more ship fights!
have all of our squad members old/new come back to be apart of the normandy crew again
a new normandy (or upgrade the SR2 and make it bigger with more rooms/places to go in it)

In ME3 I would like to see the normandy arriving through the mass relay at the other end of a jump.
Right now we only see them being launched by the mass relay at one end and I think it would give people a better sense of travel if we saw both parts of the jump.
just a thought.

1. New Technology
2. Friendships/Connections
3. Side Quests
4.Rare minerals that grant special abilities to weapons
It is my opinion that ME2 is filled with too many resources. I was never concerned about mis-management. This is a problem, because the game turns into the simple task of collecting without thought or fear of upgrading myself unintelligently. Imagen if there was a limited amount of resource "X" and it was protected and hidden across several planets. That would increase the RPG aspects of the game and give the player the interesting and adventurous task of:
1. searching the planets with a vehicle,
2. Fighting criminals that may be protecting the resources.
3. Carefully using the limited resource "X" to not only enhance their crew, but their ability to get more resources.
In conclusion, ME3 needs to have systems in place that reward and punish good and bad decision making, and remove a broken monitairy system that serves no purpose in the game.

1. More engaging, cool slow feeling and noticeable music
I wish the music was sometime less 'epic' and more like the main menu music in the 1'st game, also that there are more music to make a great feeling to the game, I felt it fell a little short of this, Games like the Hitman series would not be fun and engaging unless the music made you feel that way. (I recommend Jesper Kyd for the music, check the music in assassins creed 2, it is mind blowing and filled the game with feeling and style)
2. making moral choices invisible
IF you are going away from the old RPG feel for this game, (which i believe you are) then I think you should remove the paragon/renegade bars. Why not let things like that be invisible? OR at least make it a option in the game to turn them of. I think this will make it even more a cinematic feel where you do what you want to do, black or white, moral or unmoral not thinking if it's good or bad for your paragon/renegade bars
3. Mid mission loyal/unloyal choices
Of cause I don't know if you want to implement the loyal missions in the 3 installment, but I felt i was too easy to gain the loyalty/trust. Why not make some of the moral choices under a main mission? that they can dislike/like, or that in the middle of a mission you run into a team member's arc enemy and you choose to go after him instead of completing your main mission and therefore gaining his trust and in the same time there is a consequence to the action you choose... just for some, others can have a direct mission like in ME2. In the end of ME2 it begun to feel like a easy chore to gain their loyalty
4. Burning bridges
It would be nice that you sometimes felt that you missed out on something because of the choice you made, in ME2 it were kind of easy to complete it all and to have seen it all in one play through (luckily you can play with another good/evil char) sometimes it just makes the game more engaging when you regret (or are happy with) you choices.
5. elevators (love 'em)
I quite liked the elevators! the news that you hear, the small conversations, that is great! static load screens... not so much. I love the ME universe (incl. the books and comix) but I did not feel I wanted to stand and listen to a screen (in ME2). Also It kind of broke the feeling of it being ONE universe, going from place to place, room to room, it kinda separated the 'big feeling' I thought it was SO great in ME1 that you felt you still were playing and not waiting when in the elavators, but maybe i'm alone on this one. just make something different that the 'cut in the action/feeling' game loading screen. the static load screens made you realize that this is only a game (in the bad way)
I think this it it, Of cause I also thought about the skills, weapons choices, armour customization 'always helmet on' and other things, but in my eyes these things are minor choices. the important thing in this game is the feeling, the pace, love, the friendships and the universe.
And you Guys do such a great job making the universe feel GREAT! keep up the good inspiring work!

Funny you should say that i always thought of the sending mass relay as a pitcher and the receiving one as a catcher.

There's not much I feel the need to stick in a wishlist for ME3, I presume Bioware are going to mesh the two previous games together and produce something incredible, and they have my full support in whatever they do.
Actually, the only thing I'd like them to do is when you stop off at a planet, have the entire squad-crew leave the ship with you and hang about on the planet, in the same locations that you would normally be able to 'talk to' them if they were in your party. Maybe sometimes they'll have something interactive to do with them and maybe sometimes they'll just be static and say a one-liner.
I'm also in the seemingly small band of people that wants about 17 squadmates for ME3.

2. More planets that can be explored instead of just scanning them, yes most of them are unsuitable eg gas giants, high pressure gravity or extreme high temps or cold to land on them
3. Please no more scanning planets as man after listening to "Probe away, probe launched and launching probe sayings gets a bit mighty annoying
4. More city hubs
5. Differnet alien races
6 . How about a different galaxy system instead of the milky way system that ME1,ME2 that is was based in

More weapon upgrades that can alter the apperence of the weapon and give it different attributes.
More Citadel! I was saddend by it in ME2. It was cool, but I wanted to go outside the Zakara wards.

