I read some posts where you write about plot and endings and that sort of stuff. I think BioWare already wrote the whole story.

And as for the tech stuff. I want to see an upgraded dialogues. Let the ending count the points you get not the way you act. I mean I wanted to make an agressive paragon femShep and failed because she always got renegade point or not at all. Also more missions where the whole team is involved. I was disapointed  when I went to some important missions with two squadmembers and the rest was waiting on the ship. Some small inventory as I wrote before just for upgrades and parts to study. Maybe no more skills but let the biotics use them at the same time. Don't block others when using one. a little more wepons like 4-5 for each type and bring back stats for each one of them. I don't want any interactable dogfights but some fight cinematics would be fine (not just the ending).

ME1 was fully RPG with FPS elements.
ME2 was fully FPS with RPG elements.
ME3 should be RPGFPS.

Oh uh just to let you in on a secret, THERE WAS NOT A SINGLE FPS MOMENT IN THE GAME. It was third person 99.99% percent of the time.

Another wish for ME3 bring back M4 Part II.

I have said this multiple times now.

Bring back ME1 with some of the actual improvements of ME2.

Mass Effect 2:  Experience Rainbow Six Vegas in Space(in 3rd Person!).

I would just love to see the story as co-op. Even if there are some missions where you can't have multiple people still would be lots of fun. Plus, I'm pretty sure many people would love to have missions where you each control a team and have to help each other out to continue. =D

Well, whatever they do, I pray they keep (and enhance) combat from ME2. Protection system (armor/barrier/shield) worked good, action game-ish combat really fit the universe too.

I would agree about bringing back some skills, like Pistols or Assault Rifles (leave armor exclusive to Sentinels), but not the degree from ME1 where Marksmanship-enhanced pistol was pretty much unstoppable. I also agree that weapon mods would be a neat idea. And it would be sweet if they also made your guns look different.

class-specific heavy weapons - not so much. They're heavy weapons - reserved for that "Oh crap" second when you know sneaking won't get your quad out of trouble. Or when you face something that's big and dangerous and firing some rockets/'nades at it will soften it up.

ME2 was great
Keep the new combat system
Keep the armour and casual appearance selector, but have a wider range of customisable armour and casual clothes.
The research/inventory system ismuch better than ME1, please keep it!
Bring back the use of omni gel, for repairing armour/vehicles or mission objectives within missions. Onboard you can use it to create new power cells or thermal clips to replenish ammunition before the next mission. Omni gel can be bought from stores or scavenged within the game
More hub worlds (at least 5)
The new scripted assignments are much better than ME1 and provide a better story and more in depth back ground, however i would like a few "scripted" exploration missions (as opposed to aimless wandering in the mako) where you may have to find artifacts, lost colonists/ miners or find new resources for mining companies (could be a new form of side quest, recieving ingame emails from mining companies to find resources in return for a steady trickle of elements after each mission, like the cerberus funding)
During quieter missions, include more environmental/ techno puzzles
Wider range of wildlife please and im still waiting to see a female turian or batarian (just to improve the diversity)
Finally i was playing ME2 the other day and fighting a bunch of drones, and suddenly had a thought that the mass effect field technology in the drones must be small enough to fit into a backpack. So could you research a mass effect jump pack as a upgradeable technology. I don't mean full flight, but a small mass effect field generator could negate 75 percent of an adults mass, thus allowing for very long, or very high jumps. This will allow designers to create more challenging levels and more tactical firefights by allowing players to jump for high ground or cross chasms or platforms. Food for thought

this.

What they've done with that is amazing. They've generated random planets right down to the land-mass. Imagine flying around in Mass Effect 3 and entering orbit like that, would make exploring the galaxy epic.

the only things that bugged me in ME 2 is the Cover System for our Squadmates.

If i give the order to get into Cover than i expect that my mates go in to Cover not stumble around the map or kneel before cover and do nothing. Please fix that in ME3, give us an Coversystem that when i order and my Squad they do exactly that.

the next thing are the discrepancy between the Planet discription and Planet Models. For exaple if it say in the discription there was a bombardment, than also show it on Planet model

thats all that comes to mind *g*

-Apply ammunition to weapon selection wheel.

-Restore the ability to use powers on shielded foes/ loosen ability constraints.

-Cease making cheap 'flinch animations' that lock up all Shepard's reactions.

-Restore ultimate-level weaponry as reward for Insanity difficulty. (HM_X)

-Stop placing us in dog pens with Heavy Mechs.

-Update Heavy Mech mesh, stop copying Marvel: UA2.

-Just stop making Heavy Mechs... mostly.

-Needs moar HK-47.

-ALLOW CROUCH, even if it seems impractical TO YOU.

-Allow faster crouch movement/professional animation.

-Restore multiple concurrent powers availability from Mass Effect 1.

-Use Shared Cooldown, not Universal Cooldown.

-Consider more fluid sprint ergonomics.

Fantastic as it may be, if you think of that incorporated into the current ME games it'd have to come on about ten discs given what you actally have to do in the game! let alone, in the end, i think it's novelty will quickly wear off without changing the game dynamic.

