(Don't know if this has been mentioned.)
Graphics-fix:
i notice on the edge of models/straight-edged-objects etc there is a white or just a scrappy edge. A small gripe, its pops out to me and I've never really noticed it in other games-its more noticeable when in motion & interiors(the rough/scrappy edges). Perhaps find a way to smooth it out.
e.g 1. left wall
e.g 2. Normandy surfaces
e.g.3. Samara's seat

Playing through the hammerhead sections and have some feedback.

First off, I think the hammerhead moves great. It's great fun to pilot around.

Combat is something else though. I find having to constantly strafe around collosus after collosus incredibly frustrating and boring. It kind of ruins the pace of a level to have to sit and fire on an enemy over and over and over. I would much prefer to take on 5 collosus that need 2 hits each than 1 collosus that needs 10.

I suggest bioware get playing games like Star Fox 64 and Rouge Squadron to really get the feel for what an arcade vehicular shooter should feel like.

In short, the hammerhead suffers from the same problem that the 3rd person combat suffers from. On harder difficulties, enemies just get more and more health.

I am firmly in the camp of More Targets > Harder Targets when it comes to difficulty. I feel having to sit and wear one enemy down has far less intensity than having to take out a whole squad of them and it kind of ruins the intensity to have to shoot the same guy, over and over and over.

What other shooter out there on the market, even on their hardest difficulties, has your average henchmen/bad guy take 3 clips just to take down?

I would really love to see vehicles return to the main story of ME3. I think vehicles give the game a bit more scope and intensity when they're done properly, but like the 3rd person combat needed refining, so does vehicular combat. That said, if it's well done, an air/space fighter ala Rouge Squadron would be lots of fun, and a refined return to the hammerhead would also be great.

So, to the dev tem. Get playing rouge squadron, get playing star fox. The two best arcade vehicle shooters out there. take notes so we can have some seriously awesome vehicles in number 3!

(and remember more footsoldiers > stupidly tough footsoldiers)

I'd also love to see more consequences for previous decisions. ME1's endgame decisions really didn't impact ME2 at all. There were small references here or there but no major gamechangers at all. If devs want these decisions to really impact and be meaningful, they have to have consequence.

Simple idea. One should be able to go in the captain's room, enter the bathroom, get to the mirror, and... EDIT your Shepard's face. Wait, wait... Two things. This would only be possible for customized Shepards, and you would not be able to change your facial structure, ONLY - for girls - hair and makeup, and - for guys - hair and beard style.

Plus, it would give that bathroom an actual purpose...

1. Explore the whole galaxy, not just half at a time.
2. More hubworlds to land on
3. ME1 citadel
4. More side quests (like ME1)
5. Marry LI
6. More Hammerhead missions

I would like to see the Mako return but the Hammerhead could also be in the same game too provided you can actually save during the missions though.

I'd like to see the Mako and Hammerhead both return, but not in the way they were.

The Mako is a tank - its better suited for linear, heavy combat missions(think the main story parts of ME1)
The Hammerhead is quick, nimble, and takes to tougher terrain - its basically perfect for exploring the far reaches of space.
The Kodiak is designed for getting you close to the mission area, quietly, and quickly - great for covert drops into enemy territory.

Have the Mako used for heavy combat missions, the Hammerhead for exploration, and the Kodiak for covert drop missions would be great, imo.

Further DLC's, no. What I think of is the world gaming community, what it needs. Mass Effect is a brilliant and fun game least said. It doesn't deserve to be an exclusive. Bioware doesn't deserve it. Make it for us with the PS3. I can't afford a good gaming PC. I can't even afford a Xbox at the moment, but I can afford a game.

I wish things were simple like this but alas they are not.  I really wanted to play uncharted but I'm not willing to buy a PS3.  So I don't get to play that game, its the give and take.  If you have a PS3 you aren't going to get this game, period.  End of story.  I know its borderline unfair, but as they say you build your bed now lay in it.  If playing mass effect is so important to you then you can always try and rent a 360.  I don't know if its done anymore, but maybe a place like game fly or something will do that.  I've never checked out game fly so I don't know what they offer besides games though, but its an idea that wouldn't entail buying a new system for one game.

There has been some really good ideas thrown around in this forum now.  I like the peole who are providing DETAIL for once.  Some of the things I agree with and some I really don't, but thats all good.  I like reading about new ideas no matter if i am in agreement or not.

