I'd like to have the old atributes to the weapons back. And that you could upgrade these atributes by changing parts and putting new things, like scope, barrels, magazines, etc. And that the squad could be composed of more than just three members.

I'd like to think this has already been suggested, but just in case: I'd like the biotic abilities to be tweaked back to how they functioned in one. What point is there to being a vanguard or adept if I can't use biotics simultaneously. .

Ive already expressed my desire for team mates, but Ive been thinking it over a bit more.

I think that they should give us a long roster of characters who we can recruit for our team, but we shouldnt be able to recruit all of them. Set a limit, so if we have 20 characters to pick from, we can only choose 10.

Also I think past actions, such as if you gained their loyalty in ME2, should matter on if they can be convinced to join you. For instance, if you lost Miranda's loyalty, she would go back to Cerberus instead of following you, or if you lost Tali's loyalty, she would still be hurt by you throwing her father under the bus to trust you enough, etc etc.

I believe that we should be able to have the option of picking from all the former team mates from ME1 and ME2, depending on who is alive and loyalty. Ashley/Kaidan and Liara + 1 person from ME2 would be a given, as A/K and Liara survive ME1 and ME2, and you need at least one person alive to save you at the end of ME2. Also, I would hope Thane is not an option. His illness would leave him too weak or dead, and I dont want them going the route of curing him, completely making much of his interactions in ME2 pointless. So this would make for 14 possible teammates.

Next I would hope they would give us a chance to recruit people we have met before. Conditions for these teammates being available would rest on if they survived the situations where we met them.
1. Sidonis, Turian. Available if survives Garrus's loyalty mission.
2. Kal'Reegar, Quarian. Available if survives Tali's recruitment mission.
3. Shiala, Asari. Available if spared at the end of the Feros mission.
4. Maelon, Salarian. Available is survives Mordin's loyalty mission.
5. Conrad Verner, Human. Available if survives his own stupidity.
So this brings the total up to 19

Finally, I would assume that they would add brand new characters into the fold, so here are my ideas.
1. Hanar. Pure biotic since they cant lift anything. Would have amazing recharge time on powers to make up for lack of guns. Only available depending on actions with Preaching Hanar/Opold.
2. Elcor. Slow moving weapons specialist. Has high armor and can use heavy weapons. Only available depending on actions with Harrot.
3. Volus. Biotic/Tech specialist. Only weapon choice is a pistol. Only available depending on actions with Pitne For/Jahleed/Niftu Kal
4. Batarian. Tech and Weapon specialist. Only available depending on actions with Charn/Cathka.
5. Raloi. Always available
6. Female Krogan/Salarian/Turian. Always available.
So this leads to a final total of 25 characters to choose for your team.

Its a lot, but I think it would be neat, and would allow for more replay value, since the game could be very different depending on who you are able to recruit and do recruit.

Yeah, the only problem about that, is that It concentrates too much on ME2. If someone buys Mass Effect 3 and doesn't have a saved file on their gamercard, what happens? Unless, it's random for each playthrough, or you could select.

I agree with you on Thane, even though he's my favourite character. Hopefully they'll put his son in the team instead.

I've thought about Hanar/Volus/Elcor, but some species aren't made for fighting, It's like having a Varren or Vixen on your team. I can see the hanar, but the other two just can't. They're not Humanoids. Hanar would be weird though at the same time, and incredibly annoying to talk to.

You know what I want to see? And epic ship battle in Space involving every single type of Spaceship in the Mass Effect universe, we've never had a glimpse of what type of ships are used by the other species. All we've seen are Human freighters, Asari Dreadnoughts, Turian cruisers, Human cruisers, Quarian ships and a Human/Turian Frigate. What about other ships such as Human Dreadnoughts  and Carriers, Batarian ships, and Salarian ships?

I think you're missing out Reapers, of course. If that counts.

I really think they need a male Quarian. So badly.

And a Sentinel Asari would be awesome.

I Totally agree with that starter. There were loads of epic little bits from ME1 that disappeared in the sequel, like the Inventory system and the Mako. Sure there are a fair few people out there that didn't like them but i'm seeing a lot of love for them from us more dedicated fans here. That said there were aspects of ME2's weapon upgrading thing i did like, and the lack of Mako probs saved me about 20 hours of play time wasted crawling up vertical mountains, but it did make the worlds in ME2 seem really small - and it took forever 'till you upgraded enough for you to feel like you're weapon actually Pwned!

