Being able to respond to emails with a dialogue wheel system. Something like Alpha Protocol; just 2-3 sentences per message option.

ME3 should be more oblivion like. We want to see life in space. not one city on one planet where everybody are standing this same place all the time. And what about life on Normandy? i want to see big dialogues between teammates, not only 2 person talk but also a conversation including 3-4 or 5 persons

please god no. no offense, your opinion is valid and I do not mean to offend but personally I was never I Elder Scrolls fan and I think making it open world / sandbox of that level will just make it like the other games.

i do think more RPG elements need to return, weapon / armor customisation for squad mates, I mean really i loved seeing Garrus in ME1 in some of the awesome looking turian armors but in ME2 he just looks dumb walking around with crappy torn up armour. What cerberus can afford all these super cool armours for Shepard but cant even give garrus one lousy good piece of armour? On that note, also bring back helmets for soldier class squad mates.
In ME1 I used Garrus and Wrex almost all the time, not only cuz thier abilities complimented my Shep but cuz the look like 2 mean mofos in some of the armours (Wrexes Berserker armour, HELL YES)

would love to see more life on the normandy. Perhaps squadmates move around and talk to each other occasionally? you can eat with them in the mess? Help garrus with those endless calibrations?

Perhaps Edi would need a Locate crewmember command to help you find them. You could also request them to meet you at a location.

Just some more life on the Normandy and in hub worlds. Play assassin's creed and see the crowds walking around then play the Citadel, it's like all the NPCs are wax models, they just stand and sit there.

I think the game is great but if I could change one minor thing it would be for shepard to take off his helmet when in a conversation

This isn't really apropos of anything, but I think it would be really fun to be able to go to real named stars from real life, by which I mean something like Sirius or Vega or Betelgeuse. I guess that would be functionally the same as what they have, since scientists don't really know anything about those planetary systems, but i think that's more interesting than going to a star system someone made up at random. It feels more realistic and I think it increases the satisfaction of the exploration factor, kind of like when you got to land on Luna in ME1.Or you could go to some of the exoplanets that have already been discovered in real life. Scientists do know about the environments of several of those.

The storm beatdown in me1 was one of the things i would like to see come back, no other game iv played has that. Iv saved myself plenty of times just running around nocking down enemys just to stay alive!

I miss being a specter and haveing the specter equipment, it seemed to be a big part of the first game. I know you can go to the council and get reinstated but it just dosnt have the same feeling as me1.  You gave us cerbrus armor, a nice specter amor would be nice for those of use who saved the council and got reinstated.

No offense, but other than the "make the missions less linear" and perhaps the "more normandy fights" sugestions,  I have the impression that all other sugestions in your post would bring back the problems than the first ME had that were removed in the second.

I did not really care for the way missions were done in ME2. There was just somthing about getting a mission complete screen and then suddenly finding Shepard and crew back on the Normandy that killed the immresion factor of the ME world that Bioware created.

I would also prefer some more organic level designs. I didn't really notice it so much on my first playthrough but ME2's levels felt like warehouses with strategically placed boxes to cover behind. I would like to see more outdoor levels, a little less Gears of War and more Uncharted 2 for ME3's level design. I want to run throgh forrests, pass waterfalls, run of hills and mountains as well as fight on space stations.

More variety of enemies. ME2 had the Collectors and alot of Merc's neither of which really impressed me. This is a game about space exploration, I want to come across animals that look like they came from James camerons 'Avatar', I wan't fight things like the Rancor from 'Return of the Jedi' or the Yeti thing from 'Empire Strikes Back'.

No planet scanning.

More emphasis on the main mission. Not that I did not enjoy ME2's loyalty missions but the main plot felt kind of thin.

Better dialogue intercations with the crew especially LI's. I was dissapointed with how ME2 handled this.

Better bug testing, don't introduce any new characters, but rather have us discover the current characters' backgrounds more. Also the option for Shepard to be a polygamist.

If I could to ask for just one thing in ME3 that would be: KEEP TALY in the game!!

And please involve her heavily in the plot. I love taking her to my explorations and fights (with her technological powers), then I also choose a third partner: brute force (krogan), combat skills (Turian or Human or Drell), or biotic powers (Asari).

that would leave allot out for all of us who let tali die in all of our playthroughs, like me, its so freaking hillarious to kill her:lol:

I'd like to see

The Rachni.
I've posted a thread with my little idea for the Rachni returning in Mass Effect 2 DLC, but 3 would be sweet too
Non council race squad members
Other then the Krogan and Drell obviously. I wanna see a Batarian, maybe even a Volus, in the squad. I might be posting a thread with an idea for a Volus joining the squad in ME2 DLC, but again, 3 would be sweet too.
Uses for powers other then combat
Use your powers to solve puzzles, push down trees to make bridges, throw something to press a button

+1 to this. It's really annoying and disrespectful talking to others with a helmet on. Let it just be like DAO wherein the helmet is removed every conversation. Just my two cents.

