i would love to see more weapons, customizable weapons and more armor pieces..............
for example, silencers, scopes, stocks, barrels, pretty much personalize a weapon. silencers could make you attract less attention to your self and let your squad mates take a few hits instead of you.
since bioware wanted more of a shooter/action game in me2, they should take it to the next level for mass effect 3

*edit : -1 or 2 stealth missions like like in splinter cell or the sniper missions in cod 6 and cod 4
-more loyalty missions for squad mates
-a few new squad mates would be sick
-a bit more freedom during missions and more main missions, since me2 seems to put more emphasis on                 recruiting squad mates than on defeating collectors
-more ammo types with significant bonuses and differentiates from others (unlike warp ammo/AP ammo                   shredder ammo, which is pretty much useless)

I would enjoy to see more wildlife along with of course, exploration...all these planets and not some form of a mutated cat? Or another species walking around with alien pets? Maybe even...giant birds. Growing up, I used to imagine that another planet somewhere, is still in the beginning stages of it's Jurassic period... I know that's an entirely different idea & subject compared to ME, but is there no other planet just inhabited by some form of giant killer beasts, or animals? But then again, there probably was one planet mentioned somewhere in their bios, but you were unable to land. Posted Image

More missions like when the collectors capture the Normandy and you have to play as Joker. This would be a great way to incorparate playing as other sqaud members. Maybe in each sqaudmates loyalty mission you have the option of playing as that sqaud member. This approach would'nt take anything away from the story of Shepard and would make alot of gamers happy.

I know it'd be a fair bit of work but i'd love to see a modular squad. By that I mean shepard has say 12 slots, and can only recruit that many, but there are many more available. That way we can have new characters, plus recruit familar faces (if they've survived). I'd also live more optional recruitment. Nobody is forced onto you.

Also i'd like to see some characters refuse to join shepard depending on his paragon/renegade alignment. Also i'd be really awesome to reward players on the Insanity difficulty by having a insanity only squadmate.

Perhaps a squadmate that'd only join if you're aligned with the Alliance or Cerberus.

I'd also like to see a recruitable crew system, where old characters like Mordin may join Shepard but only on the Normandy, they're not useable in the squad. That way you could have a Hanar or Elcor join the crew.

This would increase replay value as well.

So, in conclusion: Hanar Requisitions Officer on the Normandy FTW. (and perhaps a N7 mission to the Hanar/Drell homeworld.)

Please put homosexuality back into the game. At least the romance between Liara and the female Commander. I was so incredibly disappointed when there was none int he second game. The Commander is a blank slate, one should be able to put themselves in him or her as much as possible. It was in the first game, don't chicken out for the rest of the series. We are a valid part of the community. Backing down because of fear of backlash is something I never thought I'd see the Bioware team do. Please at leats allow romance to continue with Liara and the female Commander. If not for the sake of decency, then for the sake of continuity.

Less loading, especially on the ship between levels. Should not take a long time to load up captains cabin. I love the engineers humor. Would have been cool if as a mini game you could play game of cards with you crew, with some good ole trash talking. Perhaps along the lines of that 70s show round table or the poker games in star trek the next generation. Even as just a small cut-scene it would add atmosphere. I had purchased the deluxe digital edition and felt somewhat cheated. In that, I just ended up wearing the N7 armor as i could customize it. That and the infernal armor with see through glass instead of reflective as suggested by the image given was a let down. It actually went from cool looking to awkward. I would also like to not be limited so in which weapons i use. If i'm vanguard i would prefer to use shotgun as my primary weapon, but with only a handful of rounds, silly for future tech, i end up using a pistol more then not. Same with infiltrator and sniper rifle. Some more atmospheric missions versus stale corridor after corridor structure. Some black ops like side missions/decision that can impact the game. IE assassination of say a council member. Would love a hk-47 (believe that's the right designation of the droid from kotor) archetype crew member. Like more stuff similar to getting the dr her brandy, with some of the other crew members. Last, but not least, POLISH the game. Less bugs, less glitches. I want this game to get 10/10 from most gaming sites. ;)