Not worth me going into much real detail - I don't know if the Bioware developers read these blogs (I hope they do) - but here's a few in game things I'd love from ME3 pleasee! :D

- Earth Mission. Either make it a big adventure like noveria, or a hub like illium. It'd be so awsome to see what it was like!

- Other Spectres, Ships and Homeworlds. I liked visiting the migrant fleet and tutchanka was interesting too. Nhilus and Saren are the only Spectres i've ever come across - i know there's only like 100 or so but, don't they have board meetings or something? Also It'd be cool to serve on or see another ship - like an alliance or turian cruiser - the destiny's ascension maybe? (if you saved it)

- At least one Mako mission? - love it or hate it it was pretty cool. Maybe make it a tank or something

- Massive Battle Scenes. Ok maybe they're an effort for graphics people (and your PC's brain) but i am waiting to see some Epic battles - not just three man supergroups - in ME3. Imagine the normandy fighting a reaper, or two, when the whole alliance fleet comes jumping out of FTL to save their asses. It'd be pure Pwnage. Imagine watching hundereds of tanked up elcor fighting for their homeworld! no? just a thought...

Maybe in a sequel then - just don't do a 'halo wars' on us ;)

And a few personal niggles;

- Hanar! - Possibly the best alien ever thought up, I was mortified i didn't even get to speak to one in ME2. More involvement in 3 yeah?

- Quarians, Armour & Spacesuits - Everyone wants to see what the Quarians really look like, right? Actually It'd be interesting to see what most species looked like under their Armour. I've only ever seen Turian heads and feet, for example. It'd be cool to see more, no?

- Council - Wouldn't you like to slap Udina?

- Citadel - Bigger please? I thought i was in a shopping Centre in Slough! (apologies) Not the political and economic hub of most sapient life in the galaxy?

I'd bet i could list things for days, but I'm bored for now, Having read all the codex there's so much more to be squeezed out of the ME universe and i'd love to see it. Hope some developers notice this and - if it's not too late - get some of it in. but what are the chances i don't even have a subscription lol

Congratulations if you red all that - Appreciated! =)

My wishlist would be to have more interaction between party members. People discussing what is going on and not just Sheperd and squadmate interaction but interaction with squadmate to squadmate. Group discussion between characters etc. lots more of that. Like j rpg's....

Dragon Age did the same thing no character interaction between party members in cut scenes it only happened when you walked around durin gameplay. I would like to see more cut scenes and FMV'S in both Mass Effect series and Dragon Age Series.

Hair, Clothing, and Armor

Better hair types for females! I like the messy layered look but have you seen the mods others are doing? And why is it every other girl I meet has better hair then me! I want different hair dos in fact I want DLC for ME2! Come on guys give the ladies some love and style!

2. Also Armor for FShep that doesn't make her look like a boy! I Don't want to be all Hello Kitty feminine but honestly I do have a chest one piece of current armor makes me look flat as a board! I don't want that!!! 3. I want kick ass armor that looks as bad ass as the boys but actually says I'm a girl under here! Sorry my characters a girl I can't hide that!

4. Give better casual outfits! For both sexes! I liked the mad max look for MShep but I want others don't shove me in hospital wear damn it Jim I'm not a doctor!

5. Give the girl Shepards some fashion clothing and not the sleazy wear I see some of them wearing like Wong sported in ME1 I don't want that If I wanted to look like a hooker I'd run around naked! Give me pants, cute tops, skirts, hats, things like that maybe I could dress and color her outfits as I want even raid, collect, and buy them! Give the girls some love!

Voice Actors

1. Give the MShepard voice actor some lessons in inflection! He sounds so monotone infact Legion expresses emotion, jokes, and sarcasm better then he does! I want to play as the male but the voice actor kills any hope of my enjoying his lines I mean I do need to be stuck with him for 100 + hours!

2.  LOVE Fsheps voice actress I can feel her pain, her humor I get, I love how she's not afraid to add emphasis and inflection into her words!

