I don't really care about Achievements, but still: ME1 requires to play the game multiple times to get them all, but on ME2 it's possible to get all of them on a single playthrough and only a couple of them require any sort of stretch. I mean, "get 15 codex entries", what the hell is that about?

So please make Achievements promote multiple playthroughs again.

- Only 5 or 10 of them tied to the main story events everyone has to complete, not around 30 like ME2 does

- Make the "headshot/use power/other x amount of times" seem like accomplishment. 5-30 is pathetically easy and short I get during the first couple of mission without even knowing about it

- Make the other misc achievements matter as well. Ones like collect every codex entry (perhaps with a couple of milestones on the way), complete every mission, romance every LI, complete the game with every different class... That kind of stuff really lets me, and others, know I have done and found everything

- Plus the basic difficulty achievements, max levels, upgrades and skills, renegade/paragon/neutral achievements...

What if, during missions (side quests, N7 missions, etc.) if your squadmates get knocked down (i.e. need to be revived with medi-gel) they get "wounded" and have to sit out the next round? Maybe you could even see them in the infirmary, a little sling on the arm or some such.

That would be a nice touch the gameplay, forcing players to actually take care of their teammates on missions.

Here's two other ideas (I'm talking for the PC crowd)

- Bring back the old squad control from ME1 (PC), where you could tell them to hold position, target, move. I know that ME2 has the same function, but it's too steamlined, I can't tell my squad to hold position, unless I put them in cover.

- PLEASE, don't group the Use/Run/Power Wheel on the same button, it's awful, I can understand for the console, but for the PC it's just making it worst since in the majority of games, "E" is for Use and LShift is Run. Most of the time I end up telling my teammate to move when trying to open a door.

I would hope that game developers will add more "locations" (planets - similar maps from the first game, but not so empty). Add more "beautiful space" (Hubble can help). Maximum freedom of choice among the "survivors» persons. Mentioned in the story of planet Earth. At least as an object of the danger from the Reapers. These proposals, and some others, I introduced myself as a small slide-film (Universe Mass Effect). If interested - see site: http://www.dailymoti...-effect-1_music

Actually sounds really good. When I wished the gear of our squadmates mattered I was only thinking about suicide-mission type of cases when I can't control what happens to teammates

I don't know if anyone already post this (250+ pages), but I would like to visit, and even do a mission in the planet based on our character's psychological profile (Sole Survivor=Akuze, War Hero=Elysium, Ruthless=Torfan), learning more about Shepard's history and making contact with characters that were with Shepard in his battles that took place on those planets.

PS.: Sorry for my bad english. it's not my natural language.

Here's an idea for some weapons for ME3.  As I understand all Mass Effect weapons are micro scaled mass accelerators (like rail guns I think) that fire a slug the size of a metal shaving to near light speeds and causes great damage.  What if someone in mass effect outfited early 21st century (modern day) firearms with mass accelerators.  There would be the obvious ammo, upgrade, and reload limitations, but the effect would be devastating, assuming there's anyone that can withstand the recoil enough to get off more than one shot before knocked on their ass, although even today there are plenty of ways to reduces the recoil of a gun (gas blowback, double recoil springs, etc.) so in the future they would likely have even better ways to reduce recoil.  they may take the fun out of the game if not faced with alot of boss enemies, because any enemy that is not huge or protected by armor and shields or biotic barriers are dead within the first few rounds and organic enemies that are will be knocked on there ass.  they also wouldn't compact themselves like nearly every gun in mass effect, so bioware may not like this idea.

First, I'd like to thank Bioware for all the fun I had with their games. I've played them all since Baldur's Gate back in 1998. For me, Mass Effect 2 isn't just a great game, it's so far beyond all the drab Fantasy, the military shooters and all that stuff, it might as well be from a different universe.

As for my wishlist:

- Don't restrict the decision making to dialogue choices. I'd like to illustrate this with an example from Deus Ex:
There was one scene where you were in an apartment together with your injured brother and some evil guys were coming to kill you. He was compelling you to flee through the fire escape, so that at least you would survive. Now you could do this (and most people, including me, did, you fulfill your objectives in a game, no questions asked), or you could decide to stay and defend your brother. To me, this kind of decision making feels much more involving then just selecting a dialogue option.

- More non Paragon/Renegade choices. I have a feeling that, although there are hundreds of ways they could diverge, a lot of the savegames that will be imported in Mass Effect 3, will look very much like my own. I nearly always took the Paragon option and I suspect that lots of players did the same. More choices like the one in Mass Effect 1, where you had to decide between Ashley and Kaidan, would probably make the universe feel more... individual.

- Don't mollycoddle your players! I want puzzles that don't have obvious solutions, I want quests that are not extensively signposted - I want to figure out for myself what to do next. Having to think about the solution gives me much more of a sense of accomplishment. Now I understand that doing something like this during the main quests would frustrate many players who could get stuck and not be able to proceed without a walkthrough, but a few sidequests in this vein would be great. Like the party scene in the Kasumi DLC - how much cooler would it have been, if the player hadn't always been told exactly what to do?

- Make the romances a little bit more interactive. At least, don't make them more or less inevitable. Mass Effect 2 apparently decided that I was in the middle of a Romance with Jack, although I'm pretty sure all I ever did was being friendly towards her. The gifts were one of the few good ideas of Dragon Age, something like that would be fine too.

- More complex relationships between the party members. Like Minsc-Aerie or Aerie-Haer'Daelis.

- Most importantly: don't pull any punches! I want a grand, tragic story. If a friend has to die, let him bleed to death in Shepard's arms, don't take the easy, clinical way out, like in Mass Effect 1. Hopeless last stands, lovers dying holding hands... all that stuff. Who but Bioware would be up to it?

