- Characters: Must have Tali, must have Garrus (with Thane comin' in third). No Tali an' Garrus would be a major gamebreaker for me (femshep/Tali romance option please).
- Customization: You guys forced me to steal NPC hairstyles for my custom Shepard... We like customization! The more options the better! Hairstyles, armor skins, models, casual attire, colors, etc.
- Seemless Zoning: What happened to my decontamination chamber!? Gotta keep the ship clean! I much preferred listening to my party members talking or listening to the news while taking the elevator. I can understand omitting these redundant scenes does speed up the pacing of the game but it breaks up the continuity. Less loading screens the better!
- Transportation: The Mako! I friggin' miss that gravity defying rig of mine!
- Toolset: ... Toolset!

-Tali, Garrus, and Legion. Tali and Garrus have been with me from the start; I consider them to be iconic characters of Mass Effect. Garrus is all about doing the right thing without being, as Admiral Kahoku would say, "stonewalled by bureaucratic a--holes." The quarians represent one of the central pillars of the ME universe: the relationship between organic and synthetic intelligence. Tali, despite her mask, gives her people a face and her internal conflict embodies the conflict her people and the whole galaxy face. Legion serves to provide the complementary view, giving the geth an identity. Tali and Legion are two parts of a whole. If these characters were to not return, or if they assume a very small role (like Kaidan, Ashley, Wrex, and Liara in ME2) I'd feel like not only had my Shepard's continuity been severed, so would my personal connection with the overall story. Without trying to sound too dramatic or create the impression that I am delivering an ultimatum (I don't wish to dictate terms), I'd feel like it's no longer a Mass Effect game. This is make or break for me. The treatment of these characters would influence a purchase decision.
-The changes to the weapon and armor system in ME2 are excellent, both from a mechanical and integral point of view. I would however like to see even more options available when it comes to weapon selection, armor, maybe even casual clothing. At least let my Paragon Sheps get out of those Cerberus duds while on his own ship, without having to look like a pirate! I also like the color palettes for armor. Keep it!

Agree with everything you wrote. I especially like exploring things. I'd like to see more interactivity on the Normandy, and definitely want the vehicle back. I'd also like to see the inside of the vehicle, have a toggleable view like in Crysis, so I can see from the inside perspective or outside.figuare9 wrote...
Where did the vehicle go!? Please. . . Give it back!!
I loved the driving aspect of the game. It really gave you a sense of how large the game was. It mad me feel cramped having to walk around everywhere. I'm not exactly sure why, but for some reason whenever I got into the vehicle the game just felt that much bigger to me. I loved it. It may not have driven the best, but it sure was a great part to the game. I heard of talk about them creating a vehicle, but I've completed the game, and explored every planet with no success of driving one, nor did I see a place where one could be used.
Keep the Normandy just as exploreable/vehicle
Another big one for me. I think it'd be great to have the normandy land on a planet, walk down to the cargo hold, get into a vehicle, and drive it out onto the unexplored planet. Something tiny, but it's this attention to detail that really makes a game shine!
More Normandy fights!
In ME2 we don't really use the upgrades for anything at all. We spend thousands and thousands on mats upgrading our ship. . . and for what? A quick dodge at the end of the game? I wanted to really see how the upgrades worked, all I seen was it go through some debree. Some dogfighting would be great.
Give us Earth! If ME3 really is the end of the trilogy (better not be!) than at least let us explore our homeplanet. Have the reapers invade it or something. I duno, just bring earth into the picture. I want to see it in the future.
TBH I much prefer interactive world compared to story, tone the story down a bit and give us more things to control in game.

