapon class: Assault Rifle
Firing Style: Rapid-fire
Weapon Modification: None
Ammo Type: None
Misc. Mod (1): None
Misc. Mod (2): None
After playing the game, and acquiring a few mods, we can turn it into:
Weapon class: Assault Rifle
Firing Style: Burst-Fire
Weapon Modification: Scope
Ammo Type: Incendiary
Misc. Mod (1): +25% accuracy
Misc. Mod (2): +15% rate-of-fire
Instead of passive abilities from ME2, we would have to choose what aspects of the weapon to improve, in favor of others. You could choose to improve accuracy and rate-of-fire, but your gun would run out of ammo much faster, in exchange for more DPS.
Color and design customization speaks for itself.

1.) Even if Shepard has now some kind of "bigger weapons", he can´t fight a boss, which is a space ship. The boss fight at the end of ME2 was the most stupid thing I saw in this 2 games.
2.) Scanning for resources was boring ... or better ... the problem was, that it was needed SO MUCH ... nothing against a few minutes ... but not some hours ...
3.) I think it was said before in this thread (even if I didn´t read 105 pages) ... Citadel was too small this time ...
4.) Elevators were better than "loading screens". Elevators are kind of "reality" ... and squad members talking to me was fun.
and last but not least:
5.) Changing disks (Xbox360) even if I installed the game wasn´t nice. Hopefully ME3 does not requires a disk change, when installing the 6 disks.
P.S. People "warping" during a talk shouldn´t come to ME3 ... I want to talk to a person I can see ...

THE CLIP SYSTEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - A STEP BACK IN SOO MANY WAYS:
Most importantly regarding Ingenuity & Gamplay:
- the overheat system really made you feel like you were in the future, and it was a fantastic idea!
- it made way for strategy, sometimes you could shoot more than allowed but suffer an overheat while other times you would pace yourself.
- personally I play an INFILTRATOR because I love to snipe - the sniper is the life blood of that class and what happens with the stupid clip system and only having 10 bullets MAX is - it forces you to NOT USE the very weapon that you picked the class for!!>!?!?! - if that is done intentionally that is pure regression in the design of the game.
Overall - it makes my combat experience actually extremely frustrating and something I do not look forward to in game (instead liking the exploration/talk phases more). This is the exact opposite feeling I had in ME1, and it is unfortunate because the new shooting mechanics feel great but the clips ruin EVERYTHING.
PLEASE PLEASE ADDRESS THIS ISSUE!!!!

