I want ME3 to have the squadmate from virmire return. The developers have mentioned that there will be benefits to staying loyal to that love interest.I hope that the Virmire survivor, Garrus, and Tali return from the original cast (since Wrex can't come back, Liara is going insane, and the last one is dead). I would like to see Legion, Kasumi (now an actual character rather than DLC), and Mordin (most epic character Posted Image ). I would also enjoy a couple of new characters, and would *love* to have Aria as a part of the party for the next game. Why? Because my guess is that she is the Aria from Wrex's story. Posted ImageI hope that there are a few new characters to use. I also would like there to be new classes, and a return to the ME1 level-up system. I liked the passive powerups, and the inventory more in ME1. (However, I'd like to keep the modular armor) Maybe Bioware could remove the Ammo Powers and make it an equippable item that you acquire/research? (and please, MORE WEAPONS VARIETY. Solid Rounds, Sonic weapons, lasers, A MEELE WEAPON FOR WHEN I HIT SOMETHING, and more of each type of weapon. It's just a nerd's dream, but hey, one can dare to hope.

Generally resolve/answer everything, not like Lost where half of the answers were there lmao.

Also, like, a modular Normandy, whether it's full blown buying entirely new rooms or just customizing ur own cabin. So it's actually ur space. And keep some of this squad again. Give them conversations for when u talk to them after the game (assuming Shepard will be able to survive ME3 too...) :)

Biggest issues in ME2 for me were squad AI, and all the RPG elements being stripped right back. If Bioware can build the RPG elements back in around this new combat system, it would be awesome :D. So thats more guns (with attachments maybe?) and bringing being able to sell loot back in. Also, texture pop-in was still there in ME2...

Keep the same mechanics, but add more stuff. 30 N7 missions would be a dream, and incorporating more open world style and dialogue to the bigger ones like in Overlord would be awesome, while making some of the shorter ones those quick pace, tight missions is awesome too. More inventory as well. Bring back more skills and a deeper levelin system, but not too much. I loved the change from loot drops in the first game, which were very much broken to the more sensible upgrade system. But expand on both the upgrades and the amount of weapons. Also, give us more armor. 40+ armor parts at least, and you should be able to toggle your helmet on and off during missions. Also, let us have at least two armor choices for squad memebers, and toggle there helmets too. I hate going into a warzone head to toe in giant armor, being flanked by two people in skin tight jumpsuits that couldn't care less about protection from the neck up. Bigger hub worlds, and more to do on them. Shops with more than a few items, and more people to talk to. Bring back the old Citadel, at least in size. And give a bigger role to the Council, at least in conversation. And more to do on the Normandy. More things to talk about with crew and teammates. More interaction, movement. And bring back debriefings. Also, in missions, fighting with more allies than just your team. Or missions where your whole crew goes to the ground.

And some changes need to be made to charm/intimidate. The formula in ME2 can make certain actions near impossible if done too late in the game. Either change this to keep the difficulty the same, or easier. Or make a "neutral option" available to players who keep their bars close enough together.

I've been thinking, and it's tricky meeting somewhere in between hundreds of weapons variants, upgrades and armor there was in ME1, and the hugely limited choice we were given in ME2.

Only solution I can come up with is to manage equipment like it was in KOTOR2 (and probably is in many other RPGs). So having a number of weapon combinations available to you (depending upon classes), and having the modular armor slots that we got in ME2, and maybe a slot for a cybernetics implant (so, to improve weapon accuracy, damage, biotic damage, cooldown etc). With maybe ten different armor variations for each area (chest, arms, head etc) you can come up with a lot of variation, and stats to complement your gameplay style. Guns could have one or two slots for upgrades like scopes, magazine size, damage boosters, accuracy boosters, ammo types, and maybe even biotic amps and omni-tools could have a similar system to increase damage and decrease cooldown. You might even have mods to improve stats for your whole squad, and everything can be bought or traded with merchants at hub worlds. There's then the possibility to equip squadmates using the exact same system (though they could be automatically equipped if the player doesn't want to mess around with this feature.

It's basically about finding a way to give the player more options without having to trawl through lists of hundreds of items and upgrades.

Something that was mentioned in another thread was that biotics should be able to rip people apart with their minds in cut scenes, as opposed to pointing a gun at them, though I'm not sure how easy it will be to implement this.

Also, the hammerhead has little to no health, and the boss battle should be better implemented IMO. Otherwise, ME2 was excellent, and the best game I've ever played - don't fix what's not broken lmao.

End rant.

One wish that I absolutely think should be granted is a return to the old ME1 style camera, or the option to use it. ME2's camera is too close to Shepard, both weapons drawn and not. I actually would not care about this if the camera configuration for ME2 didn't make me sick with a migraine headache and nausea, but it does.

My ongoing thread about this is here. It contains more specific info on what I am talking about.

Needless to say, if the camera is just as bad, or worse, for me than ME2's is, I will not be buying ME3. As it is, I am not sure I will be able to play ME2 with the problems I am having.

Just my two cents! Thank you Bioware for (hopefully) listening to all these suggestions.;)

Hi. So I know barely anyone is going to look this far down. But my SUGGESTION for Mass Effect 3 is to make it an optional MMORPG. Via Xbox Live (Or w/e PS3 users use, I dunno as I have never used PS3) or Internet. You can toggle internet connection or live and players that toggled theirs in any CITY are shown (With helmet if they use default Male/Fem Shep, without helm if its custom Male/Fem shep), and you can bring them along for missions (1 - 2 players. If it's only 1 player, you can add an NPC squadmate that the party LEADER can controll) and you can continue playing like this. Also you should add instances (Like many MMORPG, WoW, Aion Online, etc) so players can go beyond the default levels. Also, you could (I KNOW this is possible, as it is a feature on Midnight Club 3) customize N7 armor and add your own style and patterns, this way players feel more diverse. You could also allow mods to show online (Dunno if that can be done, but possibly as we are further into the 21st century)... and you could add more hairstyles? :)

To add to this. This game needs for free roam - as in "You-can-fly-as-joker" in space free roam, and make cities... bigger... for instance, the Citidel, you could have added all five of the starcity but instead you added one town... out of like 100... in a section of 1... out of 5...Posted Image

I have kind of a strange idea. So, I am quite proud of the portrait I made for my ME2 character, and after beating the game, I identify that face with Commander Shepard. It actually irks me a bit whenever I see wallpapers and promotional materials with the default Shepard face (no offense, but he just looks like an idiot to me).