1) Team members - please, just please, bring back the old team, not a completely new one. All my team mates survived in ME2, so I want them back, not some new teammates. Also: Liara and Kaidan (in my case). Team members are a very important element of the game, with the finale in ME3 I expect team members who have been with me through a lot.
2) Citadel - All 5 wards with Presidium. I like exploring the citadel, walking and hearing conversations. For people who don't like that there is the rapid transit system, but I enjoy walking around, exploring. I miss the presidium. + Overall more random encounters, like helping the Asari getting off of the station, or the Quarian who is being harrasse by c-sec and a volus.
3) Main race homeworlds. I'd love to visit Turian, Asari, Salarian homeworlds. Also Earth.
4) Random space encounters. When flying in a system or a "sector" there could be that you pick up a random distress signal or an anomoly or smth. Like scanning a planet for anomoly, but completely random, not preassigned to a specific planet.
5) Really miss a good minigame. Remember KOTOR, Pazaak? I could make some credit that way, depending of whom you were playing, but a minigame of this type (not necessarily with cards) would be awesome.
6) Planet exploration: vehicles. I liked that there was no more pointless roaming around, but several mission with vehicles would be awesome.
7) An "arena". The one in Krogan homeworld, let me bid on the fights. How about a an arena for fighters, to test their skills for honor/money etc. Again KOTOR reference - in Taris, you could fight like that and I enjoyed it a lot. Would be a good addition.
8) Choices. In ME2 I liked that you could save all members, lose all, lose some, while in ME1 I still dislike the Kaidan or Ash, wish I could save them both, one of them or neither.
What I would absolutely love is - look at my past choices and how they will influence the upcoming battle. For example if I save the Rachni queen, at ctiritcal moment their ship come in and let me save both objectives, instead of choosing a single one (just an example. But overall, I want something between the lines: "I don't believe in no win scenario". So I wish there would be no choices like: either save race X or race Z.
9) Inventory. While ME1 had too much stuff, that was turned into omni-gel, ME2 had too few items. Overall it was an improvement, but I would like to get more options in armor, weapons. I support the idea of changing armor only at specific points, same with weapons.
10) Upgrades. They were a nice edition, however not enitrely what I hoped for. What I would iwsh for is that in addition to "buying tech", you could have the scientist on board actually do research on that. For example: you have been fighting an enemy for some time, so the data gathered, would be useful in learning about the enemy strengths and weaknesses. "Research" projects, would be most welcome".
11) This is a very big wish, but what the hell - I think its a great idea. Your own oranization. Get a permenant ground base. Recruit people to work in it. From weapon research, data/info collection ( Shadow Broker, Illusive man), go around galaxy explore, find valuable tech, reaserch it. Get some mining bases to get passive resource income. Get defenses up, with random attacks/infiltrations from enemy. In Neverwinter Nights 2 you got a keep. In Dragon Age origins you will get a Grey Warden Base. I simply love the idea. However then it conflicts with Normandy, as it was a main abse for you and I would hate to see it go.
12) Old "friends". We've been travelling the galaxy for some time, meeting people, helping them (or not). It would be nice to see in ME3 that those old connections come in play. I don't want to go on all the time: Hey, I'm Shepahrd, you probably heard of me, can I help?". Would be nice to see them helping out in some situations, meaning that if you helped them out in past, they can return the favor now. Or have some more jobs, because they trust you now. It's a big galaxy,b ut seeing some old familiar faces would be awesome. Hell - its the last part (I wish it was not) so why not bring every single person you've met so far, helped. Even from the letters you were getting - like the crazy person who escaped from Purgatory, the prison ship and sent you a letter.
13) Please take your time. ME3 should be epic in size. I mean = (ME1 +ME2)x3. Its the finale, the end, the big showdown. I completed ME2 in 3 days (twice now, with same, amount spent), by exploring everything, doing all the missions, talking, without any rush to complete it and enjoying it immensly. So please, just begging Bioware - release an epic game, not only everything in high quality, but in size as well, because after the big finale all the DLC just won't be the same
14) I know its cliche, but I want to recruit the races for final fight, like in DA:O. I mean it was fun, and actually ME feels more epic in scale, so could pull off even a bigger hit. What I wish for is that you can recruit both Quarians and Geth (or one of them) etc, so choices should be flexible.
15) Surprises. The big surprise in ME1 was reapers. In ME2 it was kinda finding about the Collectors were protheans, but that wasnt as epic as in ME1. Could make a more "pleasant" surprise this time? I mean like for example a race that is millions of years old and has managed to stay hidden and safe, gathering data on reapers. We might think of that race as extremely primitve (lol the Pyjankas, or whatever those monkeys are called). Maybe they could go out of hiding and offer support, because they believe the cycle can be stopped. Please - make this time a more positive twist in the story.
16) Old choices. I wish some seemingly irrelevant or less important choices would carry greiter weight in the last part. Example: the scientist on Virmire that I let go, also which I let go in getting Grunt mission, could actually do something usefull for me, hell won't kill her even if she is involved in crazy stuff again, cause I like her
Or the Citadel fan - might actually do something crazy again. Even the Keeper scans I took back in ME1 - got a mail from taht guy with "interesting" discovery - well maybe that reasearch may prove to be of great use.
17) Choices again - I think people who played ME1 and ME2 should be rewarded in ME3. How? Well the choices we made, even the small ones should be all in ME3 game, with mroem meaning then in ME2, more impact. If people skipped those missions or lets say killed those people, when they simply are not available to them. I think we deserve at least that.

