I wish for Liara as sqaud member,
mass effect 2 fighting sistem,
MUCH more guns (not as much as in me1 though),
the final battle takes place on earth which is under attack,
a european version with mass effect 1- style sex scenes,
more vampire action with morinth,
some cake,
Normandy has a Shepard VI,
Jacob dies,
killing the illusive man before cancer does,
possibilty to slap ash and some more reporters,
more scenes like 'how 'bout goodbye',
mordin survives (they'll probably let him die because he can cure the genophage without the data you saved/destroyed, so there would be no consequences if keep it or not. so he'll have to die. i wish they'll find an other way than killing him, he's one of my favorite caracters),
better voice actors for shep

-I'd like to have the whole squad back. If not, at least give us Garrus, Tali, Grunt, and Legion.
-Upgrades for the ground attack vehicle
-Space combat
-Give the engineer class a better special power than drones. I don't think it's as good as andrenaline rush, tech armor, biotic charge, tatical cloak, or singularity are.
-How about letting us sell excess minerals collected to get more credits to buy stuff with
-Oh I forgot, can we please get Lance Henriksen back on as Admiral Hackett?
Otherwise, keep up the great work

There have been some nice suggestions (and some horrible ones) on this forum.  I hope Bioware takes a look to see what we are all saying.

My two cents:

#1  Allow all ME3 discs to be downloaded onto the Xbox so that the player only needs to use disc one.

I've downloaded both discs to my 360, but I still have to switch back and forth now and again.  It takes the flow from the game to have to change discs.  (And if ME3 will require more discs--which I hope it will be large enough to require--then I would really encourage using disc one to play any part of the downloaded game).

#2  Ignore those who are saying kill the entire squad or replace it.

I like the squad and I think that the player should be rewarded for all the loyal members he/she has kept alive.  I think now is the time to really flush out those backstories on the characters and deepen them.  (Not make shallow backstories for the ones who might have died and add new members with slightly flushed-out stories.)  For me, the story and my characters are what keep me engrossed in this series

#3  The weather changing technologies hinted in ME2 and the DLC are very interesting.  Please don't forget to explore that out in ME3!!!

I'm hoping that the DLC this time is really a bridge, because DLC for ME1 did not do much except introduce the terrorizing Batarians (which were not a big part of ME2 at all).  I would understand Collector DLC or Prothean DLC, but Batarians was not really a bridge... So, basically, I'm hoping this weather phenomena will actually mean something in ME3.
#4  The dialogue-based side missions are great (like Samara's).  ;)  Add more of those with more dialogue options.

This really allows Shepard to show off his/her intellectual prowess (or bada**-ness).  The rewards for using charm/intimidate to unlock surprising new options are very good as well (i.e.-that choice in the Omega apartment).  However, tedious things like the stalking part of  a certain Citadel loyalty mission was not great.  (The start of that mission was fantastic, however.  Especially the renegade options.)
#5  Please bring back our ME1 love interests.

Honestly, I really want my Shepard to be rewarded for her faithfulness (and my other Shepards to be chewed out or seriously guilt-ridden for their less loyal decisions).  I really, really hope there is the option to soften a certain love interest who has seriously changed.  I know that she could never permanently return to her former self, but I think Shepard's charm should be worth something...

#6  Gay love interest options would be nice.

Bioware had said in an interview that the reason they don't do gay Shepards is because she/he are already a predefined person and the player just influences the character.  However, with all the other options in this game for how to manipulate the character, this seems like a poor explanation, especially since femShep can be with Kelly (why can't maleShep be with someone too?).  I can choose my Shepard to be a Spacer War Hero (someone who is supposed to be heroic, self-sacrificing, and well-raised) and make him/her the most ruthless unforgiving jerk out there.   Making Shep gay/straight/lesbian/bi should be up to the player as well.  Obviously, not all the characters will be available for seduction.  I don't expect Ash, Kaiden, Miranda, etc to be gay/bi/lez etc because they are predefined characters.  But some new characters could.

#7  Samara love interest in ME3???

She's elegant, powerful, and idealistic.... perfect <3 for a paragon.  Enough said.

#8  More side missions please.  ^_^

If I'm going to spend so much time mining planets, I want more out there to find.

#9  Give Joker, EDI, and Mordin more lines.

I love their comic relief, insights, and personalities.

#10  A little better sex scenes might be nice. Or, add more conversations with these characters (before and after "romancing" with a love interest)

I know about the Fox News controversy, but I've seen worse in PG movies and prime time TV.  Why are people crying that a child might see the love sequences in this game?  I'd be more concerned about the violence than the sex (or rather, ten second make-out scenes).  If the game is rated MA anyway, then only 17+ aged people should be able to buy it.  Shouldn't that mean that we should get some R-rated content?  At the very least, we should be able to have some meaningful conversations after getting a romance achievement.