I gave it some thought, and I just want to throw some wishes out there, maybe Bioware might like them ( fingers crossed)

Melee wish

1. Hope we get to see some improvements in the hand to hand combat in ME3
(maybe some grappling and solid choke holds, or quick takedowns based on what weapon your using, or a finisher attack option for when your enemys are knocked down to the ground, or stunned in biotic stasis ; similiar to the biotic finisher attack that Samara does in most of her cutscenes)

Character wish

1. Maybe alot more options to customize your Shepard with, after all this is a RPG it would be nice to personalize your Shepard with greater detail. (such as a variety of futuristic accessories like bracelets, earrings, watches, chains, hats, sunglasses, bandanna's, and a wider assortment of modern hairstyles for your Shepard. It would be a nice change to have hairstyles that are shoulder length or longer. Curly, braided, straight, different hair bangs, etc, and maybe more facial options to make  the facial custimization portion of the game much more detailed, like cheek size, cheek fullness, eyelid curve, eyebrow curve, nostrail size, nose bridge curve, etc)

2. Maybe for the last installment for the series ; we can get the chance to customize Shepards body to our own personal liking . Normally we customize the characters face and neck and that’s all.
( perhaps we can alter Shepard’s proportions in ME3, like the hips, chest, arms, and overall body so Shepard can appear more masculine ,feminine, muscualr or less .  It would also  be interesting to have the option to give  Shepard tattoos,or scars, and custimize where you want to place it  on his/her body. It should give gamers more freedom to personalize they're Shepard to there liking)

3. Maybe they'll remove that look up, right, left, and down system for character customization in ME3
( I wish they would just let you fully rotate your character to your desired angle for the character creation , I've had a really hard time creating my Shepard the way I want because the face angles provided were limited to looking left, right, up, or down. You are allowed to fully rotate your Shepard when you custimize your armor, so why not allow a full rotation for facial custimization.  If they want to keep it that’s there call ofcourse, but they really might want to consider adding a fully controlled character rotation for the face)

4. Maybe some new armors that are thinner and less battlefield oriented ( I liked the armor system in ME1 where you had a choice of choosing either light weight, medium weight, or heavy weight armor, I wish that for ME3 they will implement that again without limiting the armors to classes in addition to the new armor textures, and color changes in ME2, and since most of your squad in ME2 didn’t wear armor on the battlefield maybe Shepard can also have that available option in ME3)

5. I Wish that in ME3 bioware would make Shepards hair animate in accordance to the environment or situation in the game. I noticed that in both ME1 and ME2 Shepard has been in areas with high wind, ran through gunfire, Shot off large heavy weapons, and Biotic energy, but his/her hair has never moved, or been blown in the wind. I don’t know if its difficult to get the desired effect in real-time gameplay, but I’ve seen games achieve this effect quite nicely, and It might bring an even more deeper sense of realism to the characters, and enviroment if Bioware implements this is ME3.

Weapons wish

1. Maybe a little more control over what weapons you bring into the battlefield
( Normally in ME2 you are forced to choose a pistol, submachine gun, shotgun or assault ,and a heavy weapon, but normally I use only one gun to complete the mission, and the others are just there for nothing. It would be convenient to have an option to equip only the type of guns you want to take with you on the mission or wherever your traveling to and leave the rest behind on your ship, instead of being forced to carry weapons you wont use)

2. Maybe you can customize your weapons to make them more unique in ME3
( Like change the color, or give it a color pattern, and maybe some weapon attachments  that increase your clip size to a greater value.)

N7 Mission wish

1. Maybe expand the exploration missions (N7 missions) a little more in ME3.
( It would be a major plus to make the N7 missions provide more objectives to accomplish , and would make them feel more significant, )The Overload DLC for ME2 was a huge step in the right direction, and it would be great if all N7 missions for ME3 were that detailed.

ME2 Mineral Scanner wish

1. Maybe they will improve that for ME3 ;Personally I think it would have been much better if you're able to toggle the scan function.( My only problem with using the mineral scanner was that for the Xbox 360 version ,you had to hold down on the left trigger and keep it held down for however long it takes for you to locate a mineral, It would be much less strenuous if you didn’t have to use so much energy on holding down a button.

