Some quests, and instant, or quick resolutions after they are done.
For Example. The Asari, Krogan affair with the poetry, you can see them in Tuchanka...and the Asari is not very happy.
ELnora, you might get fooled or not, but you quickly find she was the culprit.
The Kid you help in Omega, or choose not to, by telling him not to fight archangel. You get a message from him in ME2
These quest left me a bit..... out of touch. In my opinion, which is a small one:
I Would have liked to have no resolution in ME3. Instant knowledge of your actions is not as exciting.
A quick example: Rescuing the Cerberus operative leaves EDI decrypting the info for a year. Leaving the what is going to happen.
With Elnora, a good way to have hit it off would have been to, have an encrypted message with the volus death, and not know who the murderer was until ME3. You kill elnora or not you dontknow what that will bring later on. A msg in ME2 with the Detective saying "we are decrypting the evidence thanks for the help", and in ME3, have a msg "we decrypted:...The Assassin was an asari found dead in the warehouse called elnora OR, the assassin is an asari called Elnora...which she got lost after you cleared the warehouse, just letting you know"
Now, ......since ME3...is going to be the last entry....hope not, but most likely, this small rant probably has no weight in the future game since it might be the last installment. But still for future games.

2) Keep the in-depth loyalty missions/character missions as part of the main quest. They really added character depth to my team, and although it took a lot of time, and quests were more linear than exploring random planets, the squad felt more meaningful to me after these quests.
3) Being able to keep playing as 'my' Shepard if I survive the suicide mission. ME2 is set up as a suicide mission, and it is stated that you're not able to play as 'your' Commander Shepard in ME3 if he dies in ME2, and neither is it a surprise if Shepard doesn't survive. Although this presents new gameplay opportunities, I wonder how the storyline will be structured in ME3.
Having a different Commander makes sense for newcomers and others who died during the suicide mission, but if I can import my original creation, I don't want there to be two Shepards saving the galaxy if I need to play as 'a' different Commander Shepard with a different team in Citadel Space or wherever while 'my' Commander Shepard is completing other save-the-galaxy quests with my team from ME2 in the Terminus Systems or wherever. I've become become surprisingly attached to my Shepard and other fictional characters made out of polygons.
So, I don't know how the ME3 storyline will be structured, but please...if I can import my Shepard after all s/he's been through, I would like him/her to remain an important character.
4) Keep the paragon/renegade interrupts from ME2! They were awesome!
5) More squad/character cutscenes/dialogue. More in-depth interaction with them. The turian was making too many calibrations in ME2, too often. More banter between squad characters, like in Dragon Age: Origins, such as comments about personal lives or relationships or interests. For example. Loyalty missions were filled with these--one of the reasons I liked them. I just had to make a dialogue option and watch what the consequences were.
6) Storyline death variables aside, please bring back these characters: Kaidan/Ashley/Wrex, Garrus, Mordin, Legion. Or maybe have them be cameo squadmates if there are new character options in ME3. Perhaps they can be a temporary squadmate to do a quest, which furthers the plot in ME3; they don't necessarily need to be a permanent squad member.
7) Customizable armor--colour-wise and strength wise, as in ME2.
8) Keep the weapon system in ME2 (although some would disagree, I found it easier and less time consuming than constantly upgrading and turning unused stuff into omni-gel). Having the research station in ME2 was cool!
9) Since everyone can possibly die in ME2 (not spoiling anything, just stating what was said in an interview), ME3 will definitely have new characters. However, maybe gamers can have the options of choosing these new squadmates or recruiting old ones. For example, in ME1, a person didn't need to recruit Garrus for the team, depending on the dialogue. Maybe a gamer wants to keep Thane on his team in ME3 instead of a hot new romance option Bioware might design. Maybe I can dump a certain quarian squadmate for a different tech specialist who I won't constantly need to use Unity on. Maybe certain dialogue options will make Jack leave in ME2 and I can replace her with a different biotic in ME3, or this new crew mate could be destroyed and I could keep Jack. I don't hate these characters (Thane's one of my favourites), but examples of choices.
10) Retain the mixture of old and new music. I loved the Suicide Run music from ME2, and the Galaxy Map music is a must from ME3, since it's in the two previous games. The Afterlife club had some cool music too. The Love Theme from ME1 is beautiful, and so is Reflections from ME2. Although those two are just examples, Including some of the previous ME tracks would be cool for continuity. Or even keeping Jack Wall as the composer for ME3.
11) Remember the side quests in ME1, such as searching for the turian insignias or the writings of a deceased Asari matriarch? Could those have some ramifications in ME3, small or large? (Maybe a bonus of turian armor or something, or a thank you email.)
12) The cinematics in Mass Effect were awesome. In ME2, they were spectacular. Nuances such as Shepard leaning back in her chair, punching elevator doors, crossing her arms, twitching her eyebrows and mouth in approval or disapproval...the ME universe came alive. Please keep it going!
13) Non-squad members that I enjoyed meeting/seeing: Captain Anderson, Captain Bailey, Dr. Chakwas, Matriarch Aethyta. It'd be great if they were in ME3.
If anybody from the Bioware developing team is reading this: Thanks for bothering to read this or even consider it! We fans are demanding.