Planets, Beacons, and Driving

1. I miss my MAKO I don't miss driving endlessly some planets had so little mining to do I was just driving for nothing If I'm going to drive let there be findings! I don't like the hovercraft its armor sucks one or two shots from a geth and I'm smoking come on!

2. I like finding prothean artifacts I like the beacons I like being but through images lets take it one step further when you find and meld with a beacon you get transported into its information so you get missions to do. Did you get tossed into an alien as they where being taken by prothean scientist? Well sense my minds there put me there have Shepard go through some angst! Have him / her go through the trauma they went through make us care about what happened to those people in the past don't just give me a paper to read let me experience it!

3. Planets please give me more touch down moments I mean I love my ship but sometimes I need to get away from the girl! I like how some missions are helmet on others off I liked the helmet toggle in ME 1 I don't like I either have it or I don't in ME2. Also you have so many planets if you can't get them all land ready by the game at least release DLC with 3 or 4 planets to explore I don't like the 90% unexplorable planets!

4. Have the geth give back the Quarian home world! If you kept Legion and Tali alive and not only aided both but took both's sides in their fight then you should be able to negotiate the planet and also get on it but I don't think anyone beyond Quarians should be able to remove their helmets sense Tali said all plant life has a symbiotic relationship to the Quarians it uses them and all animals on the planet in such a way so they can pollinate this suggest breathing the air would be harmful to all non Quarians if this was to happen and you get her home back let us run around alot of it and make this have impact on Shep / Tali's relationship make them have issues both good and bad.

5. Lets finally go to the Quarian home world, Palvin, and other worlds we've heard so much about and stay and explore and also try to win over their governments.

Romance

1. Bring back the xx scenes! I'm sorry I liked it...yeah I know controversy…in ME2 fade to black doesn't make me feel like I've gotten any type of reward for romancing so and so I liked how in ME1 you showed some but didn't cross the line bring it back.

2. Also I was sad with the loss of my ME1 Luv I mean you try to start a relationship and then they hate you they don't have to turn right around and love you again but give me the chance to try and salvage it! Maybe do several times during the game that you can meet up with prior LIs and try to make amends not just romance them but patch things up.

 3. I don't know if anyone else played Yakuza but the hostess bars where kinda fun you got to just sit, eat, and talk it was nice could something like that be doable with not only prior LI but with like say the dancers and patrons at the bars, clubs, ect? it would add to the game more.

4. I like the idea of LI not always being faithful to you! like Jack may love you but cheats with Chambers or someone and then you have issues with her but say a girl like Tali would never do that so there would be no issu with her and if you want to cheat on them then if you can persuade so and so to cheat with you then you've got an issu with LI1 makes it more realistic.

5. Can I be intimate with my LI more times then just the end? I'd like to have romantic moments with them more and not just in my bedroom I want to feel we are a couple not that they're just a stress reliever!

6. Make a potential LI chase me for once! And not Conrad Verner! I want someone to actually try and persuade me to want them do things for me if that is at all possible it would be different.

Side Quests and Loyalty Missions

 1. for side quest and loyalty missions make them mean something! I don't like landing on a planet breaking up a drug ring with no benefit other then I got to shoot things and later someone pays me! Loyalty missions are great but they can be done in a hour or less and I don't feel like I've done much beyond make so and so happy which is the point but I don't know it doesn't add much to the big picture I suppose maybe do several loyalty type missions for a person through out the game but without forcing the players hand on it.

Character Personalities

1. Both Mshep and Fshep need to be more...human more emotional I want them to experience pain emotionally perhaps physically and not just before a xxx scene with their LI make them break down or have a weak moment they are human let them be it sometimes.

2. Also I talk to all my crew I always ask them about them and they can express themselves. Why can't Shepard if someone asks how are you why do I always have to play the strong solider type? Why can't I honestly answer I'm not well, I'm having a hard time coping with my death,  ect more emotional responses I want to say how I feel more clearly and actually give my problems to a trusted character or two.

3. Give Shepard unique powers if he/ she is a biotic or soldier sense he /she has interacted with the beacon maybe they've learned new things also place hidden beacons that you can access and gain new powers, abilities, or insight into the prothean world.

