There are plenty of Tali fans requesting that, hopefully Bioware listenSHmoking wrote...
I wish to see Tali's face... or is that possible in ME2.
On that point, I think i'll make a new sig.

Yep more shops and varied I know we're there to get mainly weapons and armor but what about food, videos you can actually watch, mini games like space invaders just way better graphics, music, and casual clothing where maybe you can try it before you buy it from the shop.

-should have at least 3 diferent vehicles, with at least 2 kinds of guns, like in ME1. Every vehicle should have his own kinds of guns between others diferences.
-should have upgrades for the vehicles and for the guns, making it more like a RPG.
-should have more dynamism. The biggest problem of the vehicle missions is the enemies: They are static. Should have another vehicles to fight against, making possible chases and maneuvers. Against static enemies, you only need to cover from a save distance and shut, you don't need to expose yourself. If the enemies are fast as you, you need to run, to get exposed, be faster, shut faster. There's a lack of adrenaline in the vehicles missions on ME.
-the range of the gun on the Hammerhead is to high. You can kill a enemies without he even see you. This take out all the fun of the mission. The hammerhead is to superior compared to the enemies..
well, that's it =)

-The style used on the suicide mission should be amplified. One of the most weirdest thing on Me is that we make a team with 12 members but use only 2 of them. We don't need to control everyone at the same time (would be ridiculous), but make teams, like the suicide mission. You have members with lidership skills that can control another team. Sometimes, you will have the chance to give directions to this team, that will keep contact in radio. He can ask things, and you can stop action and answer. In this case, the other team is assaulting in other place, but could have cases where the other team is in the same room as you (a big one), so you can give more direct orders, like retreat, go futher, hold position, give me cover or flank the enemy.
So, ME3 should have missions with a solo team (like ME1 and 2), with other teams attacking a diferent place (like suicide mission) and with other teams attacking in the same place as you are.

2. More armour options AND reprecussions. This should be obvious, but all of the armour upgrades felt irrelevant, and, well, a lot just didn't look that good. I'd say imo, but I just cannot understand anybody liking some of the armour options in ME2. DLC 'suits' with non-removable helmets are weak supplements, especially if you want to see your PC actually talk.
3. A tie-in into #1: Perhaps adapt a Ninja Gaiden type system, where weapons, if upgraded, gain levels, up to a max, changing visually as well as stats-wise? Saves you time designing a brand new weapon by giving the old one new life, as well as giving the player the illusion of vast choice on how (s)he chooses to spend upgrade points. I'd personally recommend having 2-3 popular weapons with quite a few upgrade levels, 4+, and the rest 2-3.
4. Drop the heavy weapons please, this might be quite subjective, but they were irritating, most fights were relatively close-quarters and quite fast and viceral, the antithesis of a situation where most heavy weapons could be used effectively.
-The weapon and armour are the only two relatively major gripes I've had with ME2, the gameplay mechanics are quite polished, and I am not qualified to tell you where I would personally go in terms of introducing new gameplay elements.
EDIT: I actually have one more point of concern I wish to address; SPECTRE status & Citadel/Multi-race politics.
It was a major gripe for me when in ME2 your spectre status bore no real significance (with the unnotable exception of playing rank with some NPCs), as in the first game, a unique dynamic was presented, what with xenophobia against humans in the galaxy, and you felt as though you could directly affect that in a real sense by being a figurehead/posterboy for humanity. ME2 made you feel irrelevant in comparison, grounding you in a purely human organization, with pro-human interests, dismissing all of the political tension of balancing the interests of the citadel races and the alliance brass, who themselves shared an affinity for xenophobia. A game's pleasure is derived from overcoming obstacles; this is one that's arguably as important as a reaper invasion, and therefore, almost as enjoyable to overcome.

I didn't like the thermal clips in ME2. I found I kept running out of them, either that or when we get back to the ship they are refreshed back to maximum or allow us to make them with some of the minerals we find.
The armour ? was a bit rubbish. Had one main style all the way through if it was not for DLC then you was stuck with a standard look. Much prefer the old ME1 style of loot. Same goes with the guns.
In ME3 shepard cant die again and get resurrected so as to loose his/her skills and levels. So how are you going to do this ? Clone maybe ? Seems a bit odd for this top special ops soldier that keeps getting serious memory loss.
Allow us to roam more on the Citadel.
What about all those worlds that we could scan but never land on ? Once you have upgraded the ship and weapons / armour there was no point to scanning anymore.
Heavy weapons in ME2 are pointless. Either a one shot item per game or a random effect is no fun. Would much rather have a more effective assault riffle or pistol. Or even a power sword for close combat.