the new loading screens are unimmersive and take just as long
yeah i know this is a small complaint but it comes up so much
the orange loading screens just remind you that your playing a game
better character development
characters are one of mass Effect's biggest strongpoints
yet they seem to like to have them all lock themselves in diferent closets for fear of actually moving
make them move around
a clock tells you its lunch time so you find some of your squad eating
bed time they fall asleep at the job or go to their beds where ever they sleep if you romance them they go to the Captain's quarters
it would make it very immersive
all of my complaints are immersion related
bring back the med kits
i dont care if you use powerful shields that recharge quickly that's the future
but bring back medigel and have it actually be usefull to yourself
make shields recharge but health not
bring in a flying vehicle that can land and hover above ground
fire probes fire missiles and machine guns
something with bullet proof controls and a fun way to gather recources
make it BIG
make the hb world very large and hard to navigate
well the "hard to navigate" part is just a formality show us more of Omega more of Illium and the citadel
maybe even have maps and landing locations for each of the worlds similar to how you can land in several locations on each planet in the metroid prime games
keep the squad
here's an easy way to keep certain squad members on the crew despite them being able to die in ME2
have them there to begin with
simply Omiting them should they have died
if you romance someone they stay if you had them since the begining of the series they stay
make a slot system where certain people wont join if others are on the crew making suitable replacments should your crew not survive
example: Samara does not allow the recruiting of a serial killer asari in ME3 so if you still decide to recruit said criminal she leaves
alternitavly if she already died you wont have to worry as the killer takes her slot
recruiting urdnot wreav puts you on Wrex's bad side and he refuses to help you
but if he's dead it doesnt matter
things like that
lastly pack a punch
make it hard
to watcha and to play
to play have it actually have difficulty curve instead of just smooth sailin through the whole game
and for watching make it hard to save everyone
give us a choice between saving alot of people and saving a character, make it hard to fully prepare for the final mission make you have to shut our eyes and pray that our favorite character survives
take the Serenity route by choosing the most lovable character and put them in danger even kill them right in front of the main character
make it feel like an ENDGAME

- The Normandy 3 will actually feature two A.I.'s. For the first half of the game, Seth McFarlane will play E.D.D.I.E., essentialy a computer version of Brian the Dog from Family Guy.
- For the second half of the game, E.D.D.I.E. will be "reformatted" thanks to a Reaper computer virus and will turn into an A.I. modeled after Marvin the Paranoid Android from The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, constantly depressed and annoying everyone on board with his non-stop complaints and doom and gloom attitude. The "Marvin" A.I. will be played by actor Stephen Moore, the original voice of Marvin in the Hitchhiker's radio and tv series.
- Frank Welker will take over as the voice of Harbinger, using his "Satan voice" that he uses as Dr. Claw on Inspector Gadget.
- Mark Hamill will play an "insane" Reaper.
- The Normandy 3 will be a dreadnought class ship, twice the size of the Normandy 2 (and thus four times the side of the original Normandy), with 10 levels.
- Being as big as it is, the Normandy 3 will have a Chief of Security, a fiery Latina named Macha Hernandez (a nod to the original name of Tasha Yar in ST:TNG).
- The next Mass Effect novel will be contracted out to legendary Star Trek novelist Diane Duane, who will bring to the title the same self-referential humor that she used in novels like Spock's World, The Wounded Sky, and Doctor's Orders.
- ME3's largest hub will be set in Kowloon, Singapore, patterned after the L.A. of Blade Runner and "The Narrows" of Gotham City in Batman Begins, a pollution infested, horribly overcrowded nightmare of urban blight and slum cities.