I wish ME3 to not have some serious mistakes in thoughts, like the ammo heat clips (zeroth law of thermodynamics), unbreakable and impenetrable objects and unlimited missiles for mechs.

Moreover I wish for ME3 to have longer Missions which can unfold stories like Noveria or Virmire in ME1.

dont worry you did a great job :) better than a lot of people whose first language is english.

otherwise i would new squad members mainly aliens humans are the most boring IMHO

i think it would be cool o select who joins the team. maybe if some people want to go off on their own then they talk to you about it and you can decide let them go and have them replaced by someone else or keep them.

After my 8th playthrough, I've realized something about the sidequests - they were headed in the right direction by making them less cookie-cutter, but they're still not good enough. I want something a la Fallout 3's sidequests - where there are only a half dozen of them, but they're long quest chains with their own VO and story. They felt like quests that were almost as important as the main quest.

And just to add emphasis, I'll thrown in a few things that I'm sure have already been said, but I'd just like to second:

*Squad banter. Lots of it. All over. More squad conflicts on the Normandy.
*Weapon customization. I don't want loot per se (definitely not like it was in ME1,) but I'd occasionally like to find something cool, and have it be randomized so I can't memorize where it is. Maybe only after fighting a boss or something. Make the loot drops different for different classes.
*Collapsible Helmets

Species specific items and weapons.

No multiplayer.

More squad banter.

Hybrid ammo system.

I'd like to see a buttfor.

HELMET TOGGLE.

An option on the galaxy map to see various territories.ie/ Highlight asari, turian, and salarian space, etc.

A museum or at least visual codex entries in regards to extinct species such as the zeioph, and others mentioned during planet scans.

The ability to see some of the archeological sites mentioned during planet scans

Ignoring travel advisaries during scanning should result in random conflict.

A buttfor.

More alien language and script. The quarians had their native font inside of their ships, why the fock do the asari have english plastered everywhere? (Liara's Degree)

Scarring caused by combat, not Paragon or Renegade choices.

More hair choices.

Better control in character editor.

Ham sandwiches.

Hybrid ammo, rocking. More squad banter, rocking. Homeworlds, rocking. I think we need to hear words in a species' language and then a translation so we can relate to characters and species' so that we better understand their culture.

At least 3 different endings and really different not the same cut scene add or minus a scene three different believable endings one for para, neutral, and ren please

Have 20 recruitable characters but only room for like 8 on the ship we can use dossiers, emails, and SB to get info on all possible recruits and decide who we need to go get and who we'd rather not the vids can be used also to show us these people to help us decide. This would encourage replay sense players can combine people for how they play or to get different events on baord the ship and alternative missions as they play.

Have some side missions and larger missions open up only after you beat the game if the reapers where the final boss then these missions would not need to build on defenses for the reapers but they could be like ultra drug lord has a compound that he's threatening to use his nuke to blow up the moon colony you need to raid his compound and get him but make it involved and difficult. This way these missions would allow for those who continue playing to play some worth while things.

All major homeworlds and multiple side quests and availability for exploration with more being added on after game completions use the concept of the vids in SB once you leave the station and next time you come back you get new vids same idea but with side quests and different people appear or disappear depending on where you are in the main story plot.

Let me help Garrus as a friend but if I romanced him maybe I get some more scenes while I'm helping him.

I want to appoint my XO so far I like others suggestions on choosing either Miranda, Garrus, and Jacob also some people in my opinion need job reassignments or assigned jobs period like I'd like to reassign Miranda to a new post in her case it'd be a step down from XO also Legion needs to work for Tali he's just standing in the AI core his talents are going to waste. And once members are reassigned to areas they qualify in they show up there and do things.

Overheat and unlimited ammo

Stronger shotgun like 1 was

Longer lasting tactical cloak please

Random Prothean beacons for the hunters outthere that look for things like that and you have 3 types you can find ones that give you powers that only shep can use, Tech upgrades prothean specific, and flashback/play the role of a alien in a given situation that will lead you later to more tech, armor, or guns in the real world.

Let us go back to all colonies and homeworlds for sidequest and for the hell off it please and make them explorable into the city limits if not outside of them too please

More improv cover like 1 had I had to squeeze where ever I could find cover I don't like the chest high walls in 2 and crates that have no business in the space being piled up for no useful purpose other then to give me cover have shields last longer so I can improv my cover.

No end mission or load screens

If I board my ship on a docked world don't auto assume I want to leave stay until I go to the map and say leave.

Urz as a pet and maybe he can come into battle in a few missions with us maybe he boards the shuttle w/o us knowing and hey I got a varen to command using the D pad up for attack down for come or something?

ME1 love scenes a few more then final mission status if you import a LI from 2 if not and you're romancing one for the first time maybe they can be an end mission love but after you beat the game and continue you get a few more love scenes too.

LI sidequest that allow the relationship to be tested not just for your LI do one for you LI and maybe they need to prove it to you in someway on a mission? Like I don't know you get captured and LI has to save you?

Liked the squad banter in SB can we have 3 + way depending on how intense the battle is and how close squad is in relations to one another like if I've got Garrus near me and we're pinned down me and him would talk but say Jacob being across the field is not in range so he would not talk. Then if me and Garrus regroup with him and a second battle breaks out all three of us will banter sense we're now in range of one another.

Don't keep weapons auto drawn I liked in 1 where I could draw or put away my weapons when I wanted bring it back for 3.

More things off duty to do beyond drinking and strippers please