I agree with this i think it should be more personal with more than one person talking, also i think my crew should be able to walk around the normandy, and just like when you get in the elevator and it tells you where your team mates are it always changes as to where they are.

The other thing is that when you are traveling around the solar systems controling the normandy you can interact with other ships and talk to there captains and board or have a dog fight with them if they attack you or just becuse you can. Any upgrades you have purchesed for the normandy feels like it was worth while spending you preseciously colected resources as they will give you an edge in any dog fights you may have.

When you gain a team mates loyalty they should help you out in a big way when you need them to or if someone bad mouths shepard in a conversation they could quickly jump in and defend you, depending on the team mates it could range from a few harsh words to a round in the leg.

The abillity to go to multiple cities filled with all sorts of differnt aliens going about theire bisness and having the option to earn some extra credits for yourself by bounty hunting criminals for a paragon shep for an example.

I have a few weapon ideas I would like to share:

-M99 Widower Anti-Materiel rifle (Same power as the Widow but it is semi-automatic, has a clip with 6 rounds, more ammo efficient, faster to reload, has less recoil but however, if you fire too fast, accuracy drops. Resembles a NTW-20 and a M82A1.)

-Geth energy sniper rifle (A energy rifle, used by Geth marksmen. Has a clip size of 10 and fires fast.)

-M89 Demon (Like the Revenant but it is even less accurate and slightly weaker but it makes up for it because it is alot more ammo efficient, has a higher fire rate and faster to reload.)

-M40 Hunter (A bolt action rifle with 3 shots. Less power than the mantis but it reloads faster, more ammo efficient and has less recoil.)

As said before, give more life to everything. Make people walk and do things, even ask you or interrupt you (you are Shepard, you are famous).

In the Normandy let us talk with the crew (not just our teammates and two or three, the whole crew).

Here are a few things i'd love to see in ME3;

INVENTORY!

Explorable planets like in ME1, I loved being able to drive around on a planet and find things. It made the universe really seem massive. It was great being able to be on the moon (Luna 1 iirc) and look up at the earth it was just so awe inspiring.

No more mission complete screens. Drags you out of the flow of the game and re-enforces that you were just playing a 'level' not going there and doing things. (Maybe have this as an option)

Bigger Citadel, the ME2 citadel felt like a 6 story house.

Supporting cast in ME1 were much more memorable because there were fewer of them, and you grew attached to them. The cast in ME2, while great, felt too structured (Aquire Teammate, Do Loyalty, then either Use them or they pretty much gather dust). Instead of having 10 or so team mates, make ME3 have like 8 or so but you choose to recruit say a team of 4?

No mining / flying minigame, make the navcomp like ME1, the navcomp in ME2 is way to 'Video Game-y'. And NO MINING Minigame, please make minerals obtainable from a mining station or by the ME1 way (Which I, and friends all loved).

ME2 was a good game, but all the 'streamlining' and focusing on the Shooter parts really stepped it way to close to a Halo or Unreal Tournament game. Give the console gamers all that crap, like Upgrades and Mission Complete screens and Mining Minigames, and give the PC Gamers an inventory, explorable planets, etc.

Thanks.

I would like ME3 to have more customizable character in the meaning of having any choices in his skill development to feel that it is something more that just a third person shooter, wider choice of skills and upgrades (inventory is a must).

Also it would be nice if impossible difficulty would consist of something than every opponent having armor and shield /apart from health/ so no powers are useful vs them - maybe they could do more damage ? or there could be more of them ? or anything but this ? playing pure power character on impossible is just boring coz u cant do damage to anyone and u have to wait in cover until some of ur poorly shooting mates brings down defense of someone.

Bigger citadel sounds nice, with a few non main plot quests, just to have a look on the life and its development on it.

Maybe planet exploration can be exchanged to something like this:

if player need resources he needs to get its flow from a colonies and to have that he should help them somehow in their problem with something (quest). so it wont be so boring and it will also level up character and therefore it will be more satisfying to get more resources :)

I would left the combat itself as it is maybe just work some more on AI of team ........ and enemies.

that would be nice :)