- After work on Mass Effect 3 is complete, the design team will take six weeks off while E.A. negotiates the video game rights to the Mad Max films. This will be BioWare's oppurtunity "to do Fallout right."
- Mass Effect 4 will not be an original story by BioWare, but will instead be an adaptation of Ben Ohlander and William Forstchen's novelization of Wing Commander 4: The Price of Freedom (which EA owns the rights to due to owning Origin).
- This adaptation will feature a 47-year old Shepard living as an overweight, alcoholic on a backwater farming colony, who is recalled to active duty by David Anderson to help prevent the breakout of war between the Systems Alliance and the Terminus Systems over a mysterious rash of pirate raids. Shepard is eventually forced to turn traitor and join the Terminus Systems Defense Force when his investigation reveals that Anderson himself is actually behind the attacks as a way of creating an enemy for the human militatry-industrial complex to use as an excuse to go to war with. A subplot will deal with the nearly fifty Shepard embarking on a relationship with his/her 22-year old Yeoman.
- Production on both games, as well as as any future Dragon Age games, will be delayed indefinitely however, until BioWare reissues both Jade Empire and the original Knights of the Old Republic on the 360/PS3 with updated graphics and a new coda to KOTOR that makes it clear that KOTOR 2 is a "what if" story that never really happened and Revan and Bastila lived happily ever after.
- ME4 and DA2 will also not be released until Jade Empire 2 and 3 are both completed and released.