a little tweaking from both ME 1 and 2. Some things should be brought back from ME 1 and some things should
be kept from ME 2, and a few things should be dumped all together.
BRING BACK:
1.Control of entering/leaving the Normandy and when you choose to leave port.
2.elevators/squad banter, or add another layer of illusion to help hide the load screens.
3.planet side exploration, imagine exploring in ME 1 with the Hammerhead instead of the Mako.
4.Thresher maws ( i just miss those guys. )
5.Leveling up the ME 1 way.
6.exp for killing enemys, i don't really care if they drop loot or not.
7.crouching, helmet toggle, and squad armor.
8.Normal text, don't mess around with things so people can't read anything. that just wasn't cool.
9.Biotic powers with individual cool down.
10.The Presidium/ C-sec in the Citadel, just interetsed to see how they now look after Sarens attack in ME 1.
KEEP FROM ME 2:
1.The battle system, just fix the cover/jumping over issue.
2.The new Normandy, but give us accsess to the whole ship from the start.
3.EDI, she is the best part of the new Normandy. KEEP HER!!
4.Normandy's Crew, i love some of their personalitys ( i'm looking over at you Scotty)
5.Upgrading the ship
6.i like the new galaxy map its a step in the right direction (imo), just lose the location flags.
7..Scanning IF its made much faster, and mixed in with planet exploration it might not be so bad,
so some planets you would have to scan and some you would have to explore by vehichle or both. NOT just
linear missions of get from point A - Z. An example would be going to a merc hideout, you get there and scan,
EDI tells you she can't pin point a location, so you need to go down and explore by vehicle to find the entrance to the hideout, maybe coming across a few surprises on the way, a small crashed ship to explore, or part of an
old forgotten Prothein ruin that you go into and find a painting of a Prothein... If BW pulled that off i think i'd cry, really.
8.Shepards civilian cloths option with more choices and a customize option. Don't drop it, just take it
that next step or two.
9..Armor mix and match/customize, but make it so the dlc armor can be mixed in as well.
10.Squad/crew quests.
11.. Hacking mini game of match the pictures.
12. Conversation Interupt, this is perfect.
13. Multi disk/ disk swap...If it means more game, i don't care how many disks (console or PC),
more game is NEVER a bad thing.
1.End Mission screens...I absolutley HATE THEM!!
2.Forced MQ missions, its one thing to be told a quest is waiting, or start by entering a star system, but its another for it to begin automatically at the end of a cutscene and without warning and no prep time. Its NO FUN to have to
dance around cut scenes and quests to avoid a forced one, not fun at all.
3.Ammo clips and cut down the recharge time of certain heavey weapons.
4. Hacking mini game of match the colored paragraphs, but keep the other one.
5. No more recruiting members at the end of the game like Legion was. He was the VERY first thing we saw for ME 2 , yet he's the very last crew member you can recruit. I always thought that odd.
Most importantly for ME 3 i want Bioware to take their time and make ME 3 shine for eveyone,
not just one group over the other. On the old boards i was in the minority, An xbox-er who thought ME 1 just
needed some tweeks but remains one of my ALL TIME FAVORITES, i hope this time i am in the majority.

I wish Bioware would allow us to use the Normandy (insert space ship here) to do battle and to make exploring new clusters of stars a little more complex and dangerous than it is.
For example, you could encounter pirates while moving around in the terminus system, and slavers, and heck maybe Geth fleets (If you decided giving Legion to Cerberus was the right call)
I know the Normandy is supposed to be untraceable, but that doesn't mean WE can't trace a group of pirates and destroy/board their ships.
Also Reapers are going to be lurking around in the next game, so we should be able of encounter them and fight their ships (just to be utterly destroyed unless you have the support of a fleet)

I have a proposal to the intro in mass effect whit some sort of celebration on the Normandy's observation deck or on the Citadel for taking down the Collectors. and to get the story rolling and if you are on the Normandy Captain Andersson will send you a message in the brefing room to say that you should come to the citadel and speak whit the coucil in person or if you are on the citadel in bar then Captain andersson will come down to tak whit shepard and request to speak to him alone about the council. That all i have for now.
continue
When Captain Andersson send the message or meet you in a bar on the citadel the first option on the Normandy you take the ship directly to the citaldel and in the docking area Ashley/Kaiden is waiting for you to come to citadel they are there to lead you to the citadel council and between Ashley/Kaiden and Commander Shepard they disscusse what have happen in the battel against the collectors and a romatic sub plot ( here the first consequence if you have been loyal or not ). If you are on the citadel bar after David Andersson has talk to shepard you go to the citadel council and in the tower you meet the Ashley/Kaiden. They come to the citadel tower and meet whit the council whit counsilour Andersson or udina depending on your choice in Mass effect 2. Here they ask about what happen beyond the omega 4 relay where shepard tells everything and if sqaudmates have died to say what they sacrifice them self for and Commader Shepard tell the council what tey need to do but the council member say that you don't are allow to make demand of council but then at least shepard ask to be fully reinstated and that the citadel fleet at least is set on the higest alert level and that he get gather more information where the reapers are beging there attack ( and to gather allied like the rachine ). Thats all for now.
Agreed. Maybe having both kind of versions: overheating and clip ones, would be an answer
Another issue with it is that risks of using untrained weapons get way too high. In ME1 I could sometimes use sniper or shotgun although I wasn't trained. It was a risk but nothing a few second cooldown wouldn't fix. Now I just run out of ammo
