1) Epic Ending and many choices, let the players weave their own story of their Shepards, also hard decisions such as Virmire. Also the DLC in ME2 must be applied on ME3, such as Overlord, Zaeed and Kasumi. Don't put the money to buy the DLC to waste. More Complex Storyline especially it would be the end. Plotholes? NO. And also to the novels and comics that expanded the ME world, ME3 is the end of Commander Shepard, unless we could have reference on them, especially on Retribution since TIM stepped in and also a character that could equal Shepard.

2) Please NO emails on ME3 just only to learn the consequences the actions we made on ME1 and ME2. Please let it put into action to see the changes.

3) Depends if you like the ME1 overheating or ME2 thermal clip, honestly I am in the middle of playing ME1 because I first played ME2, I learned ME when my dad bought video card that features ME2. If they choose the ME1, that's fine. But in ME2, I want the enemies to be more challenging.

4) Tougher enemies and bosses but not impossible to defeat them. When I played the Lair of the Shadow Broker I found it challenging as well as very good. More difficult than the last mission on ME2.

5) About Combat, Biotic and Tech Skills . . . I hope you will add new skills and powers. Especially Biotics.

6) class Differences. Please no Assault Rifle if the class you choose can't use Assault Rifle. I don't care if ME3 is big but I want to feel difference when I play different classes. Just look at the Awakening Ending and try to watch the 3 classes and their ways to kill the final boss. And same to MaleShep and FemShep, I observed to the Lair of the Shadow Broker that Bioware followed the wish of the fans about the copy-paste posture of FemShep that she act like MaleShep.

7) More dialogues. I always feel incomplete when they had lack of dialogue. Romance in ME2 was quite fast too. In DAO they are good on writing banters why not in ME? And I want to feel close with my squadmates, to know more about them, not just CALIBRATIONS CALIBRATIONS.

8) More armor and weapons please? For me I preferred ME2 system.

9) More facial customization (don't tell me I would be killed again in order to do that), Bioware will find a way whether they will do that . . .

10) RPG or shooter, I don't care . . . I always have grey alignment on anything. But still I preferred ME2, simple but the best.

11) I heard some that Shepard has no development after all, and that it seems that he/she doesn't cares of what happened about his/her past. Such as Cerberus on LotSB, I was truly pissed off especially my MaleShep was a Sole Survivor and FemShep really hates Cerberus. I need Shepard to express what they truly feel, give us the choice. They say that there is no canon Shep and we are the ones who make Shep's story? We are attached to him/her so give us the choice. I am really happy during the end of LotSB, when Shep talked to Liara.

Overall, seems LotSB was showing signs of improvement and has a chance of ME3's success.

I doubt this will get much attention waaayy down here in the 200s pages, but well...

Get sqaudmates earlyer in the game. ME1 you had your whole team, cept one and she came soon if you went to her, early on. Not only did you get your team early on, but they reacted to eachother becouse the game was made assumeing that everyone would be there at the points you were at.

In ME2, the whole game is getting sqaudmates pretty much. The only life or opinions they have about a mission is their own recruitment or loyalty mission pretty much, and it is unheard of that they speak to any other member cept Jacob or Miranda, since they game hands those two to you and they are garonteed to be pressent.

Im aware there are a few little snipets here and there, but I mean ME1 elevator kinda talking, the only time that happens in ME2 is Miranda/Jack and Legion/Tali argument.

Were is Samara talking to Garrus saying,

SAMARA: Sidonis has betrayed you and his commrads in arms, justice must be carried out for this crime.
This is one of the reasons Justicars work alone.

or Mordin saying,

MORDIN: If I had been betrayed by Sidonis like that, hmmm.., not sure what I would do? Probably kill him. But I was not there so I do not know all the posible factors.

I dont write for these characters, and I know its a challenge to make deep party banter that adds to the game meaningfuly, but it was great in ME1.