Yeah, M4 Part II would be awesome. Also, bump for the idea that SpacerShep can meet his/her mother and bring along L.I. for extra dialogue.

I loved ME1 but not so much ME2, good game sure but ME1 was one off the best games I ever played. ME2 was to much shooter for me.

I didn't feel that I had so much freedom in ME2.

I liked the inventory in ME1, but maybe less items, you don't need 30 pistols, 50 upgrades etc.

Not shered cooldown for powers!

No ammo, cooldown time instead like in ME1, I hate to run out of ammo.

No mission ends.

Do ME3 like ME1, then I will be happy.

I have one suggestion. I have multiple playthroughs of each ME game (about 4 right now, probably be up to 6 by the time ME3 comes out), and I am planning on bringing each of these characters into ME3. Problem is, I often lose track of the choices I made with each individual character. I would love if there was some sort of journal or past mission log to remind of what happened and what I did in previous missions/episodes integrated into the game somehow.

Ty, I too have four playthroughs and think this is an excellent idea.

On a separate issue, someone mentioned children to make the universe more alive, and I wanted to add to that. Why not add a few more body types. How about a fat man or a really tall woman. It seems like every non-squadmate person has the same cookie-cutter body; everybody is the same height, every woman has that same figure. I understand you can't make everyone unique, but it seems you could add a few more variations.

And a few brainstorming ideas here: how about you add a Hanar or Volus crewman? Not as a squadmate (unless his name is Blasto) but as someone who works on the ship like Kelly or Mess Sergeant Gardner. And as a joke, how about the Normandy Requisition Officer come back as a minor "bad guy" in ME3, were he's a big time illegal-weapons dealer/smuggler that got his break because of all the business Shepard gave him!

Firstly, Biotic God needs to be recruitable in ME 3.

Lastly, I want to be able to take Jack up on her offer to go full on renegade pirate criminal badass.

More romance options (I want to get with Samara)

Squad members walk around the ship and interact with each other. More things like when Miranda and Jack were fighting.

Squad ask you more questions and stuff. In ME and ME2 you ask a majority of the questions with the squad member you are talking to maybe asking 1 question about you. I would like to see the NPCs ask me more questions and stuff so it feels more like a conversation is happening.

Squads either like or hate other squad members based partially on what you say to them alone and when they (the squad members) are talking to each other like the Miranda and Jack thing (though it doesn't always have to be a fight). I'd like the option of trying to come between friends and make them hate each other or do the opposite and make enemys like each other. I'd like to get squad members romantically involved with each other. Whether or not the squad members like each other changes what they say when they are with you and can change whether they will helps a character or not. For example if squad members really hate each other they could start arguing and fighting each other instead of the enemy whilst if they really like each other they could work well together and provide each other cover fire and get a buff whilst fighting together or something. Also during events like the end of ME2 it could change who lives or dies. A squad member might be shot during a cut scene and if the squad member they are with likes them they will drag them to safety but if they hate them they will leave them to die.

Better sex scenes.

More squad members from different spieces. In ME and ME2 you don't get squad members from every spieces and the ones you do get from different spieces you only get one of. I would like the option to have 2 Asari on my squad or 2 Quarians.

Female Turian and Krogan making an appearance.

More interaction with non squad members who are on your ship including my suggestion of been able to make them like or hate each other.

A moral system. The more battles you win and the better you do the higher the moral of your squad and crew and the better they will do in battle and looking after the Normandy. Losing battles, dying or letting squad members die (not permanent deaths) and letting squad members die (permanent cut scene deaths) lowers moral and your squad performs worse and the crew look after the normany worse. This would also change some of the dialog when talking to squad and crew members and the dialog you hear without ingaging in conversation with someone ie you might hear some crew talking to each other as you run past them about how they are all going to die if moral is low. The condition of the inside of the normandy would also change with low moral causing everything to look old and worn out and high moral making everything look shiny and new. Making speaches of the intercom also has an effect of moral.

More armour choices and customization for the N7 armour. Ability to toggle helmets. More clothing choices for squad members. Ability to design and have your crew wear a uniform.

Customization of the Normandy. This includes the placement of objects inside the Normandy such as seats, tables, weapon racks and wall paper as well as the abilty to change the exterior colour of the Normandy and add different patterns to the exterior.

Better sex scenes?

I cant believe how people think this is important in the game. *YAWN*

Romance...welll sure. But better dialogues and more interactions with characters in your squad and in the rest of the galaxy, wouldnt hurt.

as complex as you think it is, it actually isn't. This engine is going to be used for an MMO space game, and each and every planet right down to the land are randomly generated. So surprisingly, it won't take up as much space as you think it would (ten discs? nah). The only thing they'd have to do is to add specific details to the planets since only the terrain is generated with nothing much on it (at least that's what their algorithm does for now, from what i've read).

In any case this would be much more interesting than the planet scanning in ME2, and would bring back the explorative elements from ME1.

It looks nice but it aint what ME needs. Imagine the weeks or months it would take to explore just ONE planet? it isnt what ME is about. we would forget the main missions and just spend 5616 annoying hours to get 5000 credits, 500 iridium and a baseballcap, for exploring uranus with an annoying ship and crappy music like the ones in that ****ty demo.