Paragon/Renegade wish

1. Maybe for ME3 you will be allowed to keep your paragon/renegade points after you've finished a playthrough, and decide to play it again. I think that Bioware made a great improvement to not make the paragon/renegade points a character ability like in ME1. I hope that Bioware keeps this adjustment, but with the exception of allowing gamers to fully level up both there paragon/ renegade gauge, and be allowed to keep it for additional playthrough’s of that character.

Experience Points Wish
1. I wish that ME3 will allow you to acquire enough points over time to fully max out all the skills for your character Bioware made a smart move in ME2 by allowing gamers to clear out there skills, and refill them again at any point on your ship. But I didn’t like that I would have to cut out a skill in order to use another, and I know there are ways to compensate for that left out skill with the use of your teammate, however if a gamer chose to be either an adept, or soldier class than they should be allowed to use all of its abilities to the fullest at any time they choose, instead of having to switch up there skill set every time they want to see something new. I’m not suggesting to make the experience points ridiculously easy to acquire, but I am saying that it should be allowed.(maybe make a certain number of points accessible only in a specific game difficulty; insanity or harder)

Story wish

1. I know alot of people have mentioned it, but I really would like to see Aria again in ME3. Maybe Bioware can tie her more deeply into Shepards story.

2. I would like to see what Tali looks like without her protective helmet , or perhaps an unmasked Quarian in ME3.

3. I hope Bioware gives the fans a look  at some female Turian's, Salarians, Batarians, Drell and Krogans. It was brought up several times in ME2.

4. Maybe bring back Kasumi for ME3. I thought she was a fun addition to the squad, and it would be great to see her again with some more dialogue.

5. Why are there no children walking around with there families in ME? Its hard to imagine a community without some little kids walking and playing around. It would be pretty amusing to see an Asari, Salarian, or Quarian child giving they're parents a hard time in ME3.

6. I wish ME3 would let you play a small segment of Commander Shepards past life before He/She joined The Alliance.(When you start your play through you have to chose to be either a Spacer, Colonist, or Earthborn who is a sole survivor, War hero, or Ruthless. I know that you're  told about shepard's past in the codex, but  It would be cool to see if Bioware can work in some short of flash back moment for whatever profile you chose to be, were your able to play that moment in commander Shephards life. If this is the last game of the series, It would be great to play through our Hero’s/Heroin’s origins)

7. I wish that Bioware would let the fans step into Geth Territory in ME3, I mean they gave us Legion, why not let use see whats beyond the Vail. Maybe work that into Shepards story somehow.

Combat Wish

1. Wish that the Cover system is improved to be alittle more dynamic in ME3.
( The cover system in ME2 was ok, but it was pretty basic, it could stand to be alittle more advanced and on par with the more current shooter styles. Little things like swooping/dashing from one cover point to another, instead of getting up from the cover point and taking fire on your way to the next, or a blind fire system for those close encounters.)

2. Wish that the Sprint Duration and speed  is increased by a greater margin.
(ME2 did a pretty good job increasing how long you can sprint with the leg armors, but it still feels like your not running for a very long period of time. Maybe ME3 will let you sprint for an almost unlimited duration, and provide upgrades that will allow Shepards running pace to noticeably increase to a significantly large value)

3. Wish the over the shoulder camera angle can be switched from the right and to the left.
(I’ve seen alot of games implement this system were the main character can shoot from both the left arm and the right, and it often changes the over the shoulder camera angle from the left side or the right. ME2 only allowed Shepard to shoot from the right, maybe ME3 will implement this system to improve the shooter portion of the game.)

I would like to see more investigation as it was in ME1 rather then just recruit and fight like in ME2. It was cool to look after all these clues and evidance to find out what Saren is looking for. It would be nice to end the love stries from both parts, i mean, after the collectors fight Ash/Kaidan discovers that you were right so he/she might want to come back or smthg but then there is the second partner from ME2. But new remances would kill this game, that's what i think.

