So as I said before give back the rpg and epic story
I haven't noticed to many glitches on my copy of 2 the main glitch I get is when you go solo on the downed ship sitting on the edge of a cliff I make it to the end but when I'm ready to get up on that last platform and hit the console Shep doesn't make it to the platform instead in invisible floor is present and I can run over the console even over the side beams and not fall off so I have to reset it several times in order to actually be able to finish the mission but really thats only 1 of 3 times its happened with invisible floors for me anyway but glitches like that shouldn't be in games really.
Bring back carnage and a powerful shot gun
Multi layered loyalty missions for crew and special missions for LI like if you romance Tali the Almirty board meets with you and says " We know about you and Tali if you want to be part of the fleet via her then you have to do things to help us" so they send you on fleet missions to prove your loyalty to the fleet and so forth. With Miranda hers would be help her with her dad then maybe help her with her sister going rouge or something if you mess up one of these or both you she breaks up with you. That wouldn't make it end of conversation though maybe after 2 or 3 attempts to talk to say Miranda and she shuts you down she'll start talking again and after alot of time you can start to win her back over.
is there vids and dossiers on Shepard in SB? I'd like to know what he's got I mean I'm already creeped out by what he already knows about everyone else!
All home worlds with large explorable areas I want to go where I want to go unless its someones house then I need to knock!
And the ability to return as I want to said home worlds and find new sidemissions to do kind of like SB did with the vids come back and you have more to do!
Let me go back to colonies I've saved like Feros maybe even take the asari girl there up on her offer?
What about a Parassini romance? She does kiss you after all? Maybe she could be the off ship LI others have asked for.
Also some funny animation banter if say you romance a squad mate and someone else either touches Shepard suggestively or kissing him/her then your LI will comment if it happens again they'll get mad at whoever touched Shep like I went to Illium talked to Parasini she kissed me Tali (who I romanced) was right there! I'm like," Wait my GF there!" Tali should've said something I was surprised she didn't then same day I mee the Asari from Feros she has a suggestion and touches my arm I freaked out again Tali should've gotten mad sense she was present for both encounters I just think that would've been hilarious and give both scenes more weight sense these actions so called for it.

Better cover animations. Something like Mafia II RDR or Uncharted.
Varied cover instead of copy pasted cover.
Flowing clothes and hair.
A normal walking speed.
Idle animations that aren't a cluster**** of stretching.
I'd like some missions that don't take place on a perfect day.
Less calibrations more dialog.
Wrex.
Urz.
Planetary exploration. While we're at it if you implement planetary exploration let us get out of whatever shark related vehicle we're in.
Helmet toggle.
More hair.
Party Banter
The ability to change the name of The Citadel to The Shepard. Or at the very least a big statue with your name on it.
Female Krogan
Female Turians
Female Batarians
The ability to not go to hub worlds armed to the teeth.
Squad making comments on or approving/disapproving of your actions.
Being able to shave. IE change your facial hair.
Seconded
Yay I have approval of people I don't know. Well a person.

On that note: conversations that involve more than one squadmate. These could be orchestrated to be part of the story (though it would be cool if they were randomized, too).
I didn't like how the Mako handled, but I actually enjoyed driving around planets looking for stuff. I like nothing about the Hammerhead, quite frankly. As a vehicle it could work, but it's somehow too "cute." The snarky VI voice is kind of cool, but the "mining" mechanic is, to my mind, straight-up silly. Not that I want to have to get out and do some mini-game to mark a mineral resource, either. Something in between would be nice though: the ability to get out, if you find an abandoned building somewhere. I've said this before, but one of my favorite things about ME 1 was how space exploration was made to seem--despite the technology available--still a very lonely and dangerous undertaking. In ME 2, I felt the greater danger was from the people who live in space, rather than the deadly environment being just as big a factor. So I'm not against vast expanses of nothingness on the explorable planets, though I am somewhat against planets that have completely unnavigable terrain (there were quite a few of those). There has to be some middle ground between the two. But for God's sake, enough of the "frogger-esque" plaforming. I just don't see that having a place in the Mass Effect universe.
Somewhat related: why on earth were our squadmates, with the exception of Garrus and Tali, wearing weird little hospital masks over their faces when we went into outerspace? What happened to space helmets/ suits? That lack of "realism" took me out of the game more than any of the loading screens, and I think it was probably the greatest flaw of character design--that your squad's uniforms didn't seem especially tailored either to the hazards of combat, or of their environment.