I dissagree with almost everything you've said. I hope Bioware does not do this.figuare9 wrote...
Edit:2/11/2010
I just wanted to say thanks! This topic has turned into a huge thread, and every one of you have some really good ideas for the third Mass Effect. I really hope that Bioware will take keen attention to this topic and really help make this game shine. Remember, this isn't about judging what other people want! It's just a wishlist!
Mass effect is hands down the very best game I've ever played. I enjoyed the trilogy so far and look forward to the next more than ever. I'm creating this topic as a goal for the community to reach out to Bioware to make mass effect 3 the very best it could ever be. ME2 Seemed to suffer a little bit in areas that ME1 thrived in. These are a few things that I personally would love to see in mass effect 3. Although I'm well aware we all would like different things, it'd be great to have a few things back from ME1. Things that really made it shine, and possibly some new elements in the mix as well. I feel as if ME2 has gone too far into the FPS-Action only, and will probably have hardly any RPG aspect in ME3. If we don't correct it soon, it'll be too late. With that said, here's some things that I would love to see in ME3 to really give us that RPG feel.
Give us levels that make us feel like we've accomplished something! (VERY IMPORTANT!)
What's the point in leveling up a character when you don't unlock
something for getting there, or have a harder time fighting something as
you level up. Let me give you an example. This game levels you up very
well but you have no challenges. Enemies seem to stay at an incredibly
balanced difficulty throughout the game. It'd be nice to have enemies
outside of your level that are too difficult to kill, or much harder.
Another thing would be level requirements for certain ship upgrades,
guns, ammo, armor, etc. Give us the illusion that the higher the level
we are, the stronger we are! IMHO there was no
sense of this in ME2, and half the upgrades we got we never noticed.
Bring back the Inventory (upgradeable sizing)
Theres always a good feeling knowing what's in your backpack. RPG gamers love looting! It's always exciting to pick up something that may, or may not be better than what you currently own. Another aspect of that great RPG feel could be to upgrade our bag size. Looting objects and selling them at different markets would be great. For instance selling something at OMEGA could be more valuable than at the Citadel.
Upgradeable weapons/armor (The NEW fasioned way)
I don't really like the new weapon upgrades as much as the first ME. I think that for ME3 something completely different would be great for everybody who enjoys this game. Give us content! Perhaps a new sniper rifle barrel, or a different scope/zoom distance. Magazine size/Ammo size. ETC. Something that really can make our weapons UNIQUE! Everyone can have the highest upgrade, but with this method of customization there's many more ways to enjoy killing the reapers!
Where did the vehicle go!? Please. . . Give it back!!
I loved the driving aspect of the game. It really gave you a sense of how large the game was. It mad me feel cramped having to walk around everywhere. I'm not exactly sure why, but for some reason whenever I got into the vehicle the game just felt that much bigger to me. I loved it. It may not have driven the best, but it sure was a great part to the game. I heard of talk about them creating a vehicle, but I've completed the game, and explored every planet with no success of driving one, nor did I see a place where one could be used.
Please, Make the citadel larger.
This one is crucial to me, but I'm not sure how this strikes other gamers. I really enjoyed the citadel in ME1, not soo much in ME2 though. It seemed a lot smaller and the fact that it was just a bunch of levels on top of each other wasn't much for me. I really enjoyed being in the Citadel in ME1 and loved to explore the life in it. The Citadel in ME2 seems lifeless, just a bunch of shops and levels. I guess it's hit or miss on this one with the community, but I though I'd point it out.
While doing missions, make them less linear.
Hard to get lost during a mission, it always felt like a hallway leading with doors to the objective. DON'T get me wrong, I don't feel as if the game is linear, but 80% of the mission are. There's usually only one way to go, one way to complete it, and one way in/out. Open it up! we want to explore!
Keep the Normandy just as exploreable/vehicle
Another big one for me. I think it'd be great to have the normandy land on a planet, walk down to the cargo hold, get into a vehicle, and drive it out onto the unexplored planet. Something tiny, but it's this attention to detail that really makes a game shine!
More Normandy fights!
In ME2 we don't really use the upgrades for anything at all. We spend thousands and thousands on mats upgrading our ship. . . and for what? A quick dodge at the end of the game? I wanted to really see how the upgrades worked, all I seen was it go through some debree. Some dogfighting would be great.
Give us Earth! If ME3 really is the end of the trilogy (better not be!) than at least let us explore our homeplanet. Have the reapers invade it or something. I duno, just bring earth into the picture. I want to see it in the future.
Keep this as the best game I've ever played, just put some more RPG elements into it!
I hope this can be stickied, and we can all come together as a community to make Mass Effect 3 the best game to ever be released. . . . Until ME4-100 of course.

competitive multiplayer? probably not but this is a wish list so i cant hurt to ask. and besides, it would make the trilogy last even longer
mako! yea i know we whined and everything but please bring it back :'( but with better controls
elevator rides :DDDDDDDDDD but shorter load times would be appreciated
a fight in the normandy (ex bad group boards normandy, you kill them in the normandy)
larger enviroments, all the hub worlds felt really small
earth. nuff said
me1 rpg + me2 tps= me3 epicness
female turians, salarians, batarians (cant imagine that but that would be cool), krogan, etc. let me see the female camp :DDDDDD
dancing, not that dumb shuffling thing shepard does in me2
squadmates ranging from me1 characters to me2 to new characters
more squadmates at in the shore party
moar biotics powers
more choices
make mass effect 4 :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