This banter is not just filler, its exposure to our favorite characters. When it takes so long to get our group together, and they are lifeless in thought and opinion then we get less of what many of us come back for, the characters we love.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Nyz6FO_BZA&feature=related
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IKtZB0I3Ahg

ME1 characters were involved in missions that ment something to them, but everyone had opinions
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AN8k0iN0Mow&feature=related

Heres the thing, I didnt care for elevators much, but these conversations could have taken place in any number of ways, and they do provide insight into our favorite characers and about the Mass Effect galaxy we go tromping through.

Another thing I want back is ARMOR for my sqaudmates besides Shepard. I like the casual/combat apearance for Shepard and would like it for others as well, but am I suposed to belive that Mordin, Samara, and Zaeed can expose bare skin to the ravages of space and its just fine?

Really, why does Jack have shields, I mean shes wearing pants and a funky bra........ do you not need armor for shields, is Jacks bra her shield generator:o? WTF? It is cool that my armor peices each individualy do something, but aparently haveing shields and armor does not make Shepard more bullet resistant than Jack, Mordin,.......or that (while sexy) skin tight cleaveg showing thing Miranda is wearing, which if she took a hit from a mass accelerator weapon with her shields down may not penetrate but will still impact like a truck doing lots of damage.

Weres my armored sqaud. I feel like some of my team isnt taking this sirious.

And why cant I atleast have higher rez color scemes for the ME1 characters alternate armor colors, that wouldnt be unresonable, and there is no reson I should have to pay for it as an over priced DLC, yes, those alternate appearance packs were over priced.

But this isnt about DLC, this is about ARMOR.

One more thing, no more super characters. I keep hearing how AWESOMESAUCE Shepard is, but then you have Thane Krios come in and make me feel like "Hey, why isnt that guy my character, his cut scene kung-fu is WAY better than mine."

Thane is  cool, I like him, but sniper rifles, biotics, and one of the better character specific powers, combined with his cut scene kung-fu it was a little over the top. Sortta had a "Why am I here again?" feeling, sorta like when Jack smashes 2 YMIR mechs no prob in a cut scene, I feel like my powers dont mater, or are not as cool, as the people  I am suposed to lead.

SO in summery:

MORE CHARACTER CONVERSATION
ARMOR FOR MY SQAUD
NO MORE SUPER CHARACTER / SUPER CUT-SCENE KUNG-FU UNLESS SHEPARD GETS SOME TOO

2 simple things that I would like to see incorporated into ME3.

1.  The abiltiy to go from cover to cover without having to break cover.

2.  The abilty to order my squad to hold position.  How many times have I yelled at Grunt and Garrus for breaking cover!  Enemies occassionally attack in waves; and after every wave, squadmates break cover and return to Shepard; meaning that Shepard has to sometimes break his own cover in order to get his squad back in a favorable position.  On Insanity difficulty; this has caused my death more than once.

I hope Bioware will bring back the "galactic mood" present in the first Mass Effect. You could feel everywhere you were in an "open field", in the universe.

In ME2 the "galactic mood" has changed into a "claustrophobic, degraded mood".

Ok I know: you have to recruit criminals and people living in the gutter of the universe and this is the "excuse" of the "dark mood" but I repeat: I hope we'll have back the "first ME mood" in Mass Effect 3.

EDIT: Oh yeah, I want Liara back as teammate ò.ò

i want nothing more from the mass effect universe. I was so greatly dissappointed in me2( my opinion - bugger off, i'm entitled :D)  that i will not be playing the third installment regardless of any "improvements" are made.

How were you disappointed in me2? Not angry with your opinion, I'm just curious because me1 was a disappointment to me, but me2 exceeded my expectations.