but i'll copy paste
Problems with Mass effect 2 and suggestions for Mass Effect 3:
I am not flaming M.E 2 in any way just pointing out how I believe it could be improved, as I believe Mass Effect 3 needs to be that one we will all remember.
Firstly, The Helmet issue, I believe a toggle such as the one in the first one would be widely accepted. Or an auto toggle in dialogue scenes would be a great addition, something very similar to the toggle in Dragon Age: Origins.
Secondly, The whole scanning planets thing is cool at first but it wears off, I mean doing the same thing over and over gets rather tedious and boring. Sure the Mako annoyed lots of people, but you still got that feeling that you were experiencing the Mass Effect universe first hand.
Planetary travel, I enjoyed the small Normandy travelling through space, But I believe something akin to the travel seen in the game 'Freelancer' Would be widely accepted and would revolutionise the series. This would give that greater feel that you are the commander of your ship, and that the upgrades etc actually make a difference in your ship, not just seeing them in a cut scene, we are talking about a game here not a movie, and an amazing game at that.
Even by manually flying to the relay and selecting your destination from there could be kept the same,
Just by actually taking control of the Normandy and flying it through space would be amazing, And It wouldn't take too much programming for different planetary systems. for example making it so that you can fly the normandy around (In a 3D style akin to flight etc in Freelancer)
through a system. And then for different planets in different systems just change texture style and planet location within the system.
This would be a step up from the current system.
Thirdly, Relationships in game, I've lost count for the amount of times I've heard Garrus say: "Can it wait for a bit? I'm in the middle of some calibrations"
for post game, I believe another line of dialogue or something besides the pre omega 4 relay line should be implemented. It adds that element that you have achieved something and thus things have changed and you can experience something new.
Also when you invite your Love Interest to your Cabin maybe add a lil something else. Just to keep things interesting.
fourth, Combat I must say well done in Mass Effect 2, enjoyed the combat system however I found the lack of variety in weapons rather dissapointing. Maybe add in a few more, I'm not saying to the extent of Mass Effect 1. But enough to keep that diversity and and excitement of trying out something new.
and Finally, A rather small 'issue', was the end game/credit music. Mass Effect 1 WOW, M4 Part II by The Faunts was AMAZING. Honestly whenever I listen to that song I reminisce about the overall Mass Effect experience. I was curious as to what the end game track would be this time round but was dissapointed to find none containing lyrics. Loved 'This is War' by 30 Seconds to Mars in Drgaon Age.
But in Mass Effect 3 I must suggest putting in another amazing song. I personally believe the best song to end off Mass Effect 3 would be M4 Part II (The Paronomasiac Remix), as this would symbolize the change from Mass Effect 1 through to 3, yet still retaining that same element or 'feel' to it.
If not that, something that still retains that 'space age' kind of feel to it.
Because the end game song is one of the critical things that will cause people to remember the series/franchise.
I do believe these small implementations (well in the case of the Space Travel not so small) could create that "WOW AMAZING" feel to the game, or atleast add to it, and will further the customer loyalty to the brand.
But otherwise those are my views and suggestions for Mass Effect 3.
Feel free to add what you believe would make Mass Effect 3 even better than the rest.
EDIT: P.S sorry If I've repeated what someone else has said already. didn't have the time to read all posts :innocent:

- Cover mechanics can be streamlined a bit more - I'm sure you are more familiar with the "state of the art" games in cover shooters than I am.
- I don't miss the ME1 inventory system. It would be good if the weapons within a group would be a bit more diverse. The upgrade display ingame was messy, maybe replace it with a graphical display (a la tech tree from 4x games) showing upgrade status.
- I liked the N7 missions, but some of them were just too short (e.g. puzzle mission to activate shield). N7 side quest sequences are of course more fun than standalone ones. I prefer side quests that are introduced by ingame characters to those that I stumble upon by scanning randomly. Mission variety was good. Don't want any silly space tanks.
- I don't like the scanning game. The other mini games were alright (although I am not a fan of mini games in general).
- Get rid of the mission complete screens (if your boss asks you why, respond with "it breaks immersion"). I think the XP system is based purely on completing missions, which I like.
- I like the general skill changes, but would like to have all skills available without having to partially train one. One more skill per character while keeping the same amount of XP would also allow us to specialize more.
- Redesign the huge text display that would sometimes appear ingame. It is very ugly, make it smaller and more in line with the normal info boxes (modal version of those).
- Do not make me feed the fish again.
- Obviously there is room for streamlining the online registration and DLC processes. Plan that early for once.
- I don't like the way squad member comments about places are tacked to landmarks.
- I would like to see which dialog options I have already "done" in the dialog menus. It would be nice if you could streamline the "investigate" stuff a bit (I would usually click through all of those, you should do that for me).
- Don't let the dialog options for rejected love interests die out altogether after rejection.
- More "on ship" crew interaction would be nice - both with the crew and with and between squad members onboard.
- A less silly boss to battle at the end of the game would be nice (carry over from ME1). I would rather fight groups of hostiles than a single boss as the final (or capture the flag type with infinite waves of hostiles).
- Don't make a space battle mini game unless it is actually really good.
- Longer main plot for finale (will happen anyway I would assume).
- As many of the ME2 (& ME1) squad members as possible should be involved in the story or squad (I prefer the ME2 ones, as they were much more interesting in my opinion).
- Interruptions of side questing with story missions were good and the timing was appropriate.
- Don't overdo speciality missions where you are playing alone or someone else.
- Ambiguous choices = best choices.

Sensitivity
- Why isn't there a slider bar? There should be more then 3 predefined sensitivity options, Adjusting windows sens or mouse dpi affects the cursor speed for menus as well. The lowest setting available for PC users is way too fast for me. Being forced to edit the Coalesced.ini myself speaks poorly of your game testers.
- Why can't I bind weapons to keys? I could do this in ME1, (pressing F1-F4 by default) I understand how weapons could conflict with 1-8, but I'm using a Keyboard + 8 button mouse which gives me access to a lot of keys to use.
- Seperate Use/Cover/Sprint. Leave Sprint/Storm as Left shift like it is in a million other games. Use/Cover can be bound to spacebar as there is no Jump mechanic in ME1/2. This could also reduce the Elevator bug, I'm fairly sure this affects PC players who are used to sprinting a lot around, and would do this near cover (I could be wrong).
- Why cant I double click? You can double click on items in Dragon age, and even on menus, not implementing this for your PC port is just LAZY
- Increase the ammo capacity of the shotgun and handcannon. So I can carry around 800 bullets in my SMG but cant carry more then 24 shells for the hand cannon? Personally I dislike being forced to play with the smg while my pistol is out of ammo after a few shots :/
- The mining minigame was very boring. I realise its optional but its still boring. I equate it to farming in WOW, you dont have to do it but it obviously benefits you in the end by participating in this mundane activity. Please spare us from this tedium in future.
- UT3 Video tweaks. I was able to majorly improve the quality of the graphics from editing the GamerSettings.ini, why arent these options available via the UI or the ME2config.exe, surely you want to allow people with high end systems to play the game in the best quality available?

When importing I would like to be able to back out and choose a different save if the one I chose isn't really the one I wanted(after looking at the list of the choices I made).
No working with or for Cerberus. Can we have the option to destroy them?
Like to see Earth.
Longer more involved main story(like ME)
Lots of romantic interaction with our LI's...and not with the kind of cheesy dialog that Jacob had.
Please further develop the characters from the first game.

First... I don't think there was enough for everyone who wasn't Shepherd. I mean 4 Skills each(Including the Base class Skills). I think it's cool that Shepherd is special but when he has 8 Skills and everyone else has only 4 it seems a bit overkill. I really think there should have bee alot more room for Customization.
Really that's the biggest one. Customization was one of the coolest features of ME1. Now I did not like the Kazillion different types of weapons. Since there were only like 2 or 3 Companies who made anything worth a crap and everything else was for Omnigel. However something more like 5 or 6 Different weapons of each kind, and each weapon having advantages and drawbacks... Also adding the ability to Customize each weapons Look as well as tweaking it's performance would be spectacular.
For example... Adding more Ammo, or More Damage, or Longer Range, or Better accuracy. A few customizable features to each weapon and with several weapons suited for different situations...
I feel there is alos alot more room for Armor Customization. I REALLY liked what you did with the Armor in this one, and I think you should continue along those lines only add several dozen improvements.
Second... I think you could go alot farther with the Skills in this one. Maybe take the same Default Layout for part three, and add in 30 More levels? Or even more? And instead of a special choice at level 4, let them choose a new progression path which continues to 8. Everyone gets to choose one or the other but not both skills in each category...
I also think I'd like to see a little more strength in certain areas. Stealth and Subterfuge could play much greater roles in this game than they do.
Also how about Some Space, and Vehicle Combat? Could be alot of fun. Maybe not even directly? As in... Maybe you could have Shepherd make actual combat decisions from His/Her command station... Not so much controlling the ship directly but rather giving the orders as to how to deal with the situation. That could be a lot of fun! Commanding the ship but not having any direct control... Like a real Captain.