CUSTOMIZATION:
-Customizable armor in ME2 was a step in the right direction, but I would like to see even more colors and options, and I didn't like that I couldn't re-color any of the armor sets (Terminus, Blood Dragon, etc.)
-While we're on the subject of customization, perhaps a way to re-paint the Normandy?
GAMEPLAY:
-I liked ME2's combat considerably better than the original, even though I consider myself much more of an RPG fan than I do a shooter fan. However, chest-high walls everywhere sort of push my reasonable suspension of disbelief. Find ways to make cover more subtle or seamless-looking.
-My previous statement is primarily based on playing as an Infiltrator, which is generally considered one of the better classes. Find ways to improve gameplay for classes that aren't as well-liked (people seem to dislike Adept and Soldier, if my skimming of other comments is to be trusted).
-Implement the dialogue wheel that Dragon Age is getting (in other words, put an emotion marker [flirtaceous, sarcastic, generous, hostile, etc.] next to dialog options, so that I'm not inadvertently using upper-right/Paragon options to flirt with crew members that I don't want to be hitting on), or paraphrase less vaguely.
-Give players who collect massive amounts of elements the option to start a business (or at least to sell the stuff). My Shepard is a capitalist galactic raider who has drained entire star systems of their resources, and I want Adam Smith to HATE his guts!
ROMANCES:
-An actual gay option would be nice, preferably a character who's low-key about his sexuality. I don't have anything against Zevran, but it'd be boring to do a copy/paste-type character. Human or alien is fine, as is whether it's a new or old character, but if it's a half-hearted attempt like the Jacob or Miranda romances in ME2, just leave it out entirely.
CHARACTERS:
-I liked ME2's characters, but it felt to me like each character didn't have as much character development as they did in ME1 (considering there were half as many characters, well...) I guess what I'm saying is that I want an ME1 level of characterization ALONG WITH the breadth of characters that we got in ME2.
-I know that I'm going to catch some flak for saying this, but allow Thane to die gracefully, but develop him more as a character posthumously by adding Kolyat to the team in ME3 assuming you saved him from jail with Charm/Intimidate. I like Thane, but it'd be a cop-out to me if he managed to survive solely based on fan appeal, unless Bioware finds a way to write it really, REALLY well.
-Legion as a ME3 party member, especially since it's impossible to learn very much about him if you want the golden ending. Give him the Oghren treatment without making him one-dimensional, in other words.
-Niftu Cal as a biotic party member, partially because there haven't been any majorly significant volus in the story, partially because it'd be hilarious if the drugs that he was given DID eventually give him ridiculously strong biotic powers.
-Garrus should return as a ME3 party member, though that's probably going to happen.
-I would like to see Kasumi back.
-Lilihierax (Li, the Novarian Turian) should return in some capacity, (not necessarily as a playable character, but perhaps a member of your ship's peripheral crew?)
-The Asari bartender on Illium should return as a minor NPC.
-Perhaps some kind of Reaper defector that wants to do something other than turn organic species into orange juice (maybe as a new late-game starship?). Again, this would have to be written carefully to prevent it from sounding ridiculous.
LOCALES:
-Locale-wise, it'd be fun to see a Turian, Salarian, or (especially) Geth colony/city/outpost/whatever.
-The option to return to various ME1/2 locales and see how your decisions have shaped things.
STORY ARCS:
-Depending on actions in ME2/ME3, Aria and Wrex meet some time in ME3.
MINOR NITPICKS:
-If there are pets in ME3, make sure they're all immortal like the Space Hamster.

+ want to continue playing my shepard
+ More roleplay stuff (character interaction, keep the dialog options (so not just click on something-reply like you introduced in DA:A and for Katsumi.)
+ Keep the diversified dialogues. We know from the DA:A experience how hard it is to make "on fits all options" dialogues as most of the times you have to take in consideration that 1) shepard may be male/femalel, may be still spectre or not, and in ME3 may be even dead (if player selected to die at the end of ME2). -> please do keep dialogues directly talking to Shepard, because it really makes the difference if you have the impression being recognized and playing a follow up, or that the import just took over some basic data and playing with a random hero afterwards (like you messed up (sorry its true) with DA:A.).
means: more reaction to shepard, and his achievments. yes i know its hard, but hey, we talk about bioware and ME here or ? thats what makes you guys different.
+ bring Liara and cool Old characters back
+ better skill tree
+ more levels/level management. Make XP gathering worthwile again
+ make it even bigger :-)
+ bigger Citadel, more side quests for XPing or just continuing enjoying the stuff between DLC releases. Or make a quest-generator. Back in privateer or elite that was fun and made the game nearly endless.
+ more life (Omega and the Tsanumi story were a cool start but should be evolved further)
+ more cool dark missions like the Omega DLC
keep up the good work guys.
ps. the mini games in me2 were much better. i had no reason to think all the time how to hack them out of the game.
but the mineral scanner/probe stuff is way too boring guys.
greetings,
Woodstock