I didn't like the rpg aspect - or lack of it - if i wanted a straight shooter i'd play cod or halo

might just be me but it seemed that powers weren't as potent this time around, i enjoyed watching the enemy floating all over the place in me1, kinda missed it in me2

the characters weren't as engaging this time around - in me1 i actually had to stop & think if i was putting my crew in danger, in me2 by the end i didn't care about the crew nearly as much

and for some reason in me2 the crew didn't really seem to listen to me, i tell them to stay there so they don;t get shot and 2 secs later they're charging the enemy straight on(very annoying)

and the overall story just didn't grab me like the first, from the beginning all the way to the end it just seemed half-assed and tacked on to me

the one thing i did like was legion, every sci-fi series needs the obligatory 'bot on the team;)

I agree with that. Even though I really thought Mass Effect 2's atmosphere was perfect, there was indeed a departure from the ME1 feel on many levels.

However it was not gone entirely, look at Illium...it really had an ME1 feel to it. The LOTSB content added to that.

One big one I can think of is the ability to be Renegade without necessarily being a total ass. For example, there is a small mini-quest in ME 2 where you (trying to keep it fairly spoiler-free) can help out a quarian. The Renegade-unock option in this case is to encourage the offender to keep it up, rather than something that more forcefully gets your point across that they should stop. Why not choose your stance on it, then use the Renegade/Paragon score to get that outcome or emphasize it as is the case in most quests?

That being said, I would like to still be able to get an ok outcome without having a massively high score in one direction or the other, because then it becomes kind of a grind to get morality points and you factor in "how many Renegade points will this net me" more than "what do I really want to say".

Also. What was wrong with the ME1 Health/Shields/Position box and radar? Everytime I play ME2 it's just too difficult to tell where my teammates are and how badly hurt they are

One of my wishes for ME3 is a change to the reload system as everyone has already praised or torn apart. I initially thought the heat sinks were going to be just a quick-cool kind of thing that you had to time correctly in order to be able to kick it out properly and keep firing - kind of like Gears of War's active reload system.

I think they can still bring back the upgrades for fire rate, overheat, etc., but then you also have this unlimited supply of thermal clips that you can eject from the weapon if your upgrades aren't enough or whatever so long as you correctly double tap 'X' or reload or something along those lines.

Considering the way the Codex stresses that there are now thermal clips everywhere on the battlefield, it makes sense to have unlimited amounts of them from the start, too.

Yes, Illium was wonderful but it was too small and also with LOTSB DLC the exploration was minimal...I love going everywhere and be a "part" of a living universe. I love also talking with NPC and listen my teammates talking each other like in the citadel elevator in ME 1 or like when Garrus and Thali talk in the CItadel in ME2 about Thali's immune defence system XD, that discussion was really funny :D

The features I would love to see show up in Mass Effect 3 are:

- The ability to choose a squad from all of the surviving cast from ME1 and ME2.

Instead of adding an entire new cast yet again (which is however, very enjoyable), I would love to see  very minimal new squadmate additions. I would much rather see all of the existing characters grow and expand even more. Personally, I preferred the cast in ME1 to the cast in ME2 and would love to have the ability to get my favorite squad of Ashley and Wrex back together again.

- Bring back the elevators.

The ability in ME1 to go from the Normandy to the Council chamber, to C-Sec, and back to the Normandy all without see a visible loading screen did more for the immersion of the player than anything in ME2 (IMO). When people complained about the numerous elevator rides in ME1, I don't think it was because they disliked the elevators themselves, but that they disliked the numerous loading screens. If the loading screens are still going to be a part of the game (like they were in ME2), then I would MUCH rather have a seemless experience with elevators than too be yanked out of the action to see a loading screen every level.

- Bring back the Mako and planet exploration.

Although it could definitely be bland and tedious at times, the Mako went a long way to making the ME universe feel large, open, and ready to be explored. I loved the variation in the sidequests in ME2, but just having them as corridors/shooting galleries and taking away the transit in the Mako to the destination made the universe feel less immersive to me. An ideal blend of unique missions/level structures of ME2 and the open world Mako exploration of ME1 would be perfect IMO.

- Bring back the RPG elements, weapon overheat, and omni gel healing from ME1.

