This suggestion is purely for aesthetic purposes (not sure if this has been mentioned, too many pages to sift through):
-Include female animations (like walk/run cycles, body language, ect). In the cutscenes there aren't any problems, but in-game. there are plenty. Personally, the lack of female gestures in ME2 was really distracting. For a second playthrough, I tried using a female Shepard, but unfortunately, I couldn't hang. I kept thinking, "My chick has a d*ck."
I realize creating a game as large as ME3 is a huge undertaking, and that this request would end up being pretty far down the bottom of the list when it comes to addition/improvements, but, please Bioware, think about this one. I think it would add a nice, extra layer of detail in what I am sure is going to be a great game.
I could not agree with that more, Bioware should definitly look into this.

him in ME3?
Also I support ideas about combined (ME1+ME2) weapon system and bringing back modular upgrades.

I would like Shepard and the ME1 LI to be squadmates again.
I want there to be the possibility of a happy conclusion to the romance with the ME1 LI--not that it always has to happen. But I really don't want there to only be a tragic outcome--where either Shepard or (in my case) Kaidan are together but then one dies to save the universe in the end. I would at least like it possible for them to live happily ever after.
Having multiple ending outcome possibilities like in Dragon Age would be fine.
I would like the Kaidan and Ashley romance storylines to be at least somewhat individualized as opposed to how they were pretty much interchangeable in ME2 (understandable for their role in ME2).

bring back sex scenes
Definitely. It would be great to have a nice romantic scene at least on par with ME1 or Dragon Age. The ME2 romance conclusions were rather blah (from watching on You Tube--my Sheps belong to Kaidan). The ability to sneak in a little kiss or something with your LI like with Alistair/Morrigan in DA would be nice.

I would suggest doing this in the form of personal customization of each weapon as well as upgrades. Allowing players to change the look of the weapon as well as adjusting core aspects in favor of their personal preferences according to what they want out of the weapon. These core adjustments would be things that could be altered any time, even in the beginning with a few special Upgrades only being available through playing the game.
The adjustments might include a longer barrel which raises range and damage of the weapon at the cost of a slower rate of fire due to having to adjust after shots. Or perhaps a recoil system on the end? Or a shorter barrel creating a lower accuracy/shorter range but dropping "heat generation". Several aspects could be modified, from barrel to stock, to ammo type and honestly I would like to see special Ammo types returned to the game as ammo types and not powers all their own.
In addition larger clip sizes/raw power and other cool full blown upgrades are simple flat out bonuses. Meaning that Adjustments are tweaks which add a bonus to one aspect of the weapon while adding a minus to another where as upgrades are, of course, raw upgrades which offer no minus.
Cybernetics:
Come on, what sci-fi game is complete without Cybernetics. Making actual implants for variou limbs would be great. You could have various body sections that can be modified. Head, Arms, Torso, Legs... That would be four different sections which you could hook up with things such as Increased Strength or Speed for legs or implants that let you jump really high or land from higher levels. For the head you could have Implants that enhance Specific Biotics or biotic types or Tech crap or even combat implants which might replace Adrenaline Boost all together or increase the damage of shots to certain body parts. The arms could produce added strength for combat or recoil systems for firearms, enhancements to shields and even advanced hacking gear. The Torso could have virtually any kind of bonus depending on what part it effects.
More involved Melee Combat:
Smacking a dude with the butt of your gun is boring. How about actual combat techniques, such as sneaking behind and slitting your enemies throat? Or ripping your enemies weapon out of their hands? More close combat techniques that really make it a lot more fun.
More Involved Combat:
Soldiers and Vanguards especially, I feel.
First of all... As cool as the different Ammo Types are... I don't like the idea of something like Ammo being a power someone has.I much prefer the idea that anyone can use any ammo type so long as they have access to it.
Soldiers are masters of combat... So you might think of having Combat Mastery as their core ability with any manner of other abilities such as Demolition, Heavy Weapons Specialization, Sniping, Close Combat, even Stealth could all be abilities a Soldier has access to. With Combat Mastery enhancing overall damage of all types and
Vanguards are close combat fighters, so keeping the ability to charge is an awesome idea. But also awesome abilities such as Close Combat Maneuvers, Assault Weapons Training, and the Toughness of a Soldier coupled with enhanced Biotics which might enhance the Vanguards hand to hand combat or create a warp field around them allowing them to block or even reflect certain types of enemies. There is all manner of possibilities here! The Vanguard should be a little tougher than the Soldier in Close Combat, with the Soldier being able to fight in all ranges equally well.
But yes I do feel that the game could have a lot of fun with more close combat!

I think if you rejoin Alliance then Cerberus comes after you! TIM wants his investment back! Even though he says you could walk away I really do not believe this from a man like him he give the illusion of you being in control why not give you the illusion of freedom too? If he can't control you he eliminates you thats how I perceive a man like TIM to be. if all of Cerberus is gunning for you even the ship could be sabotaged at points and random space, port, and planet battles would insue too! Plus uber para for Alliance
I say if you choose Cerberus you get to go pirate too sense only so much creds are coming in you need to steal more from bodies and assault passing ships it'd add for more replay but if you're Alliance you have to save ships from Reaper small ships and pirates.

Plus it would be cool if the mystery beings of light at Klencory are revealed, and perhaps used as allies against the reapers (however I wouldn't want them turned into some kind of deus ex machina either!). As for the Leviathan of Dis, I believe that was merely a Farscape reference.
As for new squadmates, I want Batarian, Vorcha and Mech squaddies! :] (Elcor, Hanar and Volus don't have suitable physiologies for fast paced firefights).

Sure, they can tie it directly into Paragon/Renegade as it currently is if they want... but they can do that while still having it fill up a separate pair of bars that, unlike Paragon/Renegade, actually carry over.

I TOTALLY AGREE. FEMSHEP IN ME1 WAS HOT AND SEXY. IT WAS SUCH A PLEASURE WATCHING HER RUN WHILE CARRYING THE WEAPONS AND AIMING WITH THE PISTOL (PLAYED AS VANGUARD). SHE WAS GRACEOUS, LIGHT... IN ME2 SHE LOST HER CHARMS SOMEWHAT (FELT MORE MANLY). I'D LOVE TO SEE HER SEXYNESS BACK AGAIN ON ME3.

I think the Earth getting destroyed in the begining of the game would be awesome.
nah if earth got destroyed the human race would soon become extinct plus the reapers want to enslave the human race
and wiping earth out would seriously screw their plans up plus there wouldnt be anyone to then fight the reapers as the rest of the galaxy refuse to believe they even exist.

And if they are your original LI I want alot of groveling. Yes Shepard can be the bigger person understand the other person's point of view. Just sometimes I wish Shepard would decide to be a bit vindictive. I wouldn't mind a few fights over Shepard. You can either sit back, watch and eat popcord or jump in and beat both idiots over the head with a stick.

No major gripes about the game play, keep the mako out of it, load screens are long but I can live with them if that leads to rich environments and gameplay.
Mining is a bit annoying - maybe make the probes gather more than 1000-3000units ... increase by a scale of 5-10...I can understand how it can add to the game play.. you learn how to make improvements but need resources - but this doesn't need to take ages.
Small gripe with armour - make helmets optional (ie. on special gear like the collectors edition)
Cut scenes - wouldn't mind seening some epic ones near the climax of ME3 5-10 min long (If you want to add in choices within the 5-10 min that's fine, but strong cut scenes can sometimes really add to the experience).