As for our decisions I would like to see that we have influence on the space. I mean, letting the Niralli Bathia's body beeing tested would end up with a new tech in ME3. Or sending the infos about Cerberus to the Shadow Broker will end up with Liara fighting for her life or that sort of stuff. Make the small decisions from the hole game mean something. Give us the feeling that we are realy there, that we have our role in the space politics and conflicts.

I want to be able to reply back to personal messages with Paragon/Renegade responses lol

For example, when I read Han Olar (Volus at Noverai Peak 15) was in therapy, it would've been nice to say I was alive and thankyou or I'm dead and going to kill you and of the sort hahah.

I would like more customizable armor. I always run around and see the Blue Suns and the Eclipse with their snazzy armor and what not, and wish that either I could get a set of that armor, or make one myself. Make it so you can choose the 3 colors (main, sec, accent) and also a logo or emblem. It would also be cool if you could put that armor onto your squad, so your whole team looked like they actually were working with each other, and not just a rag tag bunch of galaxy savers.

It's me again. I have some ideas to the missions. I would like to see more quests where you work as a team, like the last mision in ME2. Like you and 2 companions are breaking in and stealing something and the others are clearing the path or geting the attention of the enemy to themselves.

As for the exploration, in ME1 and 2 you have visited a lot of places. There are still many mass relays undiscoverd i hope but the ones we knew are already explored. How many times you want to visit tha same planet? But i agree with the thought to make such missions more complicated like the one grom bring down the sky. It was cool, a nice change. Mako was boring, just jumping and falling from mountains not even damaging the vechicle. It was horible. The hammerhead is better. And the space fight wouldn't be such interesting. Joker is the pilot and EDI the gunner. What will you do? Say turn left? Joker knows better how to avoid things and EDI know better when to shoot. As it is an RPG game I want to see more side quest, not loyality or team collecting quest. Just something like the one for Kahoku, looking for a missing squad.

I don't know if this has been mentioned, but what about bringing back crouching. My biggest issue with the lack of a crouch toggle is that moving from cover to cover means taking hits from enemy fire.

I'm curious if anybody thinks incorporating a prone position would be a good idea. However, it shouldn't be limited to Shepard. The whole squad should be able to go prone instead of being bullet sponges. Granted, having a prone position would mean expanding the combat area in some cases and having more variable combat engagements. I would like to see some story and side mission where there are long range sniping missions.

I have quite a huge list of things I want changed and things I liked and wanted to see carried over. Some things may have already been mentioned also by other people already. There are also some added ideas of
mine on how to fix them for ME3 in the list. I also tried separated the list into a post for each part of the list so there is not a huge post taking up the whole page of the forum. So to begin the list would be….

1.     Weapons

I loved the weapon upgrades in ME2 for the weapons such as the SMG damage upgrade
that has 5 levels of research to upgrade it to the max. This makes sure the weapons scale on damage with you when you level up and even for the squad mates using the type of guns. This also made the beginning guns still useful. Most other FPS/RPG games make you toss aside your beginning weapons for ones down
the line since they become inferior. They also have the issue of where one weapon in its class rules over all. An example from ME2 is if you went infiltrator, the Widow Sniper rifle was the best and almost everyone who played
that class went with it or for the assault rifles everyone used or recommended the Geth pulse rifle.

Another issue was variance of weapons. What I mean by that is ME2 had a good amount of different
types, like SMG, assault rifles, pistols, sniper rifles, etc. What ME2 needed was more than only 2-3 pistol variants or more then 2 SMGs to choose from (3 now with locust in the Kasumi Goto add-on).  They don't need to go wild like they did on ME1 and add five diffrent ones though. What they need to do is add maybe 2 or 3 more to the types that only have 2-3 variants. This problem can also tie in with what I talked about how one variant rules a certain type of weapon. This is most likely due
to the damage difference between the weapons. My idea to solve this is to add 3 damage stats to weapons. Health damage, Armor damage, and Shield damage. I know that they added weapon upgrades to some of the weapon types for this (Like AP sniper damage) but should really tie those stats into the weapon variants
themselves rather than the upgrades for all. An example would be if the SMG  Tempest had Medium HP damage, High Shield damage, but had low damage against armor while compared to the hypothetical
locust doing Medium HP, low Shield, and high armor damage. This would ensure
that people would tie in their skills to make up for the weapons lack of damage
against a certain type and to help eliminate one gun ruling over all. The
upgrades from how ME2 did them for the weapons should not really differentiate
how each one works for a person, but should make sure the damages scale with the
players level.