I loved ME2 as an experience, but really only felt as though the visuals, framerate, and the responsiveness of the controls were the only improvements over ME1. Yes ME1 had a cluttered inventory. Yes, the talent points may have been cluttered when using a different squadmate late in the game but as far as I am concerned, ME1 did SO MUCH right when compared with what it did wrong. One of the big reasons I have replayed ME1 8-9 times and ME2 only 1.5 is because the large array of talent points I can customize, the vast array of weapons and armor (I spent so much time trying to get Colossus V for my soldier), and the great, tense feeling combat gave.

- Bring back the ME1 galaxy map

I'm not sure about anyone else, but I felt as though controlling the Normandy was one of the most redundant features in the game. I never let my ship get below 50% fuel, but I was always backtracking to a fueling station and felt as though my drive for exploration was actually stiffled because of this. Instead of exploring an entire system in one fell swoop, I would check out a few planets and then say "Well, I don't want to be stranded out here. Time to go fill up again." and skip some of the outer planets. The map from ME1 was so much simpler IMO. Check out the planets and go to your destination. Simple as that.

Overall:
- The ability to choose a squad from all of the surviving cast from ME1 and ME2.
- Bring back the elevators.
- Bring back the Mako and planet exploration.
- Bring back the RPG elements, weapon overheat, and omni gel healing from ME1.
- Bring back the ME1 galaxy map

- Make the Missions and Assignments longer. As in more use for the Hammerhead, like the Overlord DLC.
- Give the Missions and Assignments more meaning and consequences, like Origins.
- Bring back the elevators, for at least the Normandy. It doesn't feel right having loading screens on the Normandy.
- More invovlement from past characters like Anderson, Undina, Wrex, Liara, Ashley or Kaiden, ect.
- Expand the Citadel back to it's own size, with Omega and Tuchanka.

I would love to see a load of different endings in the game. All of which take into account things that happened over the previous two games. So anyway, here are the endings i'd like to see:

-Shepard and LI get married or whatever the LI race does for their version of marriage. Obviously it would involve making different weddings scenes for each love interest but I think it would be a great way to cap off the trilogy. Maybe have Shepard pick a best man from the squad/Joker/Anderson. Then just have a mini little ceremony. To finish you could even have a little picture of the future showing Shepard, his LI and a ton of lil baby Shepards lol. As you can tell from the sig, if only one wedding is to be done, make it Liara lol.

-Shakespearean tragedy please. A choice for Shepard to choose either between himself or their LI to die. Shepard can sacrifice theirself so that their LI might live on. As a result of a decision like this in game you could end with a funeral for Shepard or their LI. If Shepard, you could have everyone who he has helped through all three games standing in a line as his coffin is moved. That would be another great ending. Maybe then once the coffin reaches its destination everyone could convene infront of a large monitor to see a video of Shepard. Whether it is interactive or even if you get to record it before hand, I think that would be pretty special.

-Shepard joining the Reapers somehow. Not sure how it would work, but have him become like Saren. Oh yes...that would be awesome. Have him meet the Turian from the council and say 'Oh yes..."Reapers"...Then proceed to tear his face off.' What an ending lol.

In all cases, I would like to see a chosen ending being more than a few minutes long. I know it is alot of work for you guys at Bioware, but I think the ending really needs to be done properly. Rather than just an underline on a piece of paper, it needs to be chopped off after the last word and tossed in a fire. So something of a decent length, maybe interactive as well.

1. Being rewarded for saving my whole squad by having them return in ME 3

2. More focus on story and less on going to planet A to recruit and then to planet B to settle some issue they have.

3.ALL characters to have conversation wheels and a real chance to get to know people instead of a couple of convos followed by a repeated comment that they are busy etc

4.More intelligent teamates. They imprived enemy AI from the first one but teamates AI is as dumb as ever just run around or charge towards the enemy and get mowed down. Very annoying.

5. A better story. ME 2 has a story that kind of took us away from the whole underlying reaper story. Sure Harbinger was present in voice but we really just focused on the collectors and this human reaper that isn't really explained it's just there.