2. I didn't like the fact that unless you had a romance plox with someone, your team didn't really have much to say. In me1 I would go and see what new news they had to share after going on a mission. In me2 you can only get maybe 1 additional conversation after you've done there loyalty quest.
3. Talis face. Yes I'm serous.

- More of the Dragon Age number of party dialogues. It felt as if ME2 was too lengthy a game for the amount of dialogue given, especially since the pace is set in stone as to when you can get new dialogues again. You can't exhaust them early on like in DA, and yet exhausted they were if one goes through all sidemissions as well.
- Work with the characters you already have and deepen their storyline while tying it to Shepards. Character interaction, romantically or not, is one of Bioware's strengths and the reason I am such a big fan. I would like to learn more about the characters I've grown to love. But also want them to learn more about Shepard, ask her how's she's doing etc.
- Please, please, no lovescene before the big end battle again. Move it up to earlier in the game and end the game with a more serious expression of love like a proposal. Also, while the 'calling your LI to your quarters" option after ME2 ended was nice, I would rather see gestures like that during the main runthrough of the game.
- I enjoyed seeing different sides of Shepard in ME2, with her comforting people by placing her hand on a shoulder etc. Please continue this in ME3 and possibly add some softness to her, she's gone through hell after all and has this big cabin all to herself to let go of her emotions
- Less forced cheesyness, yes I'm talking about how Shepard approaches Jacob. That opening line really made me cringe and pretty much ruined whatever interaction was left with that specific character. Unless the character is Shepards LI ofcourse.
- If possible, bring up the female Shepard to male Shepard standards. Part of me feels as if the game is designed around the iconic male Shepard and later the female version is worked into the mix. I am talking about the manly animations female Shepards display like her sitting down, her dancing etc.
- Seperate Ashley from Kaidan, they are two different characters just like in ME1 where only the lovescene was the same animation. Seeing Kaidan at the start of ME2 in Ashley's armor really made me frown and their scenes, besides slight adjustments to the dialogue, on Horizon are mirrored as well. I know one of them is always dead on playthroughs, but that doesn't mean their roles should be applyable to both characters.
- Please allow us to remove helmets from your lovely DLC/Bonus armor. Would have loved to wear the Dragon Age armor but I can't stomach wearing a helmet all the time, let alone drink through it
- Another way to integrate the mission complete screen would be lovely. Like a status update in the briefing room, with Shepard physically watching the information instead of a frozen picture of TIM.
- Party Banter, can't stress this enough. It has always been a great aspect of your games and would love to see it in ME3. I'm sure some of the characters have a lot to say to eachother
- Make scanning more fun, let us find items or tech on occassion in between resources. Or let us listen in on transmissions that open up new sidequests.
- Omni gel over Health Generation any time. I enjoyed being more of a medic on one of my runthroughs of ME1.
- Loved the interrupt system and hopefully that will return in ME3. However, I would like to see it in squadmember dialogues as well. Would have loved an option to interrupt some conversations, in a good or bad way.