Other factors for the guns are range and accuracy. The SMG and shotgun class showed
quite a bit of difference here. The Tempest SMG sucked at long range compared to the new locust, though the clip size was bigger for the tempest compared to the locust. What they should do is for a weapon class, standardize the range and accuracy, making sure they have all the same. An example would be all sniper rifle variants would have the same range and accuracy compared to each other, but would have different strengths on damage. Then let the player use something like ME1s version of upgrading your weapons specs by attachments.  These attachments would have to be like ME1 and be separate from ME2 upgrade style since the ME2 upgrade system is mainly to help scale the weapon with difficulty as you level and not to make the weapon unique. If they want more accuracy on the sniper rifle, let them attach a better scope. If they want more range, let them attach an extended barrel. What should not be altered here by attachments is the damage. If they go with the
idea to scale the damage with the player, putting the attachments to alter damage may give the play way to much of an advantage and ruin the challenge of the game. They should also avoid recoil attachments and such so they aren’t adding way to many different types of attachments that mod the gun in different ways
other than accuracy and range leading to worthless attachments that just take up space and are considered by all worthless.

This is the second on my wish list for ME3 changes with some of my ideas.

2.  Armor

How ME2 did armor was one of the best things I liked about the game. You could mix
and match to create the armor that is not only unique to your character, but is also helping him out with stat increases such as the +5% to shield. The only two downsides so far for the main character was there wasn’t much to choose from for customization (Like only having 4 different chest pieces) and some of the preorder packs and DLC had one piece armor suits such as the Cerberus heavy armor and Terminus armor. ME3 doesn’t need like 10 different chest pieces though and I would think just adding 2 more making it 6 would be great. I also liked
the fact that armor had the same type of upgrade system as weapons, making sure that no matter what you wore, they scaled with your level. This made customization of how Shepard looked all the much easier and better.  What should also be included in ME3 is how you customize your squad’s looks. I didn’t like the fact that they only had two suits to choose from and you couldn’t get any armor bonuses from wearing them like Shepard does in the game. The stat increases where fine though. They weren’t really game breaking, but they did help to make your character unique stat wise.

On my earlier posts they seem a little out of wack on paragraph form and I am sorry for this if it makes it kind of difficult to read, but so far I can’t find a way to fix it :S so please bear with me. For my third part of my wish list is…

3. Squads

The squad setup was a little disappointing to me on ME2. Most of the time they were
dumb as rocks if left alone on hardcore/insanity settings (They should at least know to stay in cover if they are wounded) and when you acquired some on the story plotline. Legion would have been a fun squad mate to take along for a lot of missions if it wasn’t for the fact you get him close to the ending. This also didn’t leave a lot of room for experimenting with squad mate make ups since you have members being added all throughout the game.  They should do what they did with ME1 and give you almost all of your squad near the beginning. This allows you to experiment and find out the best squad make up for you character. I also miss some of the
dialogue with them. In ME2 it just seemed kind of like most of your squad was just general soldiers were you had not real connection to them other then the fact you help them with one personal issue. I’m not saying add more missions that are companion involved like the loyalty missions, but add more dialogue so you have more of an understanding of the character. I also don’t want to hear their whole life story though either, just enough to satisfy my curiosity about them and to get to know who they are. They also need to work on the AI on the squad mates.
When telling them a position where there is cover, they would sometimes just stand in the open near it without taking cover.  It also infuriated me that when I ran into a conflict and I didn’t issue orders they would not take cover most of the time. They would also pop out when near death to try and shoot instead of staying behind cover until they where back to full health. This made them only useful for a distraction and for their abilities.

EDIT: I also forgot to mention adding more companion banter when moving around, like in ME1 in the elevator or like dragon age.