6. A decent end boss. The human reaper while kind of cool looking made no sense as a final boss. It's never explained what it's function is and it all just felt like a really odd ending to the game. I'd prefer a more satisfying end to the story in ME 3

7. Overhauls to the planet scanning system and galaxy map. Drop the stupid fuel thing it's just a constant annoyence.

8. Emily Wong

9. Some more RPG elements cant seem to get it right for me i felt in the first one there were too many of these silly sidequests that involved running around for mindless things but in ME 2 i sort of missed that element of it we had few sidequests that did not involve shooting everything would like some more RPG style assignments that don't involve shooting mercs.

10. customiseable outfits and armor to a higher level.. Ability to create your own outfits and mod them.

Good point, the suspension of disbelief was stretched incredibly thin for me in that section; a bug is somewhat aerodynamic, and would make sense both in space, and in an atmosphere. In contrast, a human body has loose and long limbs that aren't aerodynamic, and are subject to fairly severe torque forces, an inefficient design unless that reaper model was specifically designed to physically grab things and physically walk on ground. Esentially, a glorified forklift from 2000 years ago. In principle I can understand that it sounded like a fun idea, but in practise it looked far too ridiculous and inneficient to be considered even close to the bane of all humanity.

I would like a pop-up overhead map of the immediate area you're in during combat and use this to position your teammates behind cover, like using the left and right on the d-pad (xbox 360). This pop-up map would come up like the weapon and ability wheels you bring up with the right and left bumpers (again xbox 360). Maybe pushing the right thumbstick in or something. I've seen cover after a fight is over that would have been great to have a teammate behind, but if I spent the time to get him there, I'd die or there isn't any direct line of sight. This would be a great opportunity to add more strategy elements to the game. Getting a character like Garrus or Thane up in a sniping position or Kasumi using her cloak to get behind the enemy would add a lot to the gameplay. And boss battles could be designed with this in mind. Plus, maybe I wouldn't have to spend a lot of time while the battle is going on placing my teammates while getting shot or fixing a teammate who decided to hug the wrong corner and is getting lit up.

I loved the more precise control of teammates from ME1 to ME2. It's one of my favorite improvements. I think this could make it better.

I would like to see our LI play a bigger role in the game, with special dialogue during missions and more interaction like being able to go to your LI quarters and flirt or kiss. I hate it that we only see a romance/sex scene in the end of the game. And I hope they don't censor the sex scene like they did in ME2. This is a M rated game, censorship is stupid.

Damn, I haven't reached the point of wanking for a videogame. I'm not complaining about censoring nudity and I don't care whether they show nudity or not. I'm just saying the love scenes in ME2 look incomplete and empty compared to the ME1 ones. The romance part of the game is so well made, especially in LotSB, that it should be taken to another level and play a bigger role in the game. I'd like to be playing a random mission in ME3 with my LI and be able to talk to her/him about something related to our relationship, like in LotSB.

My wish list is not short, nor thin...

