Earth! I would really really love to be able to visit Earth. I want to see what our planet would look like in the world on Mass Effect. I'm curious what the effects of all this alien technology has on the human race. I was so excited when I found our solar system in the ME1, but was a little disappointed when all we could do was visit the moon. As soon as I got a chance to visit our solar system again I was really let down when we couldn't land on anything in ME2. I hope we get a chance in ME3. It can be about the size of Omega or the Citadel in ME1. I'm blown away by all the big cities we go to (I wanna live on Ilium) and I really want to see want the creators would do with our own planet.

As far as things like gathering resources, I like ME2's probing a lot better than exploring the baren planets of ME1. However, it does get old after a while. Perhaps there's a way to mix the two, probing and exploring. Or maybe we can explore planets with varity. Some can be baren, some with lots of plants and native life other than tiny critters. It'd be cool to visit a plant like the one Jack was raise on with killer plants and other enemies to fight. Other planets don't have to have enemies at all. Also, it'd be nice if we didn't have to travel too far get from resource to resource.

I like the upgrade system in ME2. Less hassle compared to the first game. Never liked upgrading each weapon. Good job. Only the list of purchased upgrades is unnecessary, but I just ignore it.

hey did not really read everything but, for a soldier in particular, you should be able to modify at least that useless second barrel to hold a weaker,or lower ammo version of certain heavies. ie missile launcher, avalanche flamethrower, and even grenade launcher even though it is just concussive shot w/o recharge. in me3 just my opinion

I would Like to see a coopertive mode in mass effect. This game is so much fun but with a friend or two it would be better. you already have characters for it so why does every teammate have to be a computer?

MaxBendu2- Other then an economy we can actually interact with I would like more armour options for my Party. Colour change was so incredibly lame... and Garrus's armour is still damaged when it changes... WTF? I think Shepard's Armour screen was needed for all members. Have basically the same armour for each Character but allow upgrades, helmets and customise colours etc on those members. I felt like this was intended and then dropped? I actually want this in DLC for ME2 not wait 2-3 years for ME3.

Agreed more cutumization and more options for shepords armor

1. Drop the Paragon/Renagade mechanic. Just like in DA:O, let there only be actions and consequences. Keep the interrupts tough.

2. Let us see more of Earth and humanity asa whole.

3. Terran fleet. Ship and fleet combat in general. Let's see some of htat.

4. Keep the ship combat sensible. That a firgate like Normady has the firepower to take out a high-tech dreadnought in 2 shots is redicolous. Upgrades or no, ship classes and sizes exist for a reason.

5. Inventory. A small and simple one. Think Deus Ex or System Shock.

6. If there are planetary mission, make them varried. Let some be on foot, other on Mako. Varry the locale and mission goals and layouts.

Not just see them in one battle (where there is one human crusier model, one turian and one asari ship). I think it would be interesting if that governments of the galaxy starting realizing the threat and mobilized their forces to help. For once don't make shepard go in commando style killing everyone saving the day, instead make it so he goes in only to get pinned down and to be saved by the alliance marine corps and a diverse alliance fleet. Shepard can't do everything, give him some help so its more believable that hes saving the galaxy just not by himself. It would be cool if you had allies like marines that would help you in battles just not follow you.

AND

I'd like, in the downtime, for the people on my "team" to not just be sitting in the same spot doing nothing. Make them move around. Have them sometimes playing cards, sometimes eating, sometimes working out. Make it feel like less of a static environment.

Let other people develop relationships. It'd be nice if I saw, for instance, Garrus and Tali holding hands.

Let them have relationship issues that we can talk about to solve; things like that.

It's not all about Shepard. These should be living and breathing people too.

So much. Both points are EXCELLENT.

A proper alignment system. Not the proper word, I know.

You have one (1) bar where you put skills, and that alone decides if you can charm or intimidate someone, and choosing one of those, would give points to the Paragon or Renegade bar, which only show your "alignment". The Alignment shouldn't by itself do anything else then, perhaps, change the ending, and perhaps some story-important lines. Sure, some characters you meet would require more points to Intimidate than to Charm, for example an idiot do-gooder would require more points to Charm than to Intimidate, and even if you had enough to Intimidate, it could end up re-in-forcing his/her beliefs

Um, she certainly can be.  Start up a new character and look over your options carefully.