The casual attire thing, it's sweet but the way it's now. It's kinda usless. Would be nice to actually wear it outside of the ship, in these certain "safe-zones". Slap a pistol to your hip, and your good to go. If there supposed to be some firefight there, then it makes it more difficult and fun. Oh, and need more customisation. The clothes were boring and dull, i went with the first choice. The last, was....mildy disturbing
The whole fighting system is ok, but the cover thing needs a bit polishing. hide, jump, and sprint i one button. Would be much better to keep them seperate. I love to have a jump function, but since we don't have that. We have press "w+space" it's ok..But smells like console port to me.
The inventory system, or lack of, is ok by me. But i loved the amount of different weapon types in me1, gave me the feeling of being able to customize alot of different aspects.
Resource grinding, is what i would call it. It was a vast improvment from me1. And actually fun, the first couple of times. But then, it became tidious and boring. I don't know how to make it better, but it needs improvment.
Then the interaction with your teammates, it's been more fleshed out. But I love rpg, so i would prefer more dialouge. More talktime, doesn't need to go anywhere but i love discussions and talks with my mates.
The last, more side missions, more randomness
That's it, now i'm of to play som more me2

STORY
1. More dialogue’s options and greater interaction with the mates, reducing, wherever possible, the depressing "I'm busy, come back later."
Some option box that affect your life too, not just the mates (as both beautiful and interesting to hear their stories and their feelings they are): I found a bit 'strange that although you are the leader and despite the loyalty and affection that you can get from your mates, no one ever asks what you feel and how you are!
2. More opportunities to use the Paragon and Renegade Scores: The Action idea during the dialogue is excellent and I hope to be exploited in ME3, but I also hope that there are more possibilities to enforce these scores in history, giving him more depth.
3. Possibility of finding (and maybe recruit) the old fellow of ME1 and ME2, in order to give continuity to the story. I imagine there will be a need to introduce new companions, but I sincerely hope that this does not come at the expense of someone who is fond of the old ones and has worked hard to keep them alive in ME2.
(Please do not make Thane Die! I REALLY love that guy)
4. Story ending activities in all three games: the ideal would be, IMHO, a final description DA:O’s style that summarize the consequences of your choices and leaves several possibilities depending on the Paragon / Renegade score, of Romance lived, primes and secondarieses accomplished decisions during the game time
GAMEPLAY
1. More thickness to the main sites like the Citadel, with more opportunities for exploration and interaction. DO NOT reenter the Mako and the sterile planet’s explorations, I found the perfect starting the missions, especially the secondary ones, straight into the action without first turning on that terrible vehicle.
I appreciated also the scanning of the planets and the search for raw materials for reinforcements, who gave a break from the game and made most experienced upgrades. However, I will insert some secondary mission, but otherwise I will leave this part of the game very similar to ME2.
2. Very important, IMHO: more weapons and armor’s pieces. The number of weapons that can be chosen for the same type, I found it some poor and disappointing, and I would have appreciated having more chances on those parts of the armature, perhaps by having more places other than where to look.
3. Possibility to wear\\\\unwear the helmet during the mission, as happened before in ME1, and possibility to extend this feature to the companions, I found some improbable leading Shepard in armor and helmet, while some Companions were still comfortably in casual’s clothes.
4. Leave the cabin customization like it’s in ME2, you can add multiple items: I really liked the fish and collecting starship’s models and I think that has made a minimum thickness in the character even more. More pets, too, would be ideal.

I feel as if ME2 has gone too far into the FPS-Action only, and will probably have hardly any RPG aspect in ME3. If we don't correct it soon, it'll be too late. With that said, here's some things that I would love to see in ME3 to really give us that RPG feel.
I pretty much agree with the OP.
If BioWare is determined to make this more actiony than RPGish, then I think some compromises can still be made to strike a good balance. ME1 is one side of the pendulum, ME2 has swung to the other side.
Inventory/upgrades/tiers: Please bring it back. A compromise is to make fewer types of upgrades and fewer levels of these upgrades. If you only make 5 tiers of upgrades/weapons/armors for example, there can be a larger distinction between the levels, which is more noticable to the player, than if there are 10. Don't have the items drop as often to avoid filling the inventory. Restrict weapons to only 1 upgrade slot perhaps to avoid double frictionless material Xs (although nerf the frictionless materials anyways
You already have art for the Presidium and Wards and all the other parts of the Citadel. Why not spruce it up and use it in addition to the new art?
Speaking of art, any planet that exists in ME1 should look the same in ME2 (referring to that planet with the huge trench carved by a "stray" mass accelerator round that looked completely different in ME2), and the same in ME3 for both the ME1 and ME2 planets.
Heatsinks: The pacing of the new combat is more fun, but I still think that a hybrid overheat system with the new heatsinks would be the best option.
Romances! ME3, being the triumphant conclusion to the trilogy, had better spend a good chunk of time on interaction between your Shepard and their love interests from ME1 and now ME2 (:cough:Liara:cough:) The interaction with the ME1 LIs in ME2 was underwhelming.