Thanks for listening Bioware!

I hope that the mystery surrounding the Salarian "League of One" will have light shed upon it. Rumor has it that there was a 13th member.....I hope that Bioware addresses the issue in ME3. I wouldn't be suprised at all if the 13th member was the Salarian council member. The League of One was obviously sacrificed so that the Salarians could have a council member....well, that's just my take on the matter. If you'll recall, humanity was not allowed to have a council member until countless humans lost their lives to save the citadel AND the council itself.........sounds a lot like a blood sacrifice to me.

Dont forget there was also that side mission in ME1 where you discover the geth have some form of weather controlling device.

I want Tali to be romanceable for a female Sheppard.

That's my only complaint. Even though I knew it was pointless in ME 2 I still tried like crazy to flirt with her...

you're absolutely right! I don't want to make choices based on my paragon/renegade points, just so i'm able to keep everybody loyal. I'd like play my Shepard MY way, doing the right things but not like mother theresia, rather in Garrus style.

Also getting paragon points for brainwashing the geth, saving rachni, keeping genophage cure is ridiculous. In those situations it doesn't matter if a choice is right to you in me 1&2. For example, in my opinion, destroying the genophage cure is the right thing to do because the krogans are not ready for it yet.

BIOWARE, LET US PLAY MASS EFFECT OUR WAY AND STOP GIVING PARAGON POINTS FOR NAIVETY!

Saving Kaiden would be fantastic (IF you start ME2 withOUT importing a ME1 character and start as a female then Kaiden is alive  well), I treat him as a "little brother", he gets ALL the best armor, pistol, etc.
Having to play as a female in ME1 just to get Kaiden in to bed is ... well it WORKED and a MUCH better interacton than with Liara (monogendered = lesbian?). I suspect that getting Ash into bed in ME1 is impossible after the "kissing a superior officier" dialog in the cargo bay.
SO why can't Shepard (and Kaiden) be Bi, would fall under "don't ask, don't tell?

Also some explaination as to why ME2 takes TWO disk (14GB), takes HALF as long to MAX out (30 vs 60 levels), 1/3 as long to play (IF you do NOT buy any charm/renagade points) to reach level 12 dialog in ME1.

Many of us want Citadel to be a hughe pulsing urban area with the feel of the center of the Milkyway by far.
My inspiration to it is this ABBA song, it describes what I imagine perfectly.

Link:

Lyrics:

Coming through a cloud, you're looking at me from above
And I'm a revelation, spreading out before your eyes
And you find me beautiful and irresistible
A giant creature that forever seems to grow in size,
And you feel a strange attraction,
Ooh, ooh the air is vibrant and electrified,
Welcome to me, here I am my arms are open wide

Somewhere in the middle of the never ending noise,
There is a pulse, a steady rhythm of a heart that beats
And a million voices blend into a single voice,
And you can hear it in the clamour of the crowded streets,
People come and take their chances,
Ooh, ooh, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose a lot
Come make your own contribution to this melting pot

I'm the street you walk, the language you talk
I am the city, the skyline is me and the energy
I am the city, the famous hotels
And the cocktail bars, and the funny smells
And the turmoil of cars, and the people
The air that you're breathing is me,
Yes I am the city, you let me be

People feed me with their lives, I am a hungry soul
And they all worship me, and pay their homage day and night
Everyday I hear a lot of tired, shuffling feet
But come tonight they will be dancing in the neon light,
Dazzled by the crazy magic,
Ooh, ooh, they're grabbing pieces of the fatted calf
And in the wind if you listen hard, you'll hear me laugh

I'm the street you walk, the language you talk
I am the city, the skyline is me and the energy
I am the city, the famous hotels
And the cocktail bars, and the funny smells
And the turmoil of cars, and the people
The parks and the squares that you see,
All the sounds that you hear,
And the air that you're breathing is me,
Yes I am the city, you let me be
I am the city, you let me be, I am the city

The famous hotels and the cocktail bars,
And the funny smells and the turmoil of cars,
And the people, the air that you're breathing is me
Coming through a cloud, you're looking at me from above
And I'm a revelation, spreading out before your eyes

I'm the street you walk, the language you talk
I am the city yes, I am the city, you let me be
And you find me beautiful and irresistible,
A giant creature that forever seems to grow in size,
The skyline is me and the energy,
I am the city you let me be

Somewhere in the middle of the never ending noise,
There is a pulse, a steady rhythm of a heart that beats
I'm the street you walk, the language you talk
I am the city, yes I am the city, you let me be
And a million voices blend into a single voice,
And you can hear it in the clamour of the crowded streets,
The skyline is me, and the energy
I am the city you let me be.