4. I loved the Mornith mission the danger of being vulnerable to her can you do ones like this more often Shepard having to expose his / herself to danger minus the guns it adds a different flavor to the mix maybe Shepard has to go undercover and be a submissive type, give up control and be controlled in order for the mission to succeed maybe he's / she's the diversion and depending on how well you did you could either die or end up really hurt.

Other Ideas and Plot Suggestions

1. A question when the collectors talk to you are they only in your head? If so can Shepard be like screwed over by the council and say they're crazy and literally lock them in an asylum in some terrible place and you need to not only plan but execute your escape don't make it easy either give them several different times when they can if they take the option escape and once you start you have to either make weapons from items or stealth it all the way out.

2. I think if you break ties with T.I.M that he should hunt you down give us issues with him and maybe even get caught and other squad members have to free you and save you! I think it'd be fun to have say Tali or Garrus lead the team to rescue you for a few missions.

3. Add realism as far as injuries go like at some point Shepard gets injured bandages are needed and you keep these for a few missions before they go away like if your arm was hurt you couldn't use it for several missions if your head got hurt you're vision would be strange or move for a few missions unless you used stimuli to counteract but you only had so many so you had to keep looking form them so if you're injured and battling that you can still function without feeling like the world is going to keep tilting.

4. Make Shepard hackable (more) I loved it new and great! Make it come into play also at the end.

5. I think new characters can only be recruited if you lost characters from ME2 like if I killed Samra during my end mission well now I have an open spot for so and so if all my guys made it out I don't get to recruit but if I was soooo dumb and killed everyone but say two guys then I get a slew of new recruits to go after!

6. Have more betrayals

7. Have more moral issues during game play like the mission where you had to choose which part of the colony to save when a nuke was sent out I liked those Have this come up in a few missions.

8. Can I romance a krogan? Really I wanna know! If I got a breeding request let me die in the process it would be funny!

9. Don't make me have to TRY to murder myself and crew! When I have to make such horrid decisions like I need a hacker to hack this in 1 second and I send Jacob instead of Tali or I need a strong leader here and I send Joker ok if you're going to have people die during you're bad calls make them sensible bad calls like I sent Legion to hack that which he would've done but sense I didn't to A, B, and C and I pissed him off before he left well he died! I don't know if their going to die due to my bad call make it make sense!

10. Don't give me an ending with a good and bad choice that gives me the same ending either way. If I go good give me a good ending if I go bad give me a bad ending If I choose neutral don't make it a bad ending weight prior decisions I've made and those will decide what I get.

Really I'd just be happy with having ME1 Biotics back, squad tactics based upon characters strengths/abilities (gambit system?), characters that react dynamically to situations based upon their character, and no new romance options (seriously by the final showdown Shep's probably has more important things to do) but strengthen the existing ones. Also more Katsumi.

I probably wouldn't, but some people round the world must.

A set default is boring. I practically have a set default for ME2. I can't be bothered to get another ME1 character to level 60 or even do a speed run on ME1, so i just import the same character or start fresh with the default. You should be able to customize your default, except the bonuses for importing a character is a lot greater to stop people doing it on purpose.

----

Mako missions, well if you have the cerberus pack you get the firewalker. When I heard about it I just thought it was a new and improved Mako. But it's not. It's just something you use for 5 missions. Only 5 missions.

I also think you should be able to buy/upgrade ships. In Citadel or Omega (I can't remember which one) there was a Used Ship Salesman. It was like a Volus with its own company. What was the point of it if you couldn't buy a new ship?

Surely, everyone is going to want the Normandy SR3. So if they make a new one or maybe ten, would everyone use others?

Lastly, Fifa 10 has a Face-Recognition kind of mode. You have a picture of you and it tries to match it with you. It clearly can't be that hard to do. Make it GOLD exclusive, i don't care, but the customization realllllllly needs to improve.

Here is what I think is going to happen...

...in Mass Effect 3, realizing Cerberus' devotion and major role in protecting human colonies from the Collector attacks in 2185, the Systems Alliance and Cerberus become one again, however, this causes the Citadel Council to split their ties with the Systems Alliance, and in the end you have to choose between going back to Cerberus and the Alliance and serving Humanity, or becoming a Spectre again in service to the Galaxy. I think Mass Effect 3 should have some kind of choice like that in the final game. I'd personally choose the latter option but that's just me.