I agree with figuare9.
I miss the armor of ME1 and the weapons we had.
I also miss the experience system of ME1, so you could see how much points you get for killing the bad guys. And that you could actually notice how much better you got the higher your level is. I liked the upgrades you could spend your experience points on much better of ME1. It really felt like you got better at fighting and using your sniper rifle (as example)! I don’t like the ability’s/experience points system of ME2 (sorry).
I would like to see more of the citadel and the planets of ME1, so I could see the changes (influences) which were made by Sheppard.
And last but not least I kinda miss the atmosphere you managed to create in ME1, I don’t know whether it was the music, but I felt more “close” to ME1 than 2.
Thank you for reading the posts of your ME fans,
Paula

Next what is most important for me is the paragon/renegade system. Keep it in game but change it a little. Give points for how we end conversations not what we are telling. I wanted to create an aggressive paragon hero but it's impossible. I enden up with almost fully renegade lady. That's one of the biggest problem for me. The rest is nearlly ok.
The other thing I would change is wepon/armour customization. Let us collect parts/ boosts/ upgrades during missions. Then make a place in the Armoury where we can add those to our wepons and armour. A little like in ME1. Make it imposible to change during missions, unless there is a safe place where you can do it ( like during archangel mission before the attack at the merc base). Our items will gain lvls during gameplay aand we will have more RPG elements.

We get to chose are Commander Shepard, if he's a spacer, earthborn, etc and even war hero and all.
Well, how about some flashbacks! If your a colonist, have a flashback of when the colonie was attacked and your friends/family was destroyed. You know then you have to escape and get rescued by the Allience. They don't have to be long missions. Just to really get to know your Commander Shepard, and also see him when he's younger
Also, many people have said it but... Tali unmasked!