The song itself is like the Citadell is speaking on its own and is a perfect theme song for that place imo.
Personally I cant grow tierd of the thought of Citadel beeing the very main hub and the heart for many many plots, scenarios and experiences that makes me go "Ohhh and Aaaa". A true place for the center of the "universe"

Thats what i would really want in the third installment above anything else....well its on top 2 or three anyway, like a dream. Please make it happen BW.
A truly inspirational thought indeed.

 1. Don't rush the game

2. Make it where there are more than 2 endings. (like shepard living or dying only)

3. More dialogue. Mass Effect 1 only had about 2-3 times where Shepard talked without choosing what to say. In ME2 this was almost every mission where you clicked a dialogue option and shepard goes on with the entire conversation. Ruins the immersion.

4. Add some new Biotic powers.

5. More armor customization. I like the individual pieces idea, but all of the armors look kind of the same. We only have 3 different torso pieces in ME2, would like more.

6. More than two squad outfits, or add squad armor like in ME1 during the exploration, and missions - but the squad outfits only during the normandy portion.

7. Lots more side quests. Mass Effect 1's side quests were amazing, and made it feel like the end of the game wasn't anywhere close. Mass 2's side quests are pretty dull. The N7 missions aren't that developed. They feel rushed. No squad interaction at all from what i've seen. Nobody talks, its just go here and shoot and thats it. I would like some squad interaction during the missions. As for side quests, make it more in depth like ME1's. Not a quick grab and run, or talk to somebody a few feet away kind of missions. After I finished the ME2 suicide mission and went to do the side quests, I finished them all in less than two hours.

8. More dialogue. Lots more. This is the last game, so please add enough to keep us satisfied. ME2's dialogue wasn't as good as it could have been. Especially the post suicide mission. It would have been cool to talk to the squaddies after the suicide mission to see what they thought about it, how they feel about the outcome, etc.. instead of a one sentence summary of destroying or keeping the base.

Give us something to do after game, some more dialogue choices to dive into. (Could even do a ME2 DLC for it that expands dialogue post game) Talking to your LI after the suicide mission would be a plus also, at least if you guys don't want to expand all character dialogue post game.

9. More tracks for the captains cabin! The Callista track is cool, but add the VIP afterlife song also, and some from ME1. Even the Vigil song too, thats a classic.

And that seems to be it. Hope you guys see this and consider some of it. ;)

Hey , I am new, and today is my first post :)

What I wish in ME3 is to be the most epic game ever ? And how do it ? Easy , do more stuff , when I say more stuff is like expand all the things, for example, when the game was out I did reach the end , with most of the side-quests in 23-25 hours, well I want to reach 40 or more hours (yes I am crazy).

Like ME3 will be the final game of this trilogy, is easy to put It's easy to get a rhythm heavy, full of emotion. I liked to feel I'm about to die in the game.

And plz, put some MP content, like do the all game with 2 other friends. (or maybe do a Mass Effect MMO , that would be awesome, and ME is the perfect game to be a MMO.)

Like I say to my nerd friends , ME will be the next Star Wars

Hey, new poster here! I have seen many great suggestions given for me3, and they've inspired me to come up with a list of my own!

Firstly, I was pleasantly surprised with me2... It was far beyond my expectations.

Great story for a "part 2 of 3" game.

Obvious enhancements to the graphics and gameplay.

Unique characters that blended into the atmosphere wonderfully.

The new Normandy was unreal.

Loyalty mission were exciting and immersive.

And the Suicide Mission was a brilliant climax to a brilliant game.

I think that if Bioware can fix a few details, me3 will be a real treat.

1. Melee combat

I would like to see a larger variety of melee attacks rather than just the infamous gun bash. Maybe Shepard could carry a small knife with upgrades or maybe even give him a couple of take down moves.

2. Adjust leveling and stats

There were things you could take away from both ME1 & ME2

In ME1 I liked the variety of complex stat categories such as Spectre Training and specific guns.

In ME2 I loved how each skill would greatly change once you received the 4th stat point.

What I'm looking for ME3 is a noticeable progression in skill displayed by Shepard. I should feel like the Shepard at the end of the game could kick the beginning Shepards ass in 5 seconds! I want to feel strong... like the savior of the galaxy.

3. Carry-over romance

I was slightly disappointed that ME1 Li's (Liara & Ash) were barely displayed in ME2. I can understand the whole Shepards dead for 2 years thing, but I would like to see a continuation of romance from 2 to 3. Ex. If I was with Tali at the end of 2 there should be no reason I am still not with her at the beginning of 3.