Would love a feature which would allow for level creation. I think adding cinematic and dialogue would be difficult to implement but... Picking a planet, choosing a "map" and then adding geth, batarian, collector (or any hostile unit to fight) would allow me to feed my need to blow some stuff up =)

I would love a bonus ending scene, where the reapers start tearing up the citadel and Shep is standing there, looking cool while the council is hiding from the explosions under a table screaming "OH MY ****! We're gonna die,the Reapers are gonna kill everything, SAVE US SHEPARD!". And then Shep says: "Ah, Reapers... We have dismissed that claim"

id like to see more of the ships again like in me 1 with the ascension

the possibilite of failing in the end

more life on the normandy rather then people just sitting around silently or saying the occasional comment

all LI's and Friendships to carry over properly with no characters being ignored due to popularity etc as this will only dissapoint people

a better level up system that has more choice for specialisation

ability too customisse guns like in ME 1

bigger hub locations with more quests

and planet exploring back in it

edit: oh yeah and to meet shepards mum

Romance between team member.

As of now we have never seen real interaction between other team member. It would be nice to see people falling in love with someone else than Shepard for once. Exemple: Kasumi from ME2 dlc, she clearly say she likes Jacob, but no one can do a thing about it. It would be great in ME3 to see people connect and create relationship with or without Shepard's help.

I think the engineer class could be improved. I've played every class through, and I loved every one of them. The engineer is certainly functionable, but lacks that certain something that makes it awesome. An adept is fun because you get to try different combos. The vanguard, soldier and infiltrator all have kick-ass unique powers geared towards a certain play style. Even the sentinel with it's survivable, jack-of-all trades feel worked really well. But the engineer... one of the problems is there doesn't seem to be any synergy between their powers, especially considering it's a "caster" class. The combat drone is excellent, but I never felt as though it enhanced any other traits, and the same is true for all the engineer's powers. I don't know how to improve it; I only know that it needs a better focus.

i feel like the customization for armor was great, however for your face, i was a bit disappointed. i guess i was hoping to be able to give my Shepard a mohawk :) but anyways, basically, more options would be nice. what we have now is just more of the same from ME1

I want to be able to tie up all the loose ends during the game. I want an entire leg of the game dedicated to curing the genophage, and then another leg where I find the quarians a home.

If all I get is a montage at the end showing wether or not these things happen (fallout 3, marvel ultimate alliance) I just don't think it would pay off as much.

My wishlist numero uno - to have the option when altering facial/hair features at the beginning of the game to be able to start with your imported character so that you can change just one factor...for example hair style/colour or eye colour rather than attempting to rebuild the face from scratch just so you can change one feature. I gave up and just stuck with my ME1 face.

2) To have some real challenges when choosing between Paragon/Renegade options. I know a lot of people choose to play either goodies or baddies but it would be nice to really challenge the game player by for example forcing the player to choose in-game to either keep a secret and safeguard your romantic relationship or be truthful and risk losing your love. I wonder how many paragon players would be tempted to be bad :) And other choices that could force Renegades to play good.

oh and an awesome epilogue please, dont just end on a high...give us just another ten mins of gameplay to wrap up character plot lines/love stories etc. Give us one last paragon/renegade moment at the end of game :) maybe so that we can chat about it and dissect it on these forums .

Thank you kindly :)

Me3 should be longer than the first two. Maybe 80 hrs.

I hope Bioware doesn't take this thread seriously. These posts are retarded. People complained about the original Mass Effect for a million reasons, and Bioware solved every issue people had with the original. Now people want everything reversed. You speak of the game as if you are repulsed by it. If Bioware listened to a fraction of what is written on this thread, ME3 would turn into a horrible game.

Samara as a possible romance option would be awesome. Tali and Legion in the game. Beside that, not much i can think of. I have no doubts that Bioware will make yet another awesome game. :o

Yeah. I haven't post most of my ideas, cause most of them are idiotic and probably wouldn't work well. I would leave it to the professionals.

After my eighth playthrough, I've decided I need a few things:

#1 To participate in the conflict over the quarian homeworld. As a major participant.

#2 To see what's left of the Drell homeworld.

#3 The Hanar homeworld might be a cool compliment to seeing the Drell homeworld.

#4 Retractable helmets.

#5 Moar armor (for everyone), same customization

The thing is that bioware does read these threads as they did for the first game. I thought the first game was almost perfect besides inventory and I never complained about the mako. Now in the second they are all gone. If people want to voice their opinion let them idiotic or not. I think most just want the customization back because removed so much. I enjoy reading this thread and lime seeing others view on the game( besides those who ask for co-op or multiplayer). The first game left such a good impression on me because shep was my shep in apparance and skills. ME2 generalize shep to where everyone shep were to much alike with exception of apperance.