Oh, and I'd preferably like all 14 Squad Members back, but not all of them have to be Squad Members, I think most are going to be just Crew Members aboard the Normandy, and some, maybe three or four, are going to be coming back as Squad Members. I'd at least like all the old faces, like Wrex, Liara, and Kai/Ash back as familiar faces aboard the ship, maybe even if Garrus, Tali, Legion, and everyone in Mass Effect 2 that survived aren't back as selectable Squad Members I'd at least like them back on the ship doing stuff and such. Joker will definitely be back. If he isn't heads are gonna be rollin'.

In ME3 this is what I would like to see:

No more recruitement missions:

By this I mean not a new 8 man crew or whatever maybe some new characters but it would be cool if your ME2 crew, now that they know the truth, will decide not to leave you after the 2nd game so you start with them and that you have to go warn the ME1 crew about the Reapers coming and recruit them.

Joker scene:

I would like to see another scene/mission were you play as Joker but this time you have to fly the Normandy in a space battle were its actualy you shooting the enemy ships and stuff.

Quarian & Geth peace:

If you do Legions loyalty mission you destroy the Geth "virus", well now you can find a cure and "heal" the "Heretic" Geth and then there will be peace between the Quarians and the Geth.

Romance:

More people to romance. Ex: Samara, I want to finaly be able to get romance with samara. Also perhaps a real romance with Kelly :P Also a dispute between your ME1 romance and ME2 (unless you stayed loyal of corse)

Galaxy as one:

By this I mean, when the Reapers come, there will be a lot of them. I don't think Shepard and his 8 man squad (or like 16 if you follow my squad idea) would be able to stop an army of Reapers. Sorry, but even Shepard couldn't. So for a solution: have some mission were you have to travel to like Tuchanka and gain the loyalty of the Krogan, and go to the Migrant Fleet and gain the loyalty of the Quarians, same for other races then when the Reapers arrive at the Citadel (or wherever) have the big epic battle. You know, the Reapers arrive and start destroying everyone then the Normandy comes through the Mass Relay followed by an army of Quarian and Geth and stuff. Then when the battle isn't going well, the Reapers are winning, all hope seems lost, BANG! Mass Relay opens, Krogan ships start poring in along with other races and then the battle starts to turn around and big epicness.

You know what I'm saying? God, while I was writing this comment I had the visual of the battle I just describe in my head and I got the chills. haha :P

To help you get the chill, here's a possibilaty of the battle of the Citadel in ME3

Ascension Commander: It's an entire fleet of Reapers!

Turian Commander: Prepare for battle!

Salarian Commander: There's too many of them!

Human Commander: ****, they've boarded the Citadel!

Ascension Commander: We're getting another signal!

Human Commander: It's the Normandy!

Joker: Normandy here. What's your situation?

Turian Commander: We're getting overwhelmed!

Joker: I copy. Normandy to Ilos. We are legion, I repeat, we are legion.

(Relay opens. Geth and quarian ships begin pouring through.)

Admiral Gerrel: This is it, everyone. Focus fire on the Reapers. The geth will coordinate targeting. Keelah se'lai.

Geth: Keelah se'lai.

Captain Bailey: This is C-SEC! We're getting murdered out here! Wait a minute - what's the Relay Monument doing?

(Relay opens. Shepard emerges)

Anderson: Shepard! Thanks for coming.

Shepard: How many hostiles on the Citadel.

Anderson: At least ten million, going by C-SEC's estimates.

Shepard: ****.

Anderson: *puts on armor* We're going to need backup.

Shepard: Got it covered. *hits radio* Ilos Control. Sing the songs of war, I repeat, sing the songs of war.

(Relay opens)

Anderson: What was that?

Shepard: Backup.

(Rachni and krogan start pouring out of the Relay onto the Presidium.)

(Big epic battle for survival)

Oh and also different endings, for example, good ending, neutral ending, bad ending (were alot of people die and stuff) and maybe as I saw someone post and ending were Shepard commits suicide.

You can romance with Samara, it just doesn't give you the achievement. It's not that amazing anyway. You can youtube it.

Ultimate Customization. Wouldn't that just be awesome?