4. Missions requiring more teammates

There should be more missions that have a similar format to "The Suicide Mission". Your squad will need more than 2 teammates to get the job done. This could be very wide open! You could choose tech experts, distractors, alternate squad leaders, snipers for cover, infiltrators, and much much more!

5. Re-expand the Citadel

I loved the Citadel from ME1... It was very large and fun to explore, not to mention it was full of great dialogue. It felt like it was the center of the Galaxy!

6. Mining (IMPORTANT)

I would like to see a resource format different from ME2. Maybe you could invest credits into mining industries and receive some of their yield. Missions could be done to help certain industries or sabotage rival industries. You could also use your credits to build new mining facilities and upgrade ones that you already own... but something needs to be done to improve this!! This is big for me because I thought the the research center was innovative and clever!

7. Normandy

Though the Normandy in ME2 blew me away, I would like to see more customization options, such as music, lighting, textures, crew uniforms, etc. I just want to make it feel like it's my own Shepard's ship.

8. Choices

This is a quicky... I want to see more game changing consequences that result from choices taken in the first 2 games... that is all.

9. DIALOGUE !!!!!!!

This is what I love so much about the ME series! I want ME3 to be the most emotional and personal game that I have ever played. I want loads of dialogue for every character that makes you sad, happy, angry, nervous, excited, hysterical, and Intense!!!

I hope you all comment, because I would like to receive some feedback.

Thank You for reading!

MORE TIME WITH YOUR ROMANCE!!! i want to talk more with my romance. sure i luv a good sex scene but lets be honest, tali's sex scene sucked!

when you survive the last mission you can talk to tali. but all she says is... "i got a minor fever and some sniffles **cough**cough**... ok she didn't say that but you get the point.

i don't mine her humping me in the bed when you call her to your room neither but, i want to talk to her, listen to her past and more sex! haha XD

all i'm saying is, i want some some romance conflict with her! and i realy, Really, REALLY want to see her face, and ass... XD

thats what i want from ME3! more time with your romance... oh and a catfight with tali and liara or tali vs. ashly, who agrees!?!

My only real wish for ME3 is for one scene I think would be funny to happen. Shepard stands before the counsil goes into a little speech about how he or she has done so much in the universe (dealing with geth, krogans, etc) and the council asks why they should trust him. All of Shepards responses should simply be variations of him or her pointing to him or herself and saying "SHEPARD!". One would be sarcasm, one would be plainly said, one would be a hero pose, and the renegade choice would be angrily pointing at him/herself and in a stern voice saying "SHEP-ARD"

I agree with Tempus Frangit entirely.

All of those plus Kolyat recruitable depending upon your choices in ME2. Thane needs to die (Not because I don't like him.. But because it wouldn't make any sense for him to be alive as this game will likely be 3-5 years in the future). Have Mordin be still around the game.. as in.. You can go talk to him and possibly do a mission for him, but he's not on the crew.

New Idea: Give Shepard a home base of sorts.

Primary Reason: It doesn't make any sense for ship upgrades to be purchasable while you're on the ship.

Secondary Reason: Would be cool.

It would give us something to personalize. A little fun thing to do on the side or perhaps something to do after the game.

(Insert part about how much I love Tali and would cry if she wasn't in ME3)

I am almost done with ME2 (finshed all the side missions and towards the end). While a good game it is far inferior to ME1.

-Scanning planets boring

-Upgrade system is stupid as soon as an upgrade pops up as researchable i just buy it regardless, while in ME1 you would look at the stats of equipment, also the best part of it was gaining loot. Also not being able to customize how your teamates look like is lame.

-No Mako or wide planet exploration, In ME1 I remember i went to a level 3 hazard ice planet it was beautiful and looking up at the sky I could see the stars and I was wondering how far this planet would be from earth irl. I was totally immersed. Also the Mako was not that bad. Bioware just needs to put something on these planets, it doesn't have to be a quest but it could be random events such as two groups fighting each other (random events), or wildlife or just some enemies. To my dismay ME2 is full of corridor levels and my god its so boring, I feel like im playing a shooter game and not an rpg, you cant even revisit most of the places.

-Not enough cities and their not large enough, while both ME1 and 2 suffer from this, ME1 citadel was actually well done, unlike ME2 settlements which feel like a few corridors and tiny rooms.

All in all I would say ME2 is inferior in every way except character dialogue and the characters in general, which ME2 nailed. I would also like ME3 to get rid of the loading screens and the mission complete screen and elevator ride is way better than that.