- I'd like to see a smaller squad (not much smaller; maybe between 6 and 8?). Having each squad-member or 4 or 5 powers (with greater customization for the player) would get around any "holes" in powers you might have.
- I'd like to see party banter, like in DA:O. This kind of thing would probably be best in areas like Omega and the Citadel, where fire fights wouldn't interrupt it. On the other hand, news broadcasts, ads, and conversations were all over ME 2 (more so than ME 1), so I suppose this could make things too busy.
- I'd like to see some core, non DLC missions that use the Hammerhead. I'd like to see that hovercraft improved (more weapons, a better indicator of shields, etc.). Upgrades available for the Hammerhead would be nice.
- I'd like powers to do a bit more against defended enemies. Cryo could slow an enemy instead of freezing it, and make it vulnerable to damage if it is defended, for example.
- Armor and equipment for squad-mates would be sweet. They could give different advantages to the squad-mates - we had a little of this with the Krogan shotgun for Grunt and so forth, but if we could find or purchase rage armor for grunt, and have it grant bonuses to him, it would be even better.
- Volus crew-member, Elcor crew-member or squad-mate, Batarian squad-mate (I'm thinking the Hegemony's equivalent of a Specter). We met plenty of Batarian's that weren't slavers, murderers or terrorists, but we don't know much about the species so far. I'd like to see the Hanar a bit more, they were just window-dressing in ME 2.
- Female Krogan, Turians, and Salarians. They wouldn't even need to look too different from the males!

You don't do that IRL, the only reason to have your gun pointed in front of you is if A. You're shooting at something. B. You're in CQC. C. Your doing a sweep of a building IE CQC. And you walk like a frickin' reatard with it pointed out. When I playpaint ball and I'm moving to cover I don't have my gun pointed infront of me unless I'm firing.

Better dancing animations, Shepard is a rubbish dancer!
More hair options, realistic hair.
Maybe a chance to man the normandys guns? because you cannot stop a Reaper fleet with a assault rilfe.
A more normal sounding female shepard, i just find the badass attitude annoying, Even when she is trying to sound sorry for someone there this "don't mess with or else" tone in the voice. Works ok for the male shepard but not the female.
More Armor and weapons options also if we get another Blooddragon armor which i love, i just wish there was an option to remove the bloody helmet!
No rushed ending!!!!!!!!! Trouble with most games is alot of work seems to go into the beginnings and middles, but when it comes to doing and ending to a game 9/10 times the ending is rushed and therefore normally rubbish, see Starcraft 2 wings of lib ending. Please Bio put as much love as you do into the rest of the game into the ending as well please.
A kick ass awesome soundtrack. Maybe a mix of 2 types used in ME1 & 2. I love the style of ME1 but i also love a good epic orchestral/choir soundtrack.
Last of all and i have said it a couple of times. Please leave Legion, Garrus, Grunt and Wrex as party members please. They are the best characters of the series.
Oh maybe also a chance to play as some one else from your party, like the scene in ME2 where you play as joker. That would be cool

I became so sick of it that I quit caring about upgrades, and just tendered everything into omnigel. On subsequent play through the game, I would fire up the cheat console and give everyone the level 10 version of their starting armor & weapons and the components that seem appropriate, and then render everything I pick up in the game into omnigel without a second thought.
The system in ME2 was brilliant. Perhaps it may be improved with some tweaking, but I haven't seen any suggestions that really seem like improvements so far. Obviously DLC armor needs a helmet toggle, that is a no-brainer. Companions need more options (like the alternate appearance pack provided - those should be available for every character.)
I do think that most characters should have casual and armored appearances. Miranda looks great in her body suit, but really should have a combat suit for, you know... combat. It would have been really nice to be able to put the blood Dragon Armor on Miranda, or the Terminus armor on Garrus. I would only want to do this through a "cycle appearance" type function, and not through inventory management.
Anyway, that's how I feel about it.