For the fourth installment of my wish list contains four different things that tie in together with each other.

4.  Levels/Mission/Dialogue/Difficulty

Mission this time around where quite fun to me, especially some of the dialogue options
using the mouse for renegade/paragon.  Those options really defined who you wanted Shepard to be.  One of the best examples is when you are talking to the krogan above the explosive tank on Dr. Mordin Solus’s loyalty
mission.  Giving that option to just blow up the tank instead of him ranting was a pretty cool and fun option that I really liked.  One part of the missions I didn’t like was the variance of enemy’s strengths/weaknesses. Most of the time you where sent cannon fodder material, them having only health or, on harder difficulties, having shields most of the time.  To fix this, they should add more variance to the enemy’s defenses.  An example would be  having all the heavies with rocket launchers with shields instead of shields and the basic soldiers
with armor. I liked how they did the tough enemies by giving them all of the defenses such as hp, armor and shields. It made sure you couldn’t take them out fast without using your head a bit. They should also add a defense to the enemy (such as armor or shield) to make sure you have to use a bit of tactics
regardless of difficulty but shouldn’t make it so difficult that you can’t really make one mistake without dying (Unless on harder difficulties like insane). The difficulty level should just determine how many points in their HP,
armor and shield stats they have.
The mission variance was quite enjoyable this time.  They do need to add more than just the gun them down type of missions, but even then they made some of them really enjoyable. Grunt’s loyalty mission is a perfect example. It’s was the basic gun them down type, but with added challenge of getting an achievement for killing the thresher maw and that the achievement extends its effect to the dialogue and actions with certain characters.  What I don’t like is the fact that if you wanted to get the Geth pulse rifle you needed to be on hardcore. It just made it seem that people who did normal and below were punished by excluding the content rather than it feeling like it’s rewarding the people who played on higher difficulties.  Don’t get me wrong,
they should get a reward on higher difficulties for their efforts, but it shouldn’t be something that can really make a person regret running through it on normal the first time just to learn they missed some nice weapons or
equipment.

Another thing I would like to see is something like the Firewalker add-on for ME2. It replaces the Mako and the mission setup was fun. There was no annoying having to run around to explore in the mako that really made it terrible.  I also like the fact of it being able to jump and hover for awhile. It gives us a new way to play with the vehicle rather than the normal drive up and start shooting. What would be really neat is if you could customize your vehicle also. I don’t mean by abilities either, since it would add a new aspect that could break the enjoyment of the vehicle and not to mention it might bring back the nightmares of the ME1 Inventory system. But what should be able to be done is customize its looks.  Doing something like the armor for shepard except for the vehicle would be nice and defiantly don’t make it use ammo or it could become quite a bother real fast.

The fifth and final part of my list.

5.  Miscellaneous

This is all the extra stuff that wouldn’t fit in the other sections. First off, exploring. It was horrid on ME1, better but limited in ME2.  They need to expand on it, but not so you wonder around for hours in the vehicle, or that you spend time with the boring scanning of a planet.  Maybe doing a short mini game with the probe or using it like a vehicle would fix this. Money also needs to be expanded on. If you didn’t have bonuses when you created your character, you were almost broke constantly and barely could get every piece of equipment and upgrade.  They need to make it so money is used for something more to justify putting huge amounts in though, like buying certain resources for upgrades or even buying a base of operations on a planet to build up a force to deal with the reapers.  Romance needs to be worked on also. The reason it is not with squad wish list is because I think it should be expanded beyond just them and having more experiences with it.  On ME 1 & 2 romances were just an excuse to see a short scene before you go on the impossible mission.  ME3 should let you expand in different way on this allowing you to go in the direction you want. For example, getting let in more of the personal life of your romance partner then you would if you were just friends, or opening more action option with them such as being able to invite them up to the captain’s cabin for different romance scenes which, ME3 will still probably keep the best for that moment before the impossible is done no matter what, but should at least include some minor ones.  Also you should be able to expand to other than just your squad mates like what ME2 did with Kelly.  Also, for the sake of all the fans out there, show us how Tali looks like!!!