1. More weapons: Without DLC you get 11 weapons with a 12th being a choice between 1 of 3. One of those weapons is only available on a harder difficultly. When you're playing a Soldier you get a lot of toys but you get next to nothing if you play any other class.
2. More Armor: Going hand in hand with more weapons more equipment would be fantastic. Personally I like the peicemail armor of ME2 to the "VI to VII" upgrades of ME1 and would like to see that trend continue. Also please do not put out a DLC that gives us an armor that is vastly superior to ever other armor in the game *cough* Aegis Pack *cough*. N7 look is great and I'd love to keep most of the armor to that style.
3. Heavy weapons that are worth using. We got 2 (in my sole opinion) and 1 was DLC. The Collector Particle Beam was/is insane and just overall broken. Beyond that most of the heavy weapons became useless after a 2-3 weapon upgrades anyway.
4. Weapons stats/Character Stats: They are in the game, we know it and you know it, just let us see them and how our equipment affects it. The one thing I love about playing an RPG is playing the numbers game with my stats. Also with the weapons, I want to see how a Battle Rifle is better then an Assualt Rifle. All I have to go on is some text telling me its better.
5: Equipable Armor for squad mates: Think that says it all. Make it change their look as well.
6: Weapon Upgrades: Upgrades that make me do 50% more damage at all times and 50% more against Armor Sheilds and Barriers is insane. Playing the game on normal difficulty was a joke at that point. Maybe only unlock the 50% bonuses on higher difficulties, or simply redo their style. I was a big fan of Obsidian's Alpha Protocall weapon upgrade system and would love to see a similar system for ME3. Would make me really feel like I'm "upgrading" my weapons and armor, rather then just just upgrading the same peice all the time. Though it is kind of cool that weapons in the ME universe are made of a shell and 3 parts =P
7. Missions like Overlord: If this DLC was a test for how ME3 would play, I'm sold. I felt that this was a great blend of the exploration of ME1 with the speed of ME2. More missions like this in ME3 and I will be a very happy player.
8. More use of the Normandy: We pour all of those resources into the Normandy and it blows up one ship? I wanna see Joker smash some people with it. He will, however, need a bigger gun to blow up some Reapers.
9. class Powers/Skills: Would prefer more powers for all classes, and get rid of ammo skills. If I'm playing a Soldier I can only spam CS and AR so much before I stop caring. Some armor skills or basic tech skills would be good. Also more then 5 skills would be cool.
10. Ammo Powers: Just make them slight improvements and available on all weapons from the get go, on every character. We just click them on in ME2 so why not. Somthing like disrupter rounds doing 10% additional damage against barriers and sythenitics, Incend rounds doing 10%dmg to armor and stops regen would be awsome. Keep them simple, and mostly weak, and they won't break the game.
11. Resource Collection: Easy, fun and fast on PC. Horrible, and insanely tedious on the 360. Wouldn't be so bad on 360 if it wasn't so SLOW, literally adding hours to the game for no reason. Make it faster on 360 so we get back to the game, rather then a boring grind.
12. Credits/Resource Availability: I can't imagine that Shepard is the only guy in the universe using these resources. Let us sell them for credits, cause I hate penny pinching so I can get the upgrades I want. Heck, an economy based off of how much of a resource you sold wouldn't be that hard to program. Sell too much Irridum and you get less, sell more Platnium and Irridum goes back up. This would also allow for more equipment to be available for sale.
13. Second disc with more then 5 hours of gameplay on it (360 only): Seriously all disc 2 had was Illium and the Suicide mission on it. Give me more game for that second disc. More N7, more loyalty, more then 5 hours.
Yeah thats all I could really ask for. There is one other thing that has come up though.
14. Multiplayer: Co-op story mode. We all know that there is another Shepard-like character out there, otherwise who else would you play as if Shepard dies in ME2? Some missions that would operate like the final mission in ME2 but as a co-op game would be very cool. Having people play as squad mates would also be awsome. The key thing here is it is not needed in anyway. If multiplayer was absent from the game I would not miss it in the least. A nice bonus but I, personally couldn't care less if it was there.
So that closes me out. Bioware, I'm looking forward to ME3. Give a date and my pre-order will be in that same day.

1. A different way to determine whether or not Shepard can charm or intimidate someone. In my opinion Shepard should have gotten better at charming and intimidating over the course of ME2, as shown by the slowly increasing paragon and renegade meters. Instead Shepard was almost guaranteed to steadily get worse at charming/intimidating as the game progressed.
The best way to do this I think would be to simply require that Shepard have a certain amount of paragon/renegade points, without comparing this to how many points Shepard could have had, as ME2 does.
2. A different way to get resources. Here is an idea I had:
Shepard has invested in a mining corporation in order to gather resources that the Alliance can use to build starships for the coming confrontation with the Reapers, and can decide where they will mine. There are several options, some with little risk but low yield, others with higher yield but more danger from pirates or environmental hazards. And as Shepard travels the galaxy and scans new planets, more options become available. Shepard can also help out by finding and destroying pirate bases, obtaining technology to deal with a hostile environment, etc.
Speaking of resources, please avoid the separation between story and gameplay that I often saw in ME2. I shouldn't be able to gather resources from a planet if it's in geth space (unless of course I can make the geth my allies), or if an environmental hazard such as extreme gravity is supposed to make mining impossible.
3. I'd like it if some sidequests could have an effect on the main storyline, even if only minor. For example, if Shepard did a lot of things for the mining corporation I previously mentioned, then it would be nice if the Alliance has more ships and thus holds out a little longer in the final confrontation against the Reapers than it would otherwise. That sort of thing makes sidequests really feel worth doing.
4. More interaction with Shepard's squad members. I'd especially like it if squad members reacted more to each other. Also, if a squad member had completed all the conversations it wasn't always clear in ME2, so I hope this can be improved. For example, Archangel always asked me if I could come back later, so I often came back to him after a doing a mission, vainly hoping that he would have something new to say.