1. No load screens - give me a ingame cinematic, lift or anything that doesnt take me out of the game. I do enjoy an illusion of a continuous world vs lvls
2. No mission complete screen- report to whoever is in charge (council, anderson, tim) and an email about what was found achieved
3. Helmet tubes- those small details that make me think this game is not rushed
4. Blue/red lights - maps with over the top lighting like me1. Gives me the feel of 70s SciFi
5. Film Grain- option to choose lvls of film grain. stronger vs weaker. Stronger grain again gives me the SciFi feel
6. Armors for squad- yeah.. i dont think i need to explain that one
7. Mods for guns - Ammo shouldnt be a talent.. it should be a mod for weapons. i mean c'mmon.. really..
8. Movable world objects- Push/pull etc.. effecting crates like in Me1 and expand it to all crates not just some
9. Better maps - make them more..lifelike.. not something that was made so i can reach point a to fight, point b to talk, point c to kill boss
10. Normandy docks- hated undocking each time i went to ship.
11. Landable planets- make a random map generator for planets, slap some reds, blues and a sky maps and let me ride around and walk about. You dont even have to put anything on them.. i just need the feel i can explore around the galaxy
Thx

I totally agree with many of your ideas, especially the one about the music. ME1 had slow music that touched the soul. It was as though Bio ware was trying to tell a great tragedy. My only hope for ME3 is they realize that many many people like ME1 and they incorporate some of its style and mood into ME3.

any way i would like to see more time on the citidal may be another attack by one reaper that spurr's the council to follow shepard and do as he say's. more story driven missions and less side mission filler. planet scaning sucked! we should be able to loot the bodies of the dead we kill for cred's,tech, armor and upgrades. our reagade or pararmor points and stats should follow with us and be able to max out and stay with your charactor as long as you use that one charactor
lvl up i think being able to max out on all skills and powers would be a good idea.
but as for exploring planets make it optional and let us use the hammer head instead of something like the mako. just upgrade the hammerhead so it can take a beating and give one as well.
and being that this was a m rated game how about giving us a lot more skin action like they have in god of war three and there was in mass 1.
as for the cities well each one should have there own set of unique missions but ulamatly conect to the bigger one. bring all normandy pesrsonal back together to stop a reaper invasion. do somkthing with geno****e and clan urdnot
we should be able to buy the upgrade for weapons and armor and biotics and not research them this it what we bought all those dam licences for in mass 1. but keep the research option if you do feel like mining the mineral you come across's while exploing .
ok so about the querian flotilla and the geth. we now know a little bit more about them lets expand on this tali's people are about to start a war with the geth to retake there home wold and space there about is what i gathered from talking with th admirals. and then there is our new team mate leagion he and tali could eather come to a divde and were one would kill the other and sheard comes in and u make a choise you help tali and her people destoy the geth you make the peace while there on the team or you make them work things out that can later bring peace betwean the geth and the querians that saves the lives of both races .
to all who read please let me know what you think of my thought's sorry for miss spelled words in a hurry

Pretty much this. Personally I cant imagine how any other system would work.
For example in ME3, the recruitable character number will be around what...20? (ME1+ME2+new ME3 characters) Add the exploring - gathering side quests to that, and the fact that the Reapers are on their way to wipe out the entire galactic civilization.
Its obvious, that you simply wont have the time to recruit everyone and gather every resource you want.
I think it would increase the replay value if (etc..) after gathering X squadmates and making Y sidequests you are forced to go to the final fight (a _much_ longer one than in ME2 :-P ).

More character development and dialouge.
More choices and a deeper experience.
Gameplay fim flam is secondary, focus on what makes Bioware unique.
I will not be satisfied until ME3 has more lines of recorded dialouge than Baldur's Gate II + expansion had written, use however many game discs you must.

1) a bigger and better Citadel, like a combinatioon of the ones from ME1+2, plus some ME3 enhancements, like more shops for non-mission related things, like a place to buy civvies and change your hair without reconstructing your whole face.
2) More hub planets, maybe even some of the alien homeworlds that are only refernced to in-game, like Palaven. That would also be an excuse to show us what female aliens look like (the asari don't really count), because there's a male-dominated feeling in places like the Citadel. Is it too much to ask for for us to see female turians, salarians, and krogan running around?
3) Any quarian, especially Tali'Zorah, unmasked. Self-explanitory.
4) This one I'm less adament about, but I still feel like it should be addressed: Joker as an LI. Seriously. I understand that he's supposed to be fragile, but c'mon, really, if he were THAT fragile he wouldn't be able to sit down all day or walk at all. Also, he's supposed to be a good friend of Shepard's like Tali and Garrus, and all three of them will have been with him/her since ME1, so it only seems fair that he be given that same amount of consideration. Not to mention that it'll make his fangirls happy, because I happen to know several of them.

2. Make the citadel more like it was back in me1 the new area was sorta lame.
3. Have the surviving squad members from me1 and 2 come back along with new charecters for the team.
4. Be able to pilot the normandy in battle or at least a little fighter
5. A mission into Dark space to find out more about the Reapers.
6. A huge Space battle against the reapers.
7. An ending that is tottaly awsome!
8. Better Tech skills since the only decent ones were AI hack and inceration

edi should be given a a holographic form and the ability to leave the ship with shepard, imagine a mission where she could take over a heavy mech for a whole mission