- More vehicle stuff. The Hammerhead missions (excepting Overlord) were fairly pointless and largely unsatisfying.
- Inventory. While it got super-messy in ME1, I liked having more options to tool my weapons. I really dislike losing a nice power slot to ammo powers.
- Overheating. Thermal clips suck compared to how things were handled in ME1. I really hate having to reload.
- Mines. It was nice to be able to huck a grenade and detonate it at the right moment. A heavy weapon that allows for a delay would be nice.
- XP for kills. I like XP for missions, but I'd rather feel like every bullet counted. Some missions I just ran past a lot of enemies because I knew they'd only slow me down without supplying other benefits.
What I like in Mass Effect 2 that I want to see more of:
- Hacking & Bypass were a great advance over ME1. However, I think that they need to be used more frugally. Throwing a hack/bypass onto a necessary game objective is pointless. Either make a cost for failure (more enemies show up), or a bonus for success. And tech-oriented characters should get some sort of significant boost to the timing. Nobody likes speed bumps.
- Hacking could be more challenging. Consider having the red blocks move around... you're being "sniffed out".
- Make exploration & discovery more rewarding. Rather than leave most of the meaty upgrades lined up as part of standard missions, they should be your reward for going off the beaten path. It encourages people to take advantage of the rest of the world that has been developed.
- The Mattock heavy rifle is satisfying to shoot. It has a nice sound. By comparison, the sound on the submachine guns make me feel like I'm shooting rice.
- Stepping out of Shepard's shoes, and other action interludes. Its really nice being able to take a break from the norms of fighting, talking and walking.
- More function to Paragon and Renegade. The further Shepard moves in either direction, the more powerful the adversaries that rise to meet him. A Paragon Shepard might be confronted by the Blood Pack/Blue Suns/Eclipse trifecta, where a Renegade Shepard might be on the run from the Alliance Fleet.
What isn't in Mass Effect 2 that I want to see:
- I agree with the people saying that being able to pilot the Normandy would be greatly appreciated. Fighting pirates, evading Reapers and dodging Asteroids would make for a nice break (and nice salvage).
- There should be a vendor to turn bulk minerals into credits, and vice versa.
- Also on minerals, you might make them a consumable for heavy weapons and specialized ammo on missions. Element Zero should be able to provide temporary biotic boosts. This encourages more mining and exploration.
- A decision generator for previous Mass Effects. If I have purchased and beaten Mass Effect 1 & 2, I'd like the option to customize my decision tree for a new character before going into Mass Effect 3.
- Change the voice on Shepard when I change the face. I know that's a tall order, but hearing the same voice come out all the time regardless of customizations seems a little wierd.
- Squadmate reactions and loyalties should be based on your Paragon/Renegade scores, and evolve with them. Some squadmates will react better to a Renegade, and some worse. If I get too far to an extreme, some of my squadmates should leave... or try to kill me.
What I really don't want to see in Mass Effect 3:
- "Hurry Up" being pointless. There are a lot of moments in the game where characters or events make time seem important (So and so is dying, EDI recommends haste), and its a real letdown when that doesn't matter (he dies anyway). When you say that time is important, then there should be a timer, rewards for speed, and penalties for delays.
- If I am not under fire, I shouldn't need to enter into cover in order to climb stairs. I know that a simple "jump" function is something you're avoiding to help contain the environment, but it looks silly to have to "climb stairs" that way.
I'm really looking forward to seeing how this epic ends!!!! At the same time, I'll be really sad to see it go. The story has been terrific.

a mobile assault unit for EDI
some kind of custom security mech like the ones that you often have to fight in the game that EDI can transfer into to join in the fray

this doesnt really seem appropriate for ME though since a renegade character isnt necessarily one who is a "bad guy" he just does things in a more extreme way

I don't know. Weren't there a few missions in ME 1 you could only do if you had a high enough paragon or renegade score? Bringing that back would really add a new twist to second and third playthroughsBFG Achilies wrote...

- In the conversation system, add the option to correct yourself. Say you perform a renegade action, you can perform a paragon action afterwards. Let me explain this one as I have a perfect example. In the ship when you first meet the engineers on the lower deck, when you say "I didn't hear an officer on deck!", as the engineer is stumbling with his words nervously, put a paragon action afterward allowing you to say something like "I'm just messing with you guys. I like to joke around a bit!". Or the opposite, where you act nice, and then turn around and say "What you really thought I was your buddy? Get to work, NOW!" or something.

Exactly. That was the only real miscue in character design in ME 2. I assumed there was some implication that none of the missions were taking place in a vacuum, but even that doesn't really make any sense, given that it's set in space. But yeah, I had a real WTF moment when I looked at Miranda and her hair was out, and her face was covered with a little oxygen mask. I mean Kaiden, or Liara, or Ashley all have helmets on in the opening cinematic. Why not carry it through?

Agreed on all points.
And in some weird way, I'm already morning ME 3 being over. I really, really hope that Shepard doesn't die, or that at least that it's not the only possible outcome.

While the use of the Mako wasn't utilized as well as it could have been in ME1, the vehicle itself is by far superior to the Hammerhead. It just fit Shepard and what he was doing, dropping down to a planet in some rugged heavily armored APC with jump thrusters. I mean the Mako was one of the first things that drew me in when i saw a ME1 commercial. It just fits. They could bring back planets somewhat like in ME1 but with an easier way of locating things as well as slightly less annoying terrain. The Hammerhead to me just feels like a POS little toy.... Sorry but with all the bugs in the first game the Mako was just by far better fitting in the story, and i thought it functioned better.
