Also, like, a modular Normandy, whether it's full blown buying entirely new rooms or just customizing ur own cabin. So it's actually ur space. And keep some of this squad again. Give them conversations for when u talk to them after the game (assuming Shepard will be able to survive ME3 too...)
Biggest issues in ME2 for me were squad AI, and all the RPG elements being stripped right back. If Bioware can build the RPG elements back in around this new combat system, it would be awesome

And some changes need to be made to charm/intimidate. The formula in ME2 can make certain actions near impossible if done too late in the game. Either change this to keep the difficulty the same, or easier. Or make a "neutral option" available to players who keep their bars close enough together.

Only solution I can come up with is to manage equipment like it was in KOTOR2 (and probably is in many other RPGs). So having a number of weapon combinations available to you (depending upon classes), and having the modular armor slots that we got in ME2, and maybe a slot for a cybernetics implant (so, to improve weapon accuracy, damage, biotic damage, cooldown etc). With maybe ten different armor variations for each area (chest, arms, head etc) you can come up with a lot of variation, and stats to complement your gameplay style. Guns could have one or two slots for upgrades like scopes, magazine size, damage boosters, accuracy boosters, ammo types, and maybe even biotic amps and omni-tools could have a similar system to increase damage and decrease cooldown. You might even have mods to improve stats for your whole squad, and everything can be bought or traded with merchants at hub worlds. There's then the possibility to equip squadmates using the exact same system (though they could be automatically equipped if the player doesn't want to mess around with this feature.
It's basically about finding a way to give the player more options without having to trawl through lists of hundreds of items and upgrades.
Something that was mentioned in another thread was that biotics should be able to rip people apart with their minds in cut scenes, as opposed to pointing a gun at them, though I'm not sure how easy it will be to implement this.
Also, the hammerhead has little to no health, and the boss battle should be better implemented IMO. Otherwise, ME2 was excellent, and the best game I've ever played - don't fix what's not broken lmao.
End rant.

My ongoing thread about this is here. It contains more specific info on what I am talking about.
Needless to say, if the camera is just as bad, or worse, for me than ME2's is, I will not be buying ME3. As it is, I am not sure I will be able to play ME2 with the problems I am having.
Just my two cents! Thank you Bioware for (hopefully) listening to all these suggestions.

You can toggle internet connection or live and players that toggled theirs in any CITY are shown (With helmet if they use default Male/Fem Shep, without helm if its custom Male/Fem shep), and you can bring them along for missions (1 - 2 players. If it's only 1 player, you can add an NPC squadmate that the party LEADER can controll) and you can continue playing like this. Also you should add instances (Like many MMORPG, WoW, Aion Online, etc) so players can go beyond the default levels. Also, you could (I KNOW this is possible, as it is a feature on Midnight Club 3) customize N7 armor and add your own style and patterns, this way players feel more diverse. You could also allow mods to show online (Dunno if that can be done, but possibly as we are further into the 21st century)... and you could add more hairstyles?
... That actually sounds like an awesome idea. Mass Effect 3 in the format on an MMO... that would be very fun. +rep

To add to this. This game needs for free roam - as in "You-can-fly-as-joker" in space free roam, and make cities... bigger... for instance, the Citidel, you could have added all five of the starcity but instead you added one town... out of like 100... in a section of 1... out of 5...

So my suggestion is this: how cool would it be to send in your portrait "code" and receive a special edition of ME3 featuring YOUR Commander Shepard on the box art? I would certainly pay extra for that.

more weapons - tragic scene for thane's death
more classes - full on war against the repears
more biotic attacks or moves - emotional heart breaking ending
more armor peices for N7 .... and more of Miri taking her clothes off.

Why do you want to see her in a squad?
What do you think the big boss from Omega must obey Shepard?
Even if Wrex spoke about her.
I think. she can't to join the squad in ME3 is simply not logical (big boss from Omega)!
Or do you think she will lose control and power over Omega, and good Shepard invite her in squad, it kind of unnecessary.
Must stop the Reapers, gather allies, search technology, is being prepared in the greatest battle.
Perfectly Asari: Morinth and Samara.
Morinth - must necessarily as a negative show himself in ME3, that even her assistance in ME2 not seem a compelling argument in its favor.
Samara - a great self-sacrificing character. I always take she to the detachment.
If we talk about new characters, they not needed in the squad, they will simply not be interesting.
For me totally not interesting DLC personages Zaeed and Kasumi.
If we talk about a possible new Asari in the squad, I agree to Shiala.

What more? What do you want to see? I of course also seemed insufficient, but the scene seemed to me a little clumsy, not ample motion control.
If more of Miri taking her clothes off then need greater detail the process, do not think that's really necessary.
Other comments?

For me really do not need a lot of essentially the same weapon.
In ME1, I spent more time on selling stuff than on action.
With the best ship and crew why should I buy and sell trash in retail stores? Spectrum should fund the Citadel Council, the best equipment.
Some of the ideas I support:
For example a mixed system Overheating + cell energy.
Remove "Results of the mission" It's like old times at 8-bit consoles, I completed the level and here are my results. Why? I understand how I played.
More abilities, if they will be 10, not 5 as in ME2 you'll use them all, I do not think so.
Only if it would be really unique abilities or passive (improves characteristics).
I also agree on a mixed system of inventory of ME1 and ME2,
I like to change ammunition as is done in ME2.
But some classes generally can not use ammunition, but anyone can develop a partner capacity ammo. This system is justified.
But I think it would be nice and logical, if before the beginning of the mission, as is done with arms can choose and ammunition (2 different), I think it would be correct.
But the most important and essential for me in Mass Effect, it is a story, plot and music.
Without the epic, unexpected and a dramatic denouement the rest does not matter.
If the story Mass Effect will completed trite and predictable, I will assume that my time spent in vain.
Earlier I wrote and it's probably all of my wishes.

Mass Effect has such an awesome art direction it would be awesome to have a bit more exploration on some planets.
- More armor and weapon choices. - very important IMO
- Make Shepard take of his helmet before drinking something.
- More of the same awesome music/cutscenes
- Fix Shepards smile.... or maybe not
- Less mini-games - although I don't hate them, they are so many that they kill the pace of the missions sometimes.
- MAKE IT AWESOME BIOWARE

I don't want to sound like a jerkoff, but what if Omega finally got shut down. Totally lost power from no one taking care of it? I'm sure Aria would consider joining, that or run into huge asteroids. It would also make a fun mission to get her out. And the mercs feel like she's betraying them, leaving them on the city, so they attack, so you must fight through a mercenary group and leave Omega... oh... right... cave in the front door and blast a hole through afterlife's wall so you go through a whole new part of Omega.
Honestly I don't think BioWare is paying ANY attention to this thread no matter how big it is. Only a hand full of people update it cause they're paid to... but I guess it's nice to share thoughts

Please for the love of all that is holy, put the dialog wheel in a neutral position with no default dialog selected.
I can't count the number of times I am skipping dialog I have seen umpteen times only to inadvertantly choose a dialog
option I didn't want.

As well as a good selection of guns. it brings variety and some depth to the game. I was sad when the numbers of guns was so limited in ME2.

Not to sound corny or overly sentimental, but how about a marriage ceremony for Shepard and his love interest of choice?! That would be pretty sweet. Make it the ending or something... if you survive.