In the Star Wars game Republic Trooper if your main character got knocked out (died) and if a team member was still alive then they would drag you to cover and administer bacta to help you recover. This could be done in ME3 with medi gel.
This would be great. Not only with the main character, but the team members. To bring a team member back, you have to go where he is, drag to cover and administer medi gel.. It's more realistic and more challenging

Yeah in game armor was ok but there where some cool armors only available through pre order, and codes just include them in the game and if BW wants to give out more armor parts roll them into dlc content instead of making them stand alones.
Kill the Thermal Clips the where a step backwards not forwards
Yeah as Relshar pointed out no more memory loss for abilities and relationships especially all me1 people when we start 3 lets start w/ all are strengths and abilities just add onto them give us more biotics, carnage for soldiers, ect but get rid of special ammo as upgrade powerups just make them standard I didn't like how little level tree there was to 2 I was actually happy w/ 1s skill tree maybe 8 abilities.
Make the shot gun worth something it can't kill anything in 2 I loved its strength in 1 bring it back
To answer: shinobi602 EDI has reaper tech in her she says so. So its assumed you would too after all Cerberus made you both so it's only natural they would include this inside you as well considering Miranda said they put every bit of tech they could into bringing you back both organic and cyber Nezara or Sovereign was cyber she was a machine.
I do agree play up both Sheps new found weakness and also play up those reaper techs!

and more interaction between members of the crew not just when shepard is around like have tali and liara sitting having something to eat chatting away or eating in the mess or having a drink could also be a good way to learn more about them and there past

Real beards.
I have my reasoning on why this would work for the story. Will likely post it in another thread later.
But in general, more customization in appearance.

The thermal clips are the best thing ever.
weapon overheating in ME 1 suck >:}
I completely agree. Running out of thermal clips has never been a prominent problem for me. I would much rather keep them than revert back to the overheating mechanic in the first Mass Effect.
First I just want to say that Mass Effect 1 & 2 are by far my favorite games and I want to thank you Bioware for creating these digital masterpieces. However, with that being said there are several things that I hope to see changed in the Mass Effect 3.
Things I would like to see:
- Larger amount of custom armor pieces and guns
- Get rid of tedious and repetetive planet scanning
- It would be nice to have a more organized upgrade terminal
- Longer sidequests
- Missions branch out further (Ex. more dialogue options, choices, and alternate outcomes)
- More dialogue from squadmates
-Take things such as weapon and armor upgrades from obscure locations and make them available at terminals or shops
Thats all I've got for right now.

As for larger areas while I would love to have the old Citidel, do you guys remember how terrible the textures were and how slowly they loaded in ME1? Now do you know great the textures are in ME2 are and how they load instantly, and how the game is on 2 freaking discs. Now imagine how many discs a ME3 would be with the scope and size u guys want. The best thing about ME2 is the pacing and if you fill the pacing with ridiculous Elevators rides, idiotic Mako drop missions, (if you have a state of the art Starship why does it drop you off miles from the actual mission,) and non mission zones that take so long to traverse you get forget where you are going before you actually reach your destination. And last the inventory system. The Game or franchise is about telling the Epic Tale of Sheppard not pigeon holing the game into the same RPG tropes of the past 30 years I dont want to go into my inventory after every battle to turn my items into Omni-gel. I think the Shadow Broker is proof that the Bioware has learned the some of the more important lessons to be learned, I trust them implicitly,

- Possibly my biggest wish. Deeper and longer romances. I was very disappointed with what we got from importing from ME1. LOTSB made up for it if romanced Liara, but what about us that romanced Ashley/Kaidan? I have multiple saves with Ashley and Liara as LI. I hope Ashley/Kaidan get DLC much like Liara just did. I don't want a few minutes of conversations then a love scene. I want more interaction with them, not necessary sex sex sex, though I wouldn't have a problem with that. Maybe being noticed as a couple by squad members and other NPCs. Or share Shepard cabin. Also maybe squad members find someone special. If the Reapers are coming, Shepard shouldn't be the only one having fun
- Deeper customization. Everything from armour, the ship, squad's attire, normal attire, weapons. There is so much more to do here.
- More weapons and armour. Are you telling me that in the entire Mass Effect universe there are just a few assault rifles, shotguns, pistols, SMG, sniper rifles, and heavys? There has got to be more around or something.
- Bring back grenades. Have several enemies bunched up? Grenade them!
- New powers. Adept is by far my favorite class. New biotic powers would be nice to have.
- Toggle helmet on/off. This has been said a million times. Maybe having a option to automatically turn it off during cutscenes.
- More interaction with NPCs such as non-squad member aboard the ship. Have NPCs more around and not standing around in one place.
- Homeworlds. So far only Tuchanka is the only homeworld we have been able to visit. Of course Earth is a must, but also Thessia (asari), Palaven (turian), and Rannoch (quarian then geth) are all possible.
- Citadel. In the first game it was large and fun to explore. In 2 its small and boring. Make it big again.
- More Spectres. And ones that are friendly to you and live longer.
- Choices have meaning. I think BioWare didn't make choices from ME to ME2 matter too much so they can matter in ME3.
- Meet more NPCs. Such as Admiral Hackett or Shepard's mom if spacer background was used. Along with ones we haven't seen since ME1. Like giving Emily Wong an interview.
- During some missions having more than just you and 2 squad members at a time. Or even cutscenes with several of us together at once.
- Teasing between teammates and yourself.
- Better boss fights. LOTSB made a great step forward in this, now make a great leap forward.
- Enemies change their attacks based on your class. For example if your a Vanguard, enemies move around and quickly.
- NPCs notice what class you are. If an Adept, maybe they comment on how powerful your biotics are, or if an infiltrator they comment how deadly you are from distance.
- Emotional stories/missions. Tough choices to make.
- If done right, space combat.
- [/b]ME1 NG+ Like starting with sniper rifle training for an adept. Though this may make you overpowered.
- Bring back the same people that have done the soundtrack for both games. They are great.
I can't think of anything else. Some of these I consider to be major wishes while others are minor and wouldn't be too upset if they didn't make it in the game. Thank you BioWare for all your hard work so far and to come.