So my suggestion is this: how cool would it be to send in your portrait "code" and receive a special edition of ME3 featuring YOUR Commander Shepard on the box art? I would certainly pay extra for that.

more squad memebers (new and old) - closure to LI's

more weapons - tragic scene for thane's death

more classes - full on war against the repears

more biotic attacks or moves - emotional heart breaking ending

more armor peices for N7 .... and more of Miri taking her clothes off.

Why do you want to see her in a squad?
What do you think the big boss from Omega must obey Shepard?

Even if Wrex spoke about her.
I think. she can't to join the squad in ME3 is simply not logical (big boss from Omega)!

Or do you think she will lose control and power over Omega, and good Shepard invite her in squad, it kind of unnecessary.

Must stop the Reapers, gather allies, search technology, is being prepared in the greatest battle.

Perfectly Asari: Morinth and Samara.
Morinth - must necessarily as a negative show himself in ME3, that even her assistance in ME2 not seem a compelling argument in its favor.
Samara - a great self-sacrificing character. I always take she to the detachment.

If we talk about new characters, they not needed in the squad, they will simply not be interesting.
For me totally not interesting DLC personages Zaeed and Kasumi.
If we talk about a possible new Asari in the squad, I agree to Shiala.

What more? What do you want to see? I of course also seemed insufficient, but the scene seemed to me a little clumsy, not ample motion control.
If more of Miri taking her clothes off then need greater detail the process, do not think that's really necessary.
Other comments?

Regarding the increase in inventory (armor and weapons), and basically support the idea of ME2.
For me really do not need a lot of essentially the same weapon.
In ME1, I spent more time on selling stuff than on action.

With the best ship and crew why should I buy and sell trash in retail stores? Spectrum should fund the Citadel Council, the best equipment.

Some of the ideas I support:
For example a mixed system Overheating + cell energy.

Remove "Results of the mission" It's like old times at 8-bit consoles, I completed the level and here are my results. Why? I understand how I played.

More abilities, if they will be 10, not 5 as in ME2 you'll use them all, I do not think so.
Only if it would be really unique abilities or passive (improves characteristics).

I also agree on a mixed system of inventory of ME1 and ME2,

I like to change ammunition as is done in ME2.
But some classes generally can not use ammunition, but anyone can develop a partner capacity ammo. This system is justified.
But I think it would be nice and logical, if before the beginning of the mission, as is done with arms can choose and ammunition (2 different), I think it would be correct.

But the most important and essential for me in Mass Effect, it is a story, plot and music.
Without the epic, unexpected and a dramatic denouement the rest does not matter.
If the story Mass Effect will completed trite and predictable, I will assume that my time spent in vain.

Earlier I wrote and it's probably all of my wishes.

more planets with weather effects like rain, and have the rain drip off your armour, like on jack's loyalty mission (roof only) - that was a cool effect that was so rarely used.

- Just like I said on dragon age suggestions thread...more EXPLORATION !

Mass Effect has such an awesome art direction it would be awesome to have a bit more exploration on some planets.

- More armor and weapon choices. - very important IMO

- Make Shepard take of his helmet before drinking something.

- More of the same awesome music/cutscenes

- Fix Shepards smile.... or maybe not :D

- Less mini-games - although I don't hate them, they are so many that they kill the pace of the missions sometimes.

- MAKE IT AWESOME BIOWARE

I don't want to sound like a jerkoff, but what if Omega finally got shut down. Totally lost power from no one taking care of it? I'm sure Aria would consider joining, that or run into huge asteroids. It would also make a fun mission to get her out. And the mercs feel like she's betraying them, leaving them on the city, so they attack, so you must fight through a mercenary group and leave Omega... oh... right... cave in the front door and blast a hole through afterlife's wall so you go through a whole new part of Omega.Posted ImagePosted ImagePosted Image
Honestly I don't think BioWare is paying ANY attention to this thread no matter how big it is. Only a hand full of people update it cause they're paid to... but I guess it's nice to share thoughts Posted Image

The ability to skip cutscenes I have watched numerous times.

Please for the love of all that is holy, put the dialog wheel in a neutral position with no default dialog selected.

I can't count the number of times I am skipping dialog I have seen umpteen times only to inadvertantly choose a dialog

option I didn't want.

The elevators are high up on my wish list.
As well as a good selection of guns. it brings variety and some depth to the game. I was sad when the numbers of guns was so limited in ME2.

I thought this would be cool but kind of a rip off from Andromeda. The illusive man uses the tech he gets or whats left of the base and builds a human/robot or cyborg and puts Edi's AI into it. She has the power to jump from body to Ship when she needs to. Becomes a love Interest to Joker and be a usable character for the squad.

What do you guys think?

Oh and if someone already said something like this. Sorry, didn't read all the post.

Wouldn't mind Earth as a hub planet. And more Tali, please!!

Not to sound corny or overly sentimental, but how about a marriage ceremony for Shepard and his love interest of choice?! That would be pretty sweet. Make it the ending or something... if you survive. :)