1. Revive the Mako vehicle from the original game. Exploring with it the planets made the ME universe bigger and enjoyable. Make the Mako dependable of fuel and put stations for refuleing across small locations/towns on the planets. It would make a sense of managing the resources and scheduling a plan before going down.
2. Make ALL planets explorable and make them bigger, diverse...
3. Make MORE complex dialogs for relationship M/W. You are on the  right path here but it's so enormous more potential here. Make use of it. Make more than one scene or path which lead to intimate relationship. Surprise us!
4.Reward the level up thing. It would bring a meaning of achievment.
5. Reinstate the original game skill point system.
6. More (new) alien faces.
7. Try to install day/night cycles.
8. Make Normandy (10 times) bigger (more people on board, more places to explore, more places to explore, more people to visit)
9. Make a mission where Normany is boarded in an surprise attack and make the ship A.I. personnel to be DYNAMIC as a response to this agression, not scripted !  The bigger the ship is , the bigger the challenges  would be.
10. Develop more the krogan subject in missions and intrigue. Geths also. Their metalic voice is fascinating.(make them have more dialogs/lines in battles).Develop more  Garrus, the Turian. (or a nice looking turian and shrewd Turian female). Also develop more dr. Chakwas character. Very nicely voice and strong persoanlity behin that voice.Great potential, don't waste it...
11. Try , fi possible, to let A.I. main characters to create , dynamic and randomly (for instance based of your choices YOU make to select two A.I. characters for a missions or more than two, together or create a random select criteria), relationship. It would be great not to expect who with who would be into a personal relationship an it would create a beliveable social life on board of Nomandy and in the ME universe itself.
12.Make a mission where a team is dispatched on board of a shuttle (a dogfight would be nice between locations) and it changes the initial goals , entering into a secondary mission created by an event. Or, for diversity, let both "goals" to be achievable , no matter in what order.
13. Create for HE/SHE an "interior voice" (as in DEXTER) which would give the game a special feeling that the main character is ALIVE and feels everything what is happening around him/her. After each event or/and in the end of one ...triggering that would be nice...
14. Make a second in command, a "No1" , and  make possible to PLAY that character when Shepherd is on HIS/HERS way to another mission (this way you dodn't mess up things) and make that the choices you make playing THAT character to affect the game! It would work here the surprise attack of Normandy I mentioned above.
15. Make a mission where they enter a parallel word and meet....Normandy ! That would be nice!
16. Open the citadel for exploring again like in original game. Make it bigger and involve more the council in missions. Develop more Admiral Andersson character.
17.Bring back ALL the characters (alive of course) from the original game. The krogan, especially.
18.More sexy dresses for commander Shepherd (SHE, of course), skirts would be nice...thank you:)
19.More open spaces in missions/planets to explore.
20.Keep the character visual configuration (maybe make it more complex to allow more faces and expressions)

My Wish List...

Story wise: None, I trust Bioware to make it as epic as possible

Gameplay wise:

1) Personally tweaking weapons to personal preference. Add accuracy but also adding recoil, for example. This makes all weapons viable in some way, instead of just upgrading from one gun to another (Avenger is pretty much useless after you get Revenant or Geth rifle)

2) Adding parts to guns, like scope for pistols or attach a grenade launcher on your assault rifle.

3) That energy shield that Shadow Broker had is pretty baller. Shepard should have one. :P

4) No more global cooldown PLEASE, especially for biotics. Mixing powers is too much fun, but the global cooldown gets annoying when I want to use warp on a lifted enemy. Use some kind of mana system instead to make it less overpowered. And of course, keep individual cooldowns.

5) Teleporting for biotics.

6) Cut scenes based on classes. Every cut scene involving Shepard fighting has been with a pistol or a rifle. Should make cut scenes with Shepard actually using biotics to finish off an enemy for biotic classes.

Too tired to think, I'll come up with more soon.

I felt that me 2 strayed too far from the first in terms of rpg mechanics and the overall epic feel, so here are my thoughts on how they could improve it for me 3:

. bring back the sense of scale, i didn't mind the mako my problem was with the woeful planet design, i am not saying that every side mission needs to be explorable planets i enjoyed the more linear ones in me2 as well but maybe at least half of them should be explorable. i think bioware could learn a thing or too from thq's red faction guerrilla on open planet design.

. on the exploration missions give us the choice to go down in either the mako or hammerhead this would create great variety and appease the fans of both vehicles. i would also love to see the Normandy actually land on these planets and drive our mako or hammerhead out of the vehicle bay on to the planet surface, it would be great to see the Normandy from the outside.

. the mineral scanning was the most tedious feature that i have ever used in a game. i think a better idea would be to reincorporate the mineral finding system they had in the first game on the side planet exploration missions, the only reason it sucked in me1 was because the minerals had no real use.

. add day and night cycles and random weather patterns.

. please bring back the inventory system and squad customisation there is nothing more rewarding in an rpg than finding a new cool piece of armour or weapon to equip your character and squad mates. oh and please give us a helmet toggle option.

. more party banter and interaction, ie dragon age style, also have your squad on the Normandy actually doing something like walking around chatting to each other, this creates a better sense of atmosphere and realism.