The best way would be the conflicting LIs though. The solution shouldn't be a simple "I like her over you" or "I hate both of you" and then they give up for good. It would be interesting if you had options to gently break up, be undecided so the LIs would try to prove themselves to you or you could even push them to hate and even fight you later on

Although I think you mean Republic Commando, absolutely this. It's still the only team based game I can play and actually feel like I'm a part of a team. In games like ME and Gears of War teammates inability to revive me seriously cripples both the athmosphere and my choices to focus on close range combat

1-More interaction between teammates, in and out of missions(while in missions, trying to strategize on their own, like flanking or combining powers)
2-More weapon variety (for example, more than 2 heavy pistols as choices, since this is an RPG...) and viewable stats (strenght, accuracy, etc)
3-More armor part designs
4-More galaxy important missions, like helping the quarians getting their planet back from the geth
5-Possibility of having more than our team in a mission, where we would choose between going to the "left or right" path, and the other team would go for the other, making battles more large-scaled
6-More mid-term options in dialogue, instead of just being an angel, a devil or indiferent
7-Having Liara as shadow broker, having choices between trying to resolve a dispute in some planet or leave it alone, or making one side win, and that kind of stuff, and our decision making having consequences in the future
8-Increase city's size, mainly the Citadel
9-New Powers, specially biotic powers against shields and armor
10-Customizing and upgrading both weapons and armor, true RPG style
11-In the face customization, allowing to change the default face of sheppard (like adding facial hair to him, making him look older). Also having more hair and facial hair possibilities
12-Better alternative to mineral scanning
13-Possibility of making a "rogue group" of people who works for us, like an association, that we could send to resolve "little stuff" (adding to point 7)
14-Bigger Importance in the saving Kaidan or Ashley decision, if a DLC doesn't come out for it
15-Loyalty system like in dragon age, where our teammates may approve or disapprove of our decisions (doesn't make sense to me that jack and grunt would side with me if i always act paragon, not killing and looking for a diplomatic way out
16-InterPlanet travel being through menu, instead of manually controlling the ship planet to planet(didnt like the probes and fuel stuff)
17-New non-humanoid races, and development of more discrete races, like Hanar and Drell
18-Taking bigger decisions, like helping the krogan or the Salarian with the Genophage, or Tali getting the quarian planet back or Legion and the Geth defending it(this would affect their loyalty, off course)(adding to point
4)
19-Having the option to change mouse sensitivity(in my case, since i only play in the PC)
20-Having a place to earn extra money, instead of having money just right for the stuff you can buy, and only if they have discounts (specially considering that some discounts are only earned if you choose Paragon and other Renegade)
21-Destructible cover, like in Mafia II
22-Correction of Bugs while in cover, like this one:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TgTz1BZOMcs. Also having our head outside of low cover, making for easy headshots even hidden. Also having dead foes in midair for no reason.
23-Shots in limbs difference, like it already does for mechs. For instance, a shot in the leg and they run for cover jumping in one leg, or just dragging that leg; a shot in the stomach and they curl up for a sec, a shot in the shoulder or arm and they become unable to shoot for a couple seconds
24-Possibility oof blind fire with rifles and SMG(maybe heavy pistol as well)
25-The sidemission to recover a cerberus operative, where we choose to send the information retrieved to cerberus, alliance or keep it for ourselfes to have an effect in something cerberus related(like technology and stuff that will only appear if you sent it to cerberus
26-Reinsertion of grenades
27-Changing the way shepard runs in the normandy after sprinting, he looks like he's trying to look discretely to his left, always...
28-More(or other) suits to wear in the normandy
29-Make opponents work as a team, spreading and flanking, and using more than one weapon(like i said for allys at point 1)
30-Make more opponents have powers, instead of just one vanguard or one engineer every 5 missions
31-Make some side missions in really hostile environments, like freezing cold or incredibly hot(like in the tali recruitment mission)
32-Allow us to visit Earth(this one must be unanimous...)
33-The fact that we were(or not) reinstated as spectres to have an influence in our freedom to travel
34-Leveling the skills of the other charaters in a part of the ship, instead of only being able to do it when we select them for a landing
35-Give some role to the Keepers, and let us know what are they, exactly
36-possibility to choose between fighting for cerberus, alliance or ourselfes(making the other our enemys, or starting a fight between them). This could be only in some missions, or even a game changing decision (i think i'm asking way too much here, but it would be awesome)
37-Let us see some changes in Tuchanka with Wrex as leader or the other krogan(if we killed in the first game)
38-Being able to see the quarins without their suits and masks
39-Bigger influence of the choice between Udina or Anderson in the council, and also more influence of the council itself in the game