And what the hell is up with the Patterns in ME2? Seriously? A choice of 3?

No one really does the first one do they? That leaves two, the third one is basically just a full colour especially on a black background. And the second one you can't see from the back so it's not that amazing anyway. We should be able to design it ourself maybe on the internet and copy a code onto ME3. That would be awesome.

And i thought we could customize guns? I'd love to weild a yellow Widow and a Purple Locust. Weapons should have a feature where it gains bonuses too.

If they scrap armor customization like weapon damage and melee damage and put that on the gun instead it would make it somewhat easier and better.

I would like armor that you don't have to buy codes for or are strictly promo gigs! I think if you're making armor like the Prothean Armor it shouldn't be used to force people to fork over more cash for the game after all you'll already paying $ 60 for the game after you track down all the codes its more like $80 and if they only make the content available for special game packs you pay $100 that's ridiculous make all special armor DLC at least.

Also I didn't like now that its been mention...you loose all your armor from ME1 I did the bring down the sky mission got kick ass armor and lost it in ME2 its not fair also its not fair for the level 60s out there you only get a few bonus items for uploading an ME1 character? I want my level If I end at level 60 then I start ME3 at 60 with the strength of that level and also bosses and enemies change tactics based off you're level like if I do really well and don't get killed often they get harder if I do really poor and die alot then they get easier. I mean we put so many hours of our lives into playing this game you'd think they could let you keep all the progress you've made.

I still want DLC for new hair and face mods for ME2

I posted this in the characters/classes/builds board but someone noted it would make more sense to put it here, so anyways: In Mass Effect 3, I'd like to see each squadmate have some defining characteristic in combat, more than just what weapons and abilities they can use.

It started the other day when my brother saw me playing Tali's loyalty mission and randomly commented that it seemed unnatural for Tali to be able take hits just as well as the others, when normally Quarian suit ruptures cause an infections and force them to retreat/apply loads of medicine. (He probably noticed Kal'Reegar's dialogue about this or something, he's never played the game even once...more of a Dragon Age guy.)

That got me thinking of some ways to make each squadmate unique in areas besides what skills and weapons they have available. Came up with these ideas for ME2's cast as an example of what could be done for ME3.

Legion: Automatically reconstructs 15 seconds after being downed. However, you can't use Medi-Gel to revive him any faster.

Mordin: Uses powers individually. Each one has its own cooldown, rather than a single use affecting the cooldown for all of them.

Garrus: Carries a bunch of extra ammunition. Move near him to resupply.

Tali: Has a great deal of extra shields, but if they are broken and she is shot again, gets an infection which deals constant damage until downed. Medi-Gel counters the infection.

Thane: Deals extra damage when hitting an enemy from behind.

Jack: Biotic attacks deal significantly more damage when her barrier is down.

Grunt: Constantly regenerates health, even while recieving damage. Unlike shields, if his armor is broken, the fight must end entirely for it to come back.

Samara: Transfers her barrier to you or the other squadmate when either's health drops below 25%. She will not get it back until your shields start to regen.

Miranda: Every shot has a 5% chance of crits for 3x damage.

Jacob: Deals extra damage the closer he is to the enemy.

I couldn't come up with creative things for all of them, but you get the picture. There's room for more variety between your squad members, which would help make the decision of who to bring into battle with you more significant.

Hey guys,

Mass Effect 1 & 2 are by far my favorite games of all time and I can't wait for Mass Effect 3. I just hope they add some bonus features for the diehard fans!

For instance I would love to see an "Extras menu" where all the amazing cut scenes can be viewed once a player has finished the game. Also in this "extras menu" I'd love to see some art galleries of the concept art or something mindblowing. Because honestly Bioware spends so much time on detail and perfection and I would love to go back and enjoy their hard work!! One more thing I would like to add would be the option to replay individual missions directly from a "mission replay menu" again- something that would be unlocked once the player has completed a playthrough.

Just some thoughts- you guys obviously know what you're doing but I'd love to give some feedback! let me know what you guys think!!!

Mass Effect FTW!

A whole lot more rifles and pistols, and lay off the heavy weapons. That's one thing I didn't like in ME2, how the heavy weapons were pushed on you so much.

Oh, and more species of fish to buy.