. cover system still needs a bit more refining as well, like being able to roll from cover to cover without having to move out from cover and running to the next position. i also think we need to be able to have more control over sqaudmates like telling them to hold position or regrouping.

. i would like to have the city areas larger like the citadel and omega they felt to small and cramped in contrast to how big this universe is, it took away the immersion for me. maybe also allow us to return to the areas of the citadel in me1.

that’s all for now, if some of these ideas have already been said i apologise i am new to these forums and have not red many posts.

1. A Quest-hub like the Citadel was in ME1 before you left the citadel
for the first time you could easily quest an hour or two and still have a
lot of quests for later.

2. bring back the Planets to explore and the sidemissions on those planets
and the updated mako from the PC version where you could zoom and
accurately hit you targets plus the mako has a decent shield and a good
armor the mako has more Authoritah.

3. Transform the survey-able from ME1
Planet's into Planetscanner ones or like i read in another post let us delegate the mining

4. A Inventory and loot system the Levelrange to 60 and full character-development

5. The ability to mod weapons and armor like in ME1 if possible with the research system from ME2
upgrading the Normandy was awesome

6. The "Citadel-Elevators" and the "loading" logo instead of screens and squad and crew banter
People that are not just standing around.

7. The Normandy doesn't undock every time you enter <_<
bring back the airlock

8.Keep the FPS mechanic from ME2 it is frakkin awesome but please use the
skill system from ME1 along with the full skill tree the global cool-down from ME2 is :pinched:

9.Please please reduce the amount of loading screen to a minimum like only inside the Normandy :crying:

10.Make the mission debriefing a conversation and not a just a static screen like the mission report to the council

11.Combine the Ammo-system from ME1 + ME2 so you can instantly cool down a weapon with a thermal clip and prolong the normal cooling of the weapon for a second or two

12.Less Automatism

ME 2 combat is great.

ADEPTS I want adepts to feel like biotic gods again. I felt to reliant on guns as an adept in ME 2 in ME 1 adepts were a bit on the high powered side I admit, so a balance between the two power levels would be nice.

(edit addition) Remove the global  cool down on biotics for Adepts, maybe that would have taken care of feeling less powerful as an adept.

ELEVATOR RIDES bring them back. Since there was almost zero crew to crew interaction in ME2 I would like elevator convos again or simply have more moments where your team mates interact. I miss those random character interactions that occurred in KOTOR.

SKILLS and UPGRADES I really liked being able to customize my armor and guns with mods.

THERMAL CLIPS two thumbs down. Overheating in ME1 makes sense.
Thermal clips are silly and annoying. The mass effect universe has hyper cooling tech. Remove the clip put it in the hyper cooling unit on your armor take second clip put in your gun. When that clip over heats use the one in the hyper cooling port on your armor.
I really just preferred the heat meter and mods to manage heat and ammo types way better.

STORY I love the story so far but the writers were a little sloppy. You did great cinematic moments in ME2 but occasionally things occurred during the story that didn't makes sense or would have been disastrous if all the relevant context was taken in to account.

So please tighten up the writing don't ignore what you establish as facts in the story then ignore them to bring about a cinematic moment. If you really want to do the moment explain why the fact is no longer relevant in some dialog.

CREW to CREW INTERACTION more please much more.

MAKO and HAMMERHEAD both were acceptable but both had their flaws. Tonka truck gone wild or uncredible flying hovercraft. I think I would prefer slower heaver more realistic movement in my combat vehicles but that is my preference which may be a minority.

DIALOG the dialog and voice acting in both are fantastic double kudos for Jennifer Hale.
There are times when there are just really obvious archetypical character retorts that aren't there.
In ME 1 I really really wanted to tell the council "I TOLD YOU SO" or tell Udina "that's what you get for stabbing me in the back". There were just moments here and there that obvious dialog choices seemed to be missing.

All in all I have come to Love the Mass Effect Universe. I loved Star Wars but my love for Mass Effect has surpassed my former love.
Thanks for the best game series ever.