Sadly I understand that. However I'm not giving up just yet. A few months after ME3 is released I might tho.

After playing through Mass Effect 1 and 2 we still know very little about Shepard and his past, his family, his friends etc. I wish Bioware could tell us more about Mass Effect's most important character.

Bigger squads. More tactics like supression, send a teammate to flank supressed squad to the right etc. etc.

Always found it a bit lame that you have this huge team of interesting characters but you never see them together. Also after playing Brothers in arms and then going straight into ME was kinda bad when I was used to the great tactical aspect of the former.

This.

I would love to be able to pull up the wheel and call for some fire support or cover. Just think, call up Grunt and have him lay down suppressing fire with a heavy weapon. Or you could call up Garrus for sniper support for your team. What's the point in having tech people if you have to hack your own computers and doors? This is a great idea that needs to be initiated Rocket. I would love to have a support team. The suicide mission in ME2 really spoiled me.
Now on my personal wish list.
I want to be an Admiral. It doesn't have to be right away, but if I'm going to be leading the galaxy against the Reapers, I want the rank and pay that comes with a greater role.

Armor:

1) Let's get some actual armor for the squad members. I like the designs Bioware used, but let's face it they'd be useless in combat against hyper accelerated slugs.

2) More armor customization. The color patterns specifically. Look at the scorpion armor from ME1 yea we have the camo but we also have the black arm plates and such. I liked that, lets get it back.

Weapons:

1) How about an Army of Two style weapon customization screen. Take a base weapon and give add ons to it that will upgrade its abilities. or even some that help some aspects at the expense of others. Not just something that affects stats but also appearance.

2)GRENADES! I love the heavy weapons, love em to death. But honestly what commando unit doesn't have grenades for clearing a room upon entry.

3) Get rid of the punching. Maybe use a knife for a melee or a pistol whip. the rifle bashing makes sense but a punch seems silly.

Commander Shepard:

1) More content relating to the background history. We all wanna see Earth sure. But lets also see what happened to Mindoir or how Sheps mom is doing. I think that would help flesh out the back stories a bit more

2) New facial reconstruction. I mean like more hairstyles and such, nothing really major. Make it possible to change Sheps hair without having to reconstruct the entire face.

Squad Members:

1) More conversations. Plain and simple. I felt like we got to know the characters a lot more in ME1 and I wish we could keep it going after the endgame.

2) Deeper romance plots. Something that feels like a relationship rather than a short hookup.

Normandy:

1) Have the crew move around a bit, interact with shepard and the other crew more.

2) Maybe a custom paint job. I mean if you were paragon you basically stole it from TIM. why not paint it as you wish?

3) More personalization of the Captains Cabin. maybe you can put weapons on the wall, trophies of war what have you.

Exploration and planets:

1) lets find a happy medium between the wide open spaces of ME1 and the linear designs of ME2.

2) The vehicle. I honestly didn't mind the Mako, it made plenty of sense to me, other than the angles it could climb. The hammerhead seems a bit odd to me. again just find a happy medium.

Bigger role for Dr Chakwas, LIke Shepard being shot in the leg during a misson and a teammate helping Shepard back to the Normandy while the other is providing covering fire. When thy get back to the Normandy, Dr Chakwas stand ready to treat Shepard in the medical bay and the put shepard in one off the medical beds. and after Shepard needs to come back on some regulare observation off the leg.

Romances should be better integrated into the plot rather than - express feelings of love to character -> short romance scene before FINAL BATTLE.

Dragon Age handled this much better sometimes it seems ME is bioware's cash cow, while DA is their pet.

- Greater Weapons Customisation

The idea behind weapons customisation and getting more attached to a weapon in
ME2 was a good idea that was fairly poorly executed. There is no
decision-making process going on, no branching at all, completely linear. That
doesn't make me feel all warm and fuzzy towards my gun.

1. I second that. Upgrading weapons should involve some thinking, not only investing tons of resources.
- - - - - - -

2. More hairstyles. No, srsly. For me there's no immersion with bald/almost bald Shepard (and he's not in the military anymore, right?).

3. Deeper relations with squademates.

i agree with the melee actions. we may have grown past swords and giant hammers and stuff, but we will never trully get past a good old combat knife for close quarters combat. dont make it selectable, just make it so B can use the combat knife instead of doing that retarded elbow thing.
